Dawn is a happy go lucky dog trainer who steals a dog obviously being abused. She gives the dog to hunky straight-laced rancher, Adam, to hide it from the police and get away from the crime. Dogs and cows and triathletes abound but can Adam and Dawn come together in the chaos?
This is a sweet little book with some adult content. The characters are delightful and appealing- even the cow!
I would recommend this book to my patrons.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me via NetGalley. I really enjoyed this book. It was really well written and it just had you trying to solve the mystery. I look forward to seeing what’s next from this author.

This series is one of my favorites, and Puppy Kisses doesn’t disappoint. The Vasquez sisters own Puppy Promises, a company that trains service puppies, and Dawn is the last one to find love. She’s been having a fun, sexual relationship with her friend’s older brother for the past six months, but they’ve been keeping it quiet. When Dawn and Zeke get pulled over for speeding after she stole a mistreated golden retriever, she says the puppy is going to Adam to be his new guide dog. Dawn hopes Adam will play along long enough for her to take Gigi home with herself, but what follows is a game of wills that ends up having Adam in love with the puppy and hard pressed to give her up.

This book is overall low angst and is mainly a fun romp on a ranch as Dawn trains Uncle, a Great Dane, to be Adam’s guide dog and Gigi chews on shoes in her quest to be the perfect pet. There are some stressful moments and it takes Adam and Dawn some time to finally get together as an official couple, but it was a really enjoyable ride.

I really enjoy this series because it’s hard to go wrong with cute puppies and romance, and this addition to the series definitely didn’t disappoint. If you’re interested in a contemporary romance with low angst and service dogs helping a couple find their happy ending, I strongly encourage picking this series, this book up!

what a sweet fun romance. I couldn't stop reading this. The fact that it had dogs(and a cow) and a rancher with a vision problem that made him irresistible look out. Dawn was hilarious so was the cow with the same name.

I did not realize that this is the third book of a series. I was a bit worried when I discovered that, but shouldn't have worried. This book stand alone fine. It starts with Dawn rescuing a puppy from conditions that I fear are all to real. I wish a little more of the book had focused on the former owner having to pay for his crime of animal cruelty, but it kinda glossed over that. I found Adam to be a bit of a stuff shirt, but to each his/her own. this was a cute read.

I want to thank Netgalley for providing me with this book in exchange for my honest review.

This book was so humorous and heartwarming.
I loved dawn as our main character. She was bunny free spirited and pushy as hell with a heart of gold. Seeing her embrace her insecurities made this a heartwarming read.
Adam was also an amazing character and I enjoyed reading his story. He may be blind but he never let it get him down which I admired.
He was the polar opposite of dawn in the way he was very organised and dawn was more of a chaotic character.
I adored them together and was pulling for them from page one.
The plot was amazing. The various characters were all memorable and added different depths to the story overall.
This is the third book in this series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first two.
Overall I loved it and read it all in one sitting.
5 stars.

Dang Dawn doesn't hold anything back, “and I’m offering sexual escapades in inappropriate places because I like it. I thought you did, too, but if I’m wrong, I’ll respect your wishes and back off.” I really liked this book, I loved that Adam was moody.

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. Dawn is a very independent and driven woman. She doesn't care who tries to stop her she's going to do it anyway. If someone tells her no that just pushes her harder.

Adam is very buttoned down and focused. He tries to push Dawn away but that doesn't work. She is driven to get Adam and she will be as straight forward as necessary to get him to realize he wants her too.

I have never finished a book laughing but this book did just that. I love authors that take animals and make them as intricate of a character as everyone else. I will be checking out more books by this author.

Puppy Kisses is flat out wonderful. Readers’s introduction to dog trainer Dawn is during a puppy-napping. It’s to save the baby’s life so in her mind totally justified. She is open, honest, and never hesitates to speak her mind. Rancher Adam, blinded by meningitis as a child is uptight and industrious...but Dawn gets under his skin. This book is a funny, sexy, steamy, flirty, emotionally complex read from the first until the last page. Adam never stands a chance against the force of nature known as Dawn...the human one and the bovine one. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.

A hunky cowboy, a free spirit, and puppies. What could be better?! Author Lucy Gilmore has written a fun story that starts with a theft, runs through training service dogs, and winds up with a really important poker game. Siblings are important in this story, but mainly it’s Adam and Dawn. Oh, Adam is blind, and Dawn is a person – and a cow! Enjoy this one – it will make you laugh.

Never one to let the chips fall where they may, wild-child Dawn Vasquez takes it upon herself to rescue an abused puppy from a nearby home. After the police cite her getaway driver, Zeke, for speeding, she makes up a story that the dog was going to be the new service dog to blind rancher and Zeke's brother, Adam Dearborn. Adam, not willing to be another man caught up in Dawn's charms, plays his part in the ruse, but refuses to give the dog back once the sheriff leaves. Thus ensues a charming battle of the wills as Dawn and Adam strive to claim the puppy, all while possibly finding love.

This book was utterly charming, in part due to the animals' antics. I particularly loved Dawn, the stubborn cow (Adam literally named one of his rambunctious cows "Dawn"), and the older woman, Bea, whose garden was destroyed when Dawn got loose. Adam and Dawn's (the human) interactions held plenty of steam, but there was also a level of sincerity to them that added depth to the novel. I appreciated the way that Gilmore portrayed Adam's blindness not as a disability, but rather, another part of who he was. This portrayal was fortified via descriptions of his attention to detail and willingness to practice anything as much as he needed to in order to do it with success.

On the other hand, I struggled with the way that one of Dawn's "friends" (omitting names to prevent spoilers) spoke about her to others and even to her face. As the reader, we learned early on that Dawn struggled with feelings of not being enough, and was extremely disheartening to witness the callous way that said person treated her. I was disappointed that this was never addressed or rectified prior to the end of the book, even though it wasn't the main story line. Part of me also wishes that Adam and Dawn hadn't started their physical relationship prior to the start of the novel, but I don't feel that it took away from the overall progression of their romantic relationship.

3.5 stars. Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the Advance Reader Copy. I am looking forward to reading the other two Vasquez sisters' stories, which were came out before this one!

Puppy Kisses had me on the cover art and then the synopsis too. I was a little worried about reading the third book in a series without reading the first two but I didn’t need to worry at all. The story was great and I just really enjoyed the larger than life, crazy Dawn bring life back into Adam. Now I need to go back and read the first two books, bring on the love and puppies!

I was provided with an electronic ARC through NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this arc.

This was a sweet and satisfying read for me. This is the last of the Vasquez sister's series and Dawn's story. The Vasquez sisters are the owner/operators of Puppy Promises, a service dog puppy training school. Dawn is the middle sister, the "fun and flighty" one. Restless and impulsive... The book begins with Dawn roping her friend Zeke into helping her steal an abused Golden Retriever puppy from her present owner, being pulled over for speeding by the local Sheriff, and some lies told..... Sounds like fun!

It was fun! There was even a high stakes poker game. Dawn's irreverent commentary throughout kept the fun going. This gal is bound and determined to live life on her terms and by gum she's going to enjoy herself. And she manages to teach those around her to enjoy it as well. A sweet story of family and friends with some good sex thrown in for spice.

The third book in this series is the story of Dawn, who has always been the more flighty sister.

She meets Adam through his brother Zeke. They have a connection, but he doesn't think he is the man for her. He is blind and runs his family ranch. He doesn't want to trap her, even if she wants him to. Can she get him to give her a chance at the happiness she has seen her sisters find with their partners?

A great read.
