I have enjoyed all of the books in Kelly Jamieson's Wynn Hockey series so far and For the Win was no different!

Harrison Wynn has always felt like he has a lot to live up to. Due to the family he was born into, that is true, but he tends to put more pressure on himself than he even realizes. While he's got a ton of talent, there is something that is holding him back. He's been given his chance to prove himself in the NHL, so that is what he sets out to focus on. That is until Arya comes into his life.

Arya Ross is working hard to get settled into her new life, in her new city. She's teaching yoga and that is what she wants to focus on. She went through an experience that has made her less than open and the last thing she's looking for is any kind of romantic entanglement. When she's given the opportunity to teach yoga to the local professional hockey team, she takes it.

Harrison is taken with Arya the first time he sees her. While she rebuffs his advances, he decides he's going to work overtime to try to impress her and get her to go out with him. They do begin to spend time together, but will the intense, albeit in many ways sweet, way that Harrison pursues Arya going to do more harm than good due to the things she's gone through in the past?

This story dealt with real-life issues and I thought that Jamieson did a fantastic job with it. Unfortunately there are far too many women who have experienced what Arya did in the book and I appreciate that a light has been shined on it in this book. I really enjoyed both Harrison and Arya and this was another great addition to this series!

I was so excited for Harrison and Arya! We met them both briefly in previous books in the series. Their chemistry was subtle at first, given a past experience of Arya’s. It sure was fun watching them slowly simmer and then full-on boil!
But, with any story where someone was hurt and is trying to deal with the backlash, you keep waiting for the other sore to drop. Will he screw up? Will she? Will they both play a part in their possible demise?
5 stars says you should find out!!

More of the Wynn Family!

Hockey player Harrison Wynn is the oldest player on his farm team when he was called up again for the Santa Monica Condors because of injuries to other players when he met yoga teacher Arya Ross at stand-up paddleboard yoga. Harrison didn’t make a good impression the first time he met her but when she was hired by the team to help improve their flexibility because they need all the help they could get to make the playoffs for the first time in years. Arya had moved to California to get away after being attacked by a stalker that claimed she was his future wife and when Harrison said the same phrase causing all problems with him trying to date Arya.

I really like For the Win because you get more about members of the Wynn family and the problems with Harrison’s dad and the rest of the family. The main part of the story is still the romance between Harrison and Arya that still has the groveling part when he screws up trying to date Arya.

P.S. You need to buy everything Kelly Jamieson writes!

Love this series, Harrison and Ayra are my new favourite characters. Kind of ended on a cliff hanger, can't wait for the next one. Would reccomend reading the previous books as there is a lot of family information.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance read, all opions are my own.

5 Wynning Stars!

Ms Jamieson’s books are always funny, flirty, and steamy ... but I found myself crying In this book. My mother had Alzheimers and the way that Bob Wynn acted really hit close to home ... so I found this book to be very emotional. Ok ... enough of that!

Arya was such a breath of fresh air! Even though she had a horrific experience, she came through the other side and braver for it. Harrison was such a goof ball, but he said right from the start that Arya was his future wife. This has been a great series! I really like that Ms Jamieson explains the Wynn family tree at the beginning of each book ... because normally a person can forget who’s who between books in a series and this brings all the characters into focus quickly.

Coming from a Hockey family, Harrison feels the pressure of being the best of the best. When he is told he needs to put in greater effort to stay in the league he throws himself into giving everything his all and not taking no for an answer. When Arya, a beautiful yoga instructor is hired to work with the team, Harrison feels he has found the woman he is going to marry. Remaining just friends is not on his agenda, but it is not until the secrets from her past come out does he second guess his actions on and off the ice. Can the two work through the baggage they both bring in order to find happiness? Or has he messed up yet another goal he has set in his life and career? With beautifully written characters and a storyline that I could not put down this was a great book. I now need to go back and read the series from the beginning.

I love this series. The Wynn family are so entertaining. Harrison is a sweetheart and you just want to hug him. Arya is a little more standoffish. It took me a little while to warm up to her and she frustrated me at times but I still really enjoyed this book and would recommend it. A lot of fun catching up on the rest of the gang.

I loved the interactions between Harry and Arya in Win Big and couldn't wait to read how the chemistry played out. It's amazing that you don't easily see past the exterior of what a person presents and how much that often hides. Both MCs are having internal struggles and each have their own set of hurdles and setbacks within For The Win. Who hasn't wanted to make their parents proud, but constantly felt like they'd failed? Who hasn't been scared, but know that they can be brave? The growth, awareness and self discovery they each make throughout has the capability to instill so much hope for the readers that can easily put themselves in either pair of shoes.

Overall I liked the book. I love Harrison and the Wynn family, that story tugged at my heartstrings. I like Arya as well, I just wish we had gotten more interaction from Harrison and her friends, not just his friends and family and one meeting with Taj. I really liked how Everly was still very much relevant and we saw her often because I really like.
You for sure have to read the first 3 books to understand everything but it's a fun series to read on the weekends in winter with with a café Baileys.

I loved the latest Wynn hockey novel from Kelly Jamieson. For the Win is a sweet romance with lots of steamy moments along with tons of hockey.

Harrison feels like he’s the underachiever of the Wynn clan. Sure, he’s a professional hockey player like most of his family, but he’s mostly been playing in the minor leagues. This time, when he’s called up to the major league Condors, his goal is to stay. Along with lots of skating and practice time, his sister convinces him to go to yoga class, where he falls in love at first sight.

Arya recently moved to California, where she’s teaching yoga and getting her life back together after being terrorized by a stalker. She’s slowly learning to trust her instincts again, but isn’t sure what to do with Harrison’s interest. He seems like a good guy, but it takes her a while to work up her courage to find out.

Harrison and Arya are adorable together. He’s convinced they are destined to be together, while she wants to take things very slow. Watching them trying to find a middle ground while exploring their chemistry makes for a fabulous book. Their relationship develops against the backdrop of the playoffs and lots of complex Wynn family drama. What could be bad?

If you are looking for a great romance with strong, sexy characters and a slow burn, For the Win is for you. I can’t wait to see what happens next with the Wynns!

Kelly Jamieson really knows how write a romance that combines the thrill of hockey with the thrill of a new relationship. I get butterflies from both aspects of her books, and this one is no different. In this fourth installment following the Wynn family and their hockey dynasty, the hockey player Harrison Wynn and his yoga teacher, Arya, are the focus.

As with the previous book in the series, my only complaint is that I feel a little lost or rushed in some of the scenes. The dialogue is spot-on, but I don't feel like I have a good idea of what's going on nonverbally, which is so important especially early on when the two main characters are still getting to know each other (and the reader is still getting to know them). I would have liked a little more of these "visual" cues to help build character and setting.

That being said, the characters are the reason I'm such a fan of Kelly Jamieson books. They're complex and realistic, and I can totally buy into their motivations and choices. I love how Jamieson crafts these characters with desires that start out at odds, but as they learn and grow together, they become the perfect fit and balance for each other. It's such a satisfying pleasure to read.

Even though this could probably be read as a standalone, I would definitely recommend reading the other books in the series first. The payoff on some of the secondary plot is so much better having seen it develop over the first three books, and seeing glimpses of the previous characters is always a treat.

Put this one down as another winner in the Wynn family series. I can't wait for the next one!

I love this series and have been lucky enough to review them before they got released.
This one to me ahas a different feel to it. Almost like the author took a nice break. It doesn’t make it bad in fact I loved it. It had a heavy back topic that draws you into protective mode. Arya is awesome and has been through some major crap. It makes her unsure of herself and others around her. I can’t say I wouldn’t act the same in her shoes. The family drama from the other books continues here, that will be different at the end of the book. And I believe Jackson will have the next book just based on the ending. Which was an eye opening way to do the drama thing.

4.5 Stars

This series just gets better with each book! I love all the nuances of the extended family. I will say, you will enjoy this more if you have read the previous books. There are ongoing story lines that go through all the books.

Harrison and Arya are destined to be together. Arya just doesn't buy into that yet. Loved Harrison and his determination. Cupid struck and he does everything in his power to get Arya on his team.

Fair bit of Hockey in this one.l Of course, the whole family lives and breaths it but Harrison has something to prove here. Loved catching up with the rest of the bunch. Wow! What a cliff hanger that epilogue was! can't wait for the next book!

Oh those Wynn boys of hockey! Kelly Jamieson's series is a winner! For the Win focuses on Harrison Wynn, a fun-loving, enjoyable, relaxed kind of guy who finds himself intensely lovestruck by his cute yoga teacher. Arya practices yoga to find peace after a terrifying stalking experience left her scarred. The two of them find trust and love and learn a few life lessons along the way. For fans of the Wynn hockey series, you'll want to grab this book!

Harrison is such a goofball. But he's sweet and I like how open he is to trying new things, how understanding he is of others, and how hard he tries. He can come on a little strong it seems, but it's because he's so goofy really. Arya is very hesitant about so many things because of her past. She gets folded into this awesome family pretty easily, and that's just what she needs.

There is a lot of the Wynn family to keep track of, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. And I'm kind of a sucker for a good hockey romance. I don't love present tense writing, or too much unnecessary details. But I did like the storyline and it could be read on it's own but also has an arcing story going on throughout the series.

I loved Arya and Harrison from that first paddleboard yoga lesson! I’m so hapoy they got their own book, because I absolutely love them and their story! The Wynns and their ongoing saga are so good, and these two made them even better!

Another win for Kelly! Loved this one, 5 hockey pucks for it, grab it asap!
Meet Harrison Wynn, playing in the AHL has been enough for him, or has it. When he's called up to play for the Condors, the coach tells him he can be better. When he meets Arya, yoga instructor, he's immediately taken by her. He starts showing up at her classes, and while Arya likes it, she's also afraid due to what's happened in her past.
Can Harrison push himself to be better, and keep the girl and help her over her fears? Or will he run scared because of it all. Read along and find out!

The Wynn Hockey series started out a little bumpy with the amount of family member characters to sort through, but I feel like it's finally hit its stride with the third and fourth book in the series. I really enjoyed reading For the Win. I loved how Harrison and Arya met and fell in love. Both had personal issues to work through. Harrison had family problems and his hockey career. Arya had a scary incident from her past that kept her from moving forward. I loved how those issues didn't get magically better because of their love for each other, but that their love pushed them to finally deal with the issues. That doesn't always happen in romance. A lot of time the love saves the day. I appreciated the difference with this book.

I will literally read any Kelly Jamieson book at this point, but I do love her hockey romance books. For The Win was another great addition to this series. I don't think you have to read these in order, but because of the health stuff that goes on with one of the family members, I do think it makes sense to do so.

I feel like Kelly has been planting the seeds for this story for a while now, so it was fun to finally read about Harrison! And the yoga teacher, Arya. She has an interesting story, and I totally got why she was so very cautious. I also loved that she was very smart about being safe, which was understandable given her past. Harrison makes mistakes in this one because of it, but I was really glad these two were able to figure it out.

I kind of forgot that Ash and Harrison were twins until a certain plot point in this book. LOL! Oops!

I love reading about this crazy hockey family and seeing where everything is going. I really want to read Ash's story next, but I think the next one is going to be about Jackson, who plays for Chicago. I'm still excited about that one too!

If you love hockey romances, I highly recommend this book and this series!

Another winning book of the hockey royalty, The Wynn family. This one centers on Harrison Wynn, who feels he is never quite good enough. Harrison has set his sights on yoga instructor Arya and is determined to win her over.
I loved Harrison’s determination not only for Arya, but his goal of winning a spot in his family’s team, being a true NHL player.
Arya has been through a lot, including moving to California to begin a new life and finds herself being drawn to Harrison and this obviously scares her.
I love how Kelly writes her books, her characters come alive as one reads, her characters with real life issues and always a happily ever after.
