This is a good thriller. It has all the makings to be a great thriller. It was hard getting passed the dialect honestly. That's just my preference though.

Thank you to NetGalley, Author, and Publisher for the opportunity to read this title.

Started off a bit slow for me, but picked up towards the middle! Kept me interested all the way through, it was a great read!

A mystery thriller in which the dead won't stay dead.

A story about a girl that is going through a lot recovering from a break up that has left her with nothing. We explore frienships and family relationships in this thriller that focuses a bit more on the drama than in the real horror of things. Our main character seems to be stalked but who is after her and why?

We jump back and forth in time revisiting some of the character's past which also felt like weird cuts in the story. It sort of interrupted the flow that the book had.

Unfortunately there was some representation I did not like in the book specially towards the end that did not leave a good taste in my mouth and it ended up taking a lot of points off for me.

This was an interesting book. Aside from the first paragraph the first half of the book is set in the past so I couldn't figure out where the whole back from the dead story line was going to fit in. Then I thought I had the twist figured out and then I was like ok this book is good I like what he's doing. Turns out I actually had no clue what was going on. Kevin threw in a bunch of twists in the second half that were completely out of left field. In order to give this book a fair rating I needed to over look a ton of spelling and grammar errors which I hope will be fixed before the finished copy comes out. Other than those it was a great read.

This was the perfect book to read in the winter time surround by the rocky mountain sow. I love thriller and horror and this book was not short of any of that. I found myself intrigued as well as scared. I love the way this book gripped me from the very start. I am interested to read more from this author.

This book is awesome!
A child's story that was meant to scare them to behave all the time actually happens!
In the child's story, if you listen closely you can hear the dead calling out for you in the waters.
A lady was killed 19 years ago comes back to life for revenge against the one who killed her.

Liked the story, about a woman who has a break down in her relationship, left with nothing. But one night she finds herself dead, how can this be? Who killed her? Who can she trust? Paige needs to find her killer as more and more people fall victim, beatings, stalking and murder. Give this book a chance, if you overlook the mistakes you might enjoy it.

It is so refreshing to read a book that the storyline is so unlike any others that you have read.It was fast paced throughout and kept you wanting to read on. The story centres on Paige and other people that are involved in her life. Can she find out what happened to her before it's too late. People she trusted are not who so thinks they are and time is running out for her to fin the truth beofre it's too late.
I highly recommend this book.

A suspenseful paranormal read

Paige has heard a legend told to her by her brother about the water voices. When you die the voices of the ocean call for you. As a child this embellished story always scared her.
Now as a grown woman she is an atheist. Not believing in a higher power.
Paige's best friend is Tanya. Tanya has been hiding something from Paige but she can't figure out what it is.
Paige has become a new aunt. Her brother Robin and his wife Gwen have had a baby girl. They named her Jane.
Paige is on her own now, having been bamboozled by her boyfriend. He cleared out the bank accounts, mortgages the house they live in to the hilt, then put it all in her name. She is drowning in his debt.
Helen is the new lady that started working at the same place as Paige and Tanya. Every one finds her a little odd. It's hard to put a finger on what it is about her, but it seems like she's hiding something.
Helen, Paige, Gwen and Tanya have all been brought together for a reason. They each have a role to.play in this paranormal mystery of who done it, and why. It's a discovery of truth and lies. We find that words do hurt and can carry long term mental problems. Ultimately we find that good and evil does exist. This is their story.
Riveting, suspenseful all the way to the end!

The Water Voices is full of interesting characters and a mystery that is so good, that I wasn't able to put the book down. Paige's hunt for her own murder is the things nightmares are made of.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

“Someone tried to kill me, but I don’t know who.” Paige Gardner wakes up on a beach at the foot of a cliff. She’s half in and half out of the water and only certain that someone pushed her off. As she staggers down the beach, she finds her own body. This opening dragged into Mr. Grover’s novel by the throat, desperate to discover what she is and what’s going on.
The rest of the book didn’t live up to the exciting first chapter. Most of the following story is just a litany of the troubles of a young woman whose husband abandoned her and took all the money. With the exception of having a two physical bodies, one alive and one dead, Paige was as dull as dishwater. None of the characters engaged my interest in the slightest.
I hoped for a resolution in the end that would salvage the book. I was disappointed. If anything, the ending was as unsatisfying as the other chapters after the first.

This was a paranormal thriller set around the lives of Paige and Tanya.

It was a really good thriller, with an array of violent exes, past vendettas, and sociopathic characters.

The book starts with Paige coming to on the beach having been pushed from the cliff. She is sat next to her own dead body. As she returns home she is confused as to how she can be alive and dead at the same time. This theme isn't touched on again until the end of the book - and is the only paranormal bit of the story. This isn't really explained in any great detail.

Without the paranormal element (which you can ignore anyway) this was a great thriller, with lots of twists and turns which throw you off the scent. There were lots of interesting characters, some of which were quite sinister and goes to show you don't always know who you are dealing with.

Unfortunately this just wasn't my cup of tea. It starts off relatively interesting, but quickly becomes a run of the mill thriller. The female characters didn't really ring true with me and only talked about men, it was obvious they were written by a man!
