Would I read more by this author? Yes

fun and lovable as well as a cute romance series with adorable puppies and strong women who find their forever home with the men they fall for. And lets not forget heartwarming as well. The way the author writes this series is in a way that they will pull on your heartstrings and will make you laugh and cry but in a good way , with that said I want to thank SOURCEBOOKS Casablancaas well as NetGalley for letting read and review it .

Readers of this delightful Forever Home series by Lucy Gilmore no doubt have enjoyed meeting the Vasquez sisters and the wonderful service dogs they train and match with ideal owners. In this book we have Dawn's story as she is in the process of rescuing a golden retriever, even though the only way she can do this is by stealing her, whom she immediately names Gigi.

Dawn has her next client, Adam Dearborn, due to a near comedy of errors when she rescued Gigi. What Adam hadn't realized at first, is that Dawn has gotten herself in a bit of a pickle, and Gigi has become a pawn in order for Dawn to be kept out of trouble. Having asked Adam's brother Zeke for help to grab the dog, once they get her, they are stopped for speeding. Things began to become clearer when Zeke informs the sheriff who stopped them that the dog was for Adam as he needed a service dog to help him on his ranch. This certainly comes to a surprise to Adam and now his life will never be the same again.

So Adam now has a dog, one in need of care as the neglectful situation she was in has left her injured and malnourished. There is a hitch, however. Gigi is in no way trained to be a service dog. What is more is that Dawn has already fallen for the puppy. Adam was just a way for Dawn not to get into trouble. That is hardly enough for Adam to consider. Nope. He already loves the pup and now decides she might be just what he needs for the ranch.

Dawn reluctantly agrees to train Gigi to work with Adam on his ranch. This itself will be problematic. The trio will have to spend quite a bit of time together. Considering the fact that Dawn and Adam are more than drawn to one another just might get in the way of them working together in behalf of the dog. Dawn ponders her future from time to time? The fact that her sisters have found love. Is Adam the one for Dawn? Will she find that chance at happiness?

This was an enjoyable story. One filled with give and take as the relationship between Dawn and Adam grew. Sensuality and sexuality, along with the growing friendship that develops, the fact that the stories in this series revolve around dogs, all work together when it comes to Puppy Kisses being a wonderful addition to the series. The previous two books in the series are Puppy Love and Puppy Christmas.

Many thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca and to NetGalley for this ARC to review. This is my honest opinion.

This is the third book in the series, and I would definitely recommend that you start at the beginning as this is an ongoing story of three sisters and their journey towards a happily ever after and its impact on them all as a family and joint business owners. Dawn is the one left at home now and she has had a lot of the care of the trainee service dogs left to her.

I absolutely love how we discover the reality of the state of play (shall we call it that?!) between Dawn and Adam. It is really a fun twist and really fitted them – both very nervous of not being enough, when in fact they were exactly right together. I enjoyed how Adam recognised the amazing talent Dawn had to brighten everyone's day – her way of seeing things and giving those around her a positive outlook is really impressive. Even when he discovers how the golden retriever puppy (let's not argue about her name!) came to be in his care, he recognises her actions were for the right reasons.

So much goodness, so much humour, and such a perfect outcome in the end. Very enjoyable read, thank you Lucy Gilmore.

I have been patiently waiting for Dawn's book! Book #3 in the Forever Home series is about the middle sister, the firecracker, Dawn. One of three sisters that run Puppy Promise, a training program for service dogs, the first two books feature the other sisters and I recommend reading them if you haven't already.

As I said, I've been waiting for Dawn's book and couldn't wait to meet the dog in here. The story starts out quickly, with Dawn swooping in to steal a mistreated puppy. This was the highlight of the story for me. This is the Dawn that I was expecting to see.

As per usual, the dogs were fantastic. I would go as far to say they stole all the scenes they were in.

The romantic storyline between Dawn and Adam was okay. I didn't feel the passion or lust.

I will say that I loved Bea and she may have been my favorite character in the book.

Overall, this story was cute, but I was expecting a lot more from it.

This book is about a woman named Dawn who trains service animals with her sisters. She's determined to raise a guide dog for Adam a man she's in love with but Adam is intent on fighting her in all things, can they get through their challenges and find true love?

I loved Dawn she was awesome! Fierce and knew what she wanted and tried really hard to get Adam on her side but Adam was stubborn. I loved the story about Gigi and the land fight with the neighbor Bea. And of course Dawn and Adam are hot together! The whole story was great and a lot of fun!

I would recommend this book if you like a great story, some fun characters, a cool and original plot, a love story and puppies!

This book was okay. I liked Dawn, and enjoyed hearing about her service dog training business she had with her sister. I thought having a blind rancher for a love interest was new, different, and enjoyable.
The story was funny, and the secondary characters were enjoyable. That being said, there was a lot of description lacking here. It was hard to tell if Adam and Dawn really were having a secret affair, or if Dawn was joking about it. I honestly still have no clue and I read the whole book. I needed more showing via description.
I liked that Dawn was the one to have a grand gesture, though. That was a nice change of pace. However, I don't see myself going back and reading the rest of the series.

Though this book is #3 in the series, it can be read as a stand alone novel.
There is a lot about this book that is appealing, the precocious puppy, the wounded hero, the budding romance all work together to create a cute and satisfying romance. I quite enjoyed this novel and look forward to more from Lucy Gilmore, especially if they have a cute puppy on the cover!

Adam and Dawn were so incredibly cute together. The fun story gives you plenty of feels with lots of emotions and heat. I found the story engaging and I loved the sparks that flew with every interaction that this couple shared. The addition of some drama, tension and adorable, heart stealing puppies just makes it all more enjoyable!! I really liked it.

This was my first book by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. Dawn is a character that makes you root for her right from the start and steals your heart along the way. Adam is the perfect fit for Dawn but that didn't stop me from wanting to shake him from time to time. Throw in a sweetheart of a puppy, a sturdy great Dane, a cow named Dawn, a grumpy neighbor and two hearts meant for each other and you've got a wonderful read.

I almost love reading any puppy romance books. They are always the cutest to read because who doesn’t love puppies. Anyway, we read about Dawn Vasquez's story in Puppy Kisses.I am kinda hesitant about Dawn. I don’t know if it is her personality that I do not like or her actions throughout Puppy Kisses. I just do not like her at all. I find myself being too hard on her. I really feel like she needs to grow up more. Stop being reckless especially if it costs people such as Adam Dearborn.Surprisingly, I enjoy Adam's character very much. He accomplished so much with his blindness. It does show that you can do anything with your mind to it. And it does help when you gain a puppy friend. He may not have wanted the puppy at first but he is totally drawn that he won’t let go even for Dawn.Dawn may be attracted to Adam but I just wish it was someone else for Adam. I’m just not cool with Dawn as a character. She needs to grow up a bit.

I'm a huge fan of Lucy Gilmore as I love her style of writing and her humor.
Her books always made me laugh and root for the characters and this one was no exception.
Her characters, both human and canine, are always well thought and fleshed out and you cannot help rooting for them and enjoying their antics.
I loved Dawn and Adams and I really appreciated that Adam is blind making him a more realistic and human male characters. His strength and his personality are fascinating. Dawn is another great characters and I loved her.
The plot hooked me since the first pages and I laughed a lot and rooted for the characters. It's the third book I read in this series and I think they are all brilliant.
It was a fun and engrossing read and I can't wait for the next instalment. It's strongly recommended.
Many thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Dawn and Adam were a weirdly opposite kind of couple. He needed to lighten up and she needed stability. You know what they say, "opposites attract"
She trains puppies and he runs his family ranch.
If you enjoy a light, comedic read then this is the story for you.

Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this ARC.

First of all, THREE CHEERS for a sexy leading man who happens to be blind! And the way this author writes his blindness is perfection. It's a factor to who he is, but it doesn't entirely define him. He never bitches about it and it's never a consideration as far as his eligibility as a love interest.

The female lead may just be a new favorite of mine. Dawn is feisty, stubborn, caring, impulsive, owns loving sex, gentle, and wild! She has a positive attitude, but is not a Pollyanna. I absolutely loved her.

This story is well-written, if a little slow at parts, and you are rooting for these two from page 1 until the end! The only fault to be found was there is a lot of mention of the two leads having had a few sexual flings before, but the reader never finds out why this started, how this started, and why it hasn't continued. It makes no sense based on their behaviors now. It's a part of the story that either needed to be fleshed out or left out completely.

This story had great side characters, a few laughs, seriously steamy scenes, and is a very good read.

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

A fun addition to this great series! I loved the characters in this, both human and canine (and even bovine). I thought Adam's vision impairment set this apart from the typical romance. It's something I have enjoyed about the whole series - people with a disability/risk factor and the service dogs who help them. While Dawn comes across as a "what you see is what you get" person, it becomes obvious that some of this is because she believes people expect it of her, so she sinks to that expectation even when she wants something more or deeper in her life. This is the sort of romance where one frank conversation would have solved most of the issues, but then what fun would that be! I enjoyed the epilogue that pulls the three books in the series together with a great laugh at the end.

Fans of the series, and fans of animal-centered stories, should not miss this one! (Language, sex)

The story was very cute. Gigi and Uncle were match makers with fur. The neighbor of Adam, Zeke and Phoebe was a real stinker. Adam lost his sight when he was young...but has never let his disability hold him back from running his family's cattle ranch.

Dawn has always felt she was not worthy of love...everyone loves her but most one had ever wanted to keep her forever. Dawn and sisters train dogs. Diane's sisters have each found their forever love, leaving Dawn to keep the kennels warm, the animals fed and happy at night.

Dawn stole an abused golden retriever puppy from a A##hole of a man. This man had chained the puppy outside with a heavy chain, no water and no shelter from the heat. Zeke and Dawn are racing to get away from the scene. The man races to catch them in his truck that has seen better days.

Diawn and Adam have each fallen in love with the other...Adam doesn't want to force Dawn to live on the farm, she doesn't want to force herself on a man who doesn't want her.

Bess own ths property between the two warring ranches. For years each rancher has tried to buy her land so that they can expand their ranch...she has always held out on selling it.

Dawn has agreed to help Bess, as long as she is allowed to live on the ranch.

I don't want to give the story away....there is crazy mixed up cow in the story that keeps escaping from the ranch.

The perfect combination for animal loving, romance readers! I adore this series and it always leaves me with a smile.

I had enjoyed reading the first two books in the Forever Hope Series by Lucy Gilmore. So naturally I was looking forward to reading the third book, Puppy Kisses. Dawn is the middle sister. Her older sister is the serious one, the baby sister just needed to be taken seriously and Dawn goes out of her mind to avoid seriousness. I knew her story would be different but counted on the dogs who are such important characters in the series to keep Dawn’s feet on the ground. Not sure I always agreed with her actions but I did agree with her heart.

Since her sisters had found their total opposites to fall in love with, it is not surprising that Adam is also the opposite to Dawn. He is the calm while she is the storm. In every life a little rain must fall. What they do agree on is one puppy named Gigi and their mutual attraction to each other. Dawn tries to keep it light but you know how that is going to go. Puppy Kisses is an incredibly fun finish to this sisters’ series.

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Puppy Kisses is book three in the Forever Home series from Lucy Gilmore that centers around three sisters. I have really enjoyed the series as a whole, and was excited to read Dawn and Adam's book.

Lucy Gilmore's writing is engaging and entertaining. The plot is a great mix of humor, romance, and fun that drew me in from the beginning. That combined with the banter and chemistry between Dawn and Adam made this my favorite book in the series.

I am looking forward to seeing what Lucy writes next.

Wow, this was an another amazing story. It was a wonderfully well written romance with amazing characters. The story flowed seamlessly in this character driven storyline. Adam and Dawn were endearing characters and I loved Gigi. If you like well written romances or stories about adorable puppies, or just amazing stories in general, then you will love this book. I love this amazing series and I would definitely recommend all three books. I can't wait to read the next one.

I liked Dawn and Adam’s weird relationship vibes- the hot and cold did drive me bonkers after a while- but they took a back seat to Gigi, the disobedient, too cute for her own good, absolutely lovable rescue (okay so Dawn stole her from the cruddy, mean owner, but that’s semantics) golden retriever! Sorry guys, but when a dog dominates every page she pops up on...

Uncle, a sweet Great Dane and Adam’s actual guide dog, was just as cute, dealing with Gigi’s antics and crazy personality.

Final thoughts: I enjoyed the first two books of the series, but Dawn’s story fell shy of the mark. The book was still a good read, but the delivery took a good while to come about, leaving me perturbed with the end result.

Puppy Kisses is the third book in the Forever Hope series and can easily be read as a stand-alone.

I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley/Sourcebooks and this is my honest review.

This is actually the first book I have read in the series and will have to go back and read the others now as I enjoyed it soo much! Dawn is a total crack up, she is smart, determined and a gluten for punishment with wanting to see those she loves happy but deflecting from herself while Adam is gruff, laser focused on the ranch and doesn't like change for obvious reasons. I loved how the story unfolded and we got to know more about Dawn and Adam and their almost love hate relationship, include some cute puppies ie Gigi and Uncle.. oh and a sassy and slightly crazy neighbor then you get a story you will be sucked into from the get go and be gutted when you get to the end as you don't want to leave Dearborn Ranch!
