I laughed so hard with this book. I love how Lucy Gilmore gives a voice to romance with someone that is blind. It was fun and it was a real and raw experience. The romance of the two characters was relatable and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I’m so happy I was given the chance to read the 3rd book in this series! I just adored the other two! This one was just so sweet with a little bit of sexy on the side! Dawn is kind of a wild child but has a big heart! She believes that love and relationships are meant for her. Dawn also helps her two sisters with their puppy business. Adam, our hero, is a rancher who is blind. He likes order and honesty. Dawn comes to his ranch in a pickle over a puppy she rescued saying the puppy will be Adam’s new service dog. Well let me tell you...these two go through quite a bit with this cute puppy and another service dog who’s actually perfect for Adam’s needs! I loved the banter and chemistry between these two!! They also have a sexual past. Adam and Dawn both want love but don’t think they will find it. I just adored our outgoing heroine and grumpy hero! A perfect match! I think this was a cute story and highly recommend you take a chance on it!

A heist, a chase, sweet puppies and lots of fun and sexy times will have readers laughing out loud and loving this story.

Dawn Vasquez had the heist planned out. She had her partner-in-crime Zeke Dearborn as her able accomplice. The loot was gold, a Golden Retriever puppy that is. Dawn had passed by this poor puppy chained up with a big heavy chain that looked to weigh more than the poor puppy, who had no access to shade in the 100 degree temperatures or shelter from the rain, several times. She knew she had to rescue the poor baby or she wasn't worthy of being part of the Puppy Promise training facility. They got in, got the chain off and were about to escape when a dirty old man who lived in the house on the property where the poor, abused puppy prisoner was chained came to the front door of the house trying to pull his pants on and site his shotgun at them at the same time. Oops! Time to rush their escape. They got in Dawn's car and took off with No Pants Shotgun in hot pursuit. Just as they lost him the the sheriff's car, lights flashing, pulled up behind them. The only excuse for speeding they could come up with was the puppy's precarious condition making the pup's need to get a vet's care stat. Saying the puppy was to be a service dog for Adam Dearborn kinda got them off the hook except the sheriff insisted on escorting them to the Dearborn Ranch and that meant facing Adam Dearborn. Yes, that Adam Dearborn, the one Dawn shared a dirty little secret with. This was not going to be pretty.

Adam Dearborn lost his sight as a youngster but had adapted quite well. As the oldest Dearborn sibling he raised his younger twin brother Zeke and sister Phobe since the death of their father when the twins were fifteen. He has run their cattle ranch with their help since then. Ranch life is not easy and certainly not a nine-to-five job, but working this ranch is Adam's life. He wouldn't have it any other way. When he first met his brother Zeke's friend Dawn Vasquez he was floored. No woman had ever made such an instant impression on him and the sexual attraction was over the top. Stolen moments of carnal knowledge was the highlight of his life but he's sure someone like Dawn would never want to be a rancher's wife. This was no life for her. But he sure did love the Golden Retriever puppy she brought into his life.

I loved the first two books in Lucy Gilmore's Forever Home series, Puppy Love and Puppy Christmas but this one, Puppy Kisses, is my favorite. Dawn was always known as the party girl of the three sisters but she is so much more. Her charm lights up the lives of the people around her and she has the biggest heart in the world. Adam is the epitome of the sexy hunk of a man who hasn't let the loss of his sight hold him back and is strong, dedicated and caring. He sings to his cows to calm them down. What a guy!

The dialogue in this book is what makes it so outstanding. The quips back and forth between Dawn and Adam are filled with provocative sexual innuendo while they flirt with each other and this made me smile all throughout the story. Ms. Gilmore's voice is so attractive to me in this type of story. Her writing style is the perfect blend of serious and fun. This seems to be the end of the series as all three sisters have found a HEA. I can't wait to see what Lucy Gilmore has in store for her readers next.

Puppy Kisses by Lucy Gimore is the 3rd book in her fun enjoyable Forever Home series. Dawn Vasquez, our heroine, is the middle sister, of the three sisters who run Puppy Promise, a service puppy training school. The story begins with Dawn, and her friend, Zeke, rescuing an abused, chained, sickly, starving puppy golden retriever, and escaping from the terrible dog owner. The local sheriff stops them for speeding, and they falsely explain they are bringing the puppy to Zeke’s brother, Adam.

Adam Dearborn, our hero, runs the Dearborn ranch with Zeke and his sister, Phoebe. When the sheriff follows through about the puppy, Adam does go along with the ruse, and has the local veterinarian visit to check on the poor puppy. But Adam decides to keep the puppy, much to Dawn’s chagrin (she was planning to nurse the puppy back to health and be her pet), but Adam loves to push Dawn’s buttons and keeps Gigi, even if the puppy is not meant to be a service dog.

Adam and Dawn have been attracted to one another, but neither looks at this being a permanent relationship, especially as they are night and day opposites. Adam is serious, organized and totally dedicated to his ranch and his family. Dawn is the wildly fun-loving free spirit opposite, always bubbly and pushing herself into everyone’s lives. Dawn will bring ‘Uncle’ a great Dane to the ranch to prove to Adam that this is the dog that is trained to help him, but Adam, realizing that the great dane was perfect for him, he still refused to give up Gigi. I really did enjoy the antics between Dawn and Adam, though early on it was a bit frustrating; as Adam felt that Dawn was not meant to a dull life on a ranch, and did his best to try and stay clear from Dawn, even if he was beginning to fall hard for her.

Puppy Kisses was another sweet, fun heartwarming story, with a great couple, fantastic secondary characters, such as Lila, Sophie, Zeke, Phoebe, Bea, Marcia. But most of all, I absolutely adored Gigi, who as she recovered from her ordeal, fell in love with both Adam and Dawn, not to mention Uncle. Those moments with the dogs was so much fun, and smiles.

Puppy Kisses was so very well written by Lucy Gilmore. The three sisters were wonderful heroines, and I loved how close they were to each other. If you love puppies, and a sweet romance, you need to be reading this series. I for one enjoyed all three of the books in this series.

Puppy Kisses is the third in the Forever Home series by Lucy Gilmore. The series is about three sisters who run a business training and placing service dogs. Puppy Kisses features free spirited middle-sister Dawn and opens with Dawn and a friend stealing a puppy from the backyard of a house where it is being abused and neglected. When they are stopped during their getaway by the local sheriff, Dawn lies and says that the puppy is a service dog for her friend’s brother Adam, who is a blind rancher. The sheriff follows them to the ranch where Adam immediately falls in love with the puppy. Dawn wants the puppy for herself as a pet because she has been lonely since her sisters have moved out of the house where their business is located. She brings another, much more suitable puppy to Adam’s ranch and will work with Adam daily to train both puppies. Prior to this, Dawn and Adam had been having a casual affair. Being together every day causes their relationship to deepen, but neither thinks that they will fit into the other’s life.

Of the three books in the series, Puppy Kisses is the strongest. The relationship between Dawn and Adam is explored more deeply than the relationships in previous books. I appreciated that it featured a blind hero, which is rather uncommon in romance novels. I also liked that the author fully fleshed out both Adam and Dawn and that the reader gets to see the reasons behind the ways each interacts with the world. I think that fans of older Kristan Higgins novels would like this series.

I received a copy of this story from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series but this one is hands-down my favorite. As usual with Lucy Gilmore's writing, all the parts blended seamlessly and functioned well together. There was enough puppy training to keep me entertained, enough romance for it to be steamy, and enough novelty to keep me reading until 2am. But there wasn't too much of any one element. It was exceptionally well-balanced.

This installment almost felt like a character study. We learned more about Dawn and her inner workings than I feel like we did with her sisters. She is so confidently, wildly, unapologetically herself but not emotionless. I'd love to be friends with her! I will say that I didn't like how Lila was portrayed for most of this one, though. While it got better at the end, the rest felt like we had regressed and were ignoring everything from Puppy Christmas (Lila's story).

I liked the romance and romantic arc in this one more than the others. It was more unique and, I think, more authentic. I appreciate the realness, the chaos of it all. I think that's what made me fall for this one more than the others.

I will be recommending this to everyone!

A great read! Draws you in from page one and could not stop reading! This was my first Lucy Gilmore book but quickly went and read the other Forever Home books. Definitely adding Lucy Gilmore to my must read authors list.

Puppy Kisses is the third book in this series about three sisters who run Puppy Promises, a service-dog puppy training business. The oldest and youngest sisters had their stories in the first two books. This one is Dawn’s story. Dawn is a free spirit who has been attracted to Adam since she first met him. Unbeknownst to her, Adam has felt the same way about Dawn. It takes two adorable puppies to help Dawn and Adam overcome the things that keeps them apart.

While I preferred the first two books in this series featuring Lila’s and Sophie’s stories, I somehow found Gigi the Golden Retriever and Uncle the Great Dane, the two puppies in Puppy Kisses to be more endearing than Bubbles the Pomeranian and Jeeves the Cockapoo, the puppies in the first two novels. There are lots of laugh-out-loud humorous situations making this an enjoyable, fast read. (I especially liked the antics of Dawn, the cow.)

This was such a fun, sweet and memorable read. I loved Dawn and Adam. Dawn is full of energy, independent and even a little bossy. Adam is her complete opposite in every way. I thought that together they were a great. You throw in all the other animals and the side characters and you have yourself a book that will keep you reading and smiling until the very end. Thanks Net Galley. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

Puppy Kisses is the third installment of the Forever Home series. You don’t have to read the first two books in this series, to enjoy this one.

I had a tough time getting through the beginning but I stuck it out. Dawn trying to use sex appeal to get out of a ticket was just appalling. I just didn’t like Dawn. So, in the long run I didn’t care much for this story. What made it salvageable in my opinion were the dogs.

I would probably put this somewhere around 2.5 stars. The writing is good, but I just couldn't make myself like Dawn. There's always a fine line between delightfully quirky/independent minded and selfish/self-centered and Dawn just falls too far on the selfish side. She spends so much of the story thinking only of herself and what she wants that I couldn't figure out why people liked her so much. Adam is fine as the other half of the romance, but again, I couldn't get into the love story between him and Dawn.

Thank you Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for providing me an e-arc in exchange for an honest review. My review is my own and not influenced by others.

Puppy kisses is book 3 of the Vasquez series including Dawn and Adam, you don’t have to read the first two books in this series, you can read it as a standalone. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I sure want to read the other books of her.

Dawn is full of humor, charming, playful, stubborn and everytime putting the interest of others first. It’s a character I liked very much. Adam is moody, stubborn but also sweet. He’s blind but it doesn’t makes him bitter or angry, he accepts it and moves on in life.

The writing style is nice, you get drawn to the characters, the humor and romance and it makes it hard to put the book aside.

This was a very nice read, I really enjoyed the book, it was easy to read and since I'm a dog lover myself this is the kind of book I'd like to read more often in the future. I was not familiar with this author I found Lucy Gilmore on here and I was happy to have been given the opportunity to read this book. I will defintitely read more books like this and this author;

This book has a nice story line it starts with a bit of action when Dawn the main character wants to save a golden puppy, how she goes about doing it. The theme is nice, emotional with ramance and suspense allong the read. you also get to know the family of Dawn her and her sister's family busniess "Puppy Promise" We also step in to the lives of the Dearborn family who own a cattle ranch. There is also another neighbouring ranch and then the old lady Bea with her land.

This story reveals itself as a nice swift thread of yarn and, takes us with a bit of adventure, hope and a happy ending. . Dawn is a very stubborn woman and knows what she wants, does all she can for what she believes in. How she with a bit of help is able to find the right home for one of her service dog puppies. This is where Dawn needs to convince Adam that the puppy he has met first isn't the right one for him, and presents him to another puppy that would be better for his needs. The story leads the main characters to find their ways in life even if it is not a guarantee of success. Adam and Dawn both find their strengh and force with their little/big puppies..
With these service dog pups it will give more hope for independance, less solitude and a real help in the day to day life around the ranch. For Dawn it's finding the way to what her heart wants.
So there is a lot to like when reading the book and I am very happy about having read the book!

I really recommend this book for anyone who's looking for a book containing the ingredients: adventure, puppies, romance and hope;
I'm grateful to the author and publisher to have let me read this book.. Thank you.

Stoic ranch-owning hero, adventurous service dog training heroine, the puppers who bring them together, and their loving siblings. He's blind, tied to his family ranch, and thinks he's too boring for her long-term. She's impetuous, frank, brings out the best in others, doesn't see her own value, but is always willing to make a good (or bad) sex joke.

I liked this well enough that I went back and read books 1 & 2 in the series.

For fans of Debbie Burns and Katie Ruggle's Rocky Mountain K9 Unit series; people who like Kristan Higgins but want more dog in the stories, and those who like Donna Ball but want more sexy times and less mystery.

Thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks CASABLANCA for the e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for letting me read this book.
This is the third book in this series and probably my favourite. You can't go wrong with puppies and wonderful sisters, but throw in a blind rancher who isn't hung up about it? Well, it's definitely an entertaining read.
The characters are easy to relate to, and the plot is fast moving and fun.
Loved the epilogue too.

The final book in this fun series featuring three sisters, the adorable pups they train as service dogs, and the cute guys they find along the way ends with a romance for Dawn, the middle Vasquez sister. Dawn has always been "the fun one", and is often overlooked by her family and friends because she's impulsive, emotional, and doesn't take anything too seriously. The truth is that she's fully committed to the people in her life, would sacrifice anything for them and always has their backs, but others don't give her enough credit for that.

When Dawn decides to "rescue" a sorely mistreated golden retriever puppy, she ends up in hot water and is bailed out by Adam, her best friend's older brother, a driven, responsible rancher who also happens to be blind and who orders his life rigidly in order to be able to function safely and effectively in a chaotic ranch environment. Unbeknownst to any of their friends or family, Dawn and Adam have been having occasional rather torrid trysts whenever they can find time alone, but Adam figures that Dawn is too much of a fun-loving woman to ever settle down on a ranch with someone like him, while Dawn thinks he doesn't take her seriously and would never "settle" for someone as inappropriate as her.

It's a fun ride as Dawn trains another puppy (a Great Dane named Uncle) as a service dog for Adam, while simultaneously trying to convince him that Gigi, the golden rescue pup, is not temperamentally suited as a service dog (hint: she chews on a lot of shoes!). There's also a mischievous cow (also named Dawn) who constantly gets into trouble. I loved all of the animal scenes that gave a lighthearted tone to the story. This wasn't my favorite book in the series, but it was a strong ending, and really, you can't go wrong with any of the books in this series.

Adam and Dawn appear to be polar opposites. Adam is a cattle rancher who takes responsibility for the management of his family’s ranch, so that his younger brother and sister can experience some freedom. Dawn appears to everyone to be a free-spirited dog trainer who doesn’t take anything seriously.

For some reason, they just can’t keep their hand off each other. For a while, it was nothing but a fling. But after Dawn decides that Adam needs a guide dog and is around everyday, things start to change.

Can a free-spirited woman who no one expects to ever settle down, tie herself down to a life in the country with a no-nonsense cattle rancher?

I think that Puppy Kisses, is the third book I've read with a blind male lead. It's the first where he's not bitter because of it. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. Both Dawn and Adam are as stubborn as all get-out. I loved reading this book and cannot wait to see what's next in the series.

I’ve enjoyed all three books in Gilmore’s series about thre sisters who run a business training service dogs. This one involves the middle sister, Dawn, who is a spirited, energetic, affectionate woman who just keeps going forward no matter the reception she receives from others. The book starts off with her rescuing an abused Golden Retriever puppy and by a series of events, the taciturn and blind rancher, Adam ends up with the exuberant puppy who quickly falls for her new master. Dawn herself fell for Adam as soon as she had met him and the two have been sleeping together periodically for six months before the beginning of the novel.

Dawn realizes that the new puppy whom she calls Gigi will never take to training as a service dog so she brings in a much more suitable dog, Uncle who soon is helping Adam out. Uncle and Gigi immediately bond and become the closest of pals with Uncle being the sober duty-minded one of the pair and Gigi being the exuberant and loving one.

The parallels between the human pair and the canine pair are quite obvious. Adam loves his ranch but he fears that Dawn will never be happy living the life of a ranch wife and so he puts her off. She is sick of people judging her by her surface personality instead of seeing the person she is underneath it all.

What could be sweeter than puppies and hunky guys and the women who can love and train both of them?

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley;
however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.
