Angie Fox is one of my favorite authors. Southern Spirits is a wonderful series about a young woman who lost almost everything to her evil would be mother in law. When she accidentally binds a ghost of a gangster to her garden she gains the ability to see and talk to ghosts with his help. Her fist paying job as a ghost chaser is from Ellis, her ex-fiance's brother. Hilarity and dangerous situations ensue as Verity and Ellis form an unlikely team solving murders, helping ghosts and falling in love.
This anniversary edition contains some deleted scenes and a short story in addition to the first 2 books. A must read!

This collection of the first three stories of the series is perfect for new readers and longtime fans. Verity and Frankie have crazy adventures full of zany antics, mystery, humor, and a dose of suspense. There is a lot of charm packed into these pages. I loved the bonus content. It really is an awesome bonus for fans. You can't help but fall in love with these characters. And a few you will love to hate.

Sassy Southern humor and charm. This is such a fun series to read and I was happy to take a walk down memory lane. Verity, her pet skunk Lucy, Frankie the resident ghostly gangster all make for such an entertaining story. Everyone should visit Sugarland Tennessee and enjoy this series.

This is the exception to my usual feelings about ebook or audiobook anthologies. Included are books 1, 1.5, and 2. The perfect start to the series starring Lucy the pet skunk, Verity, and Frankie the ghostly gangster. I loved them when they first came out in audio so this was a really good excuse to begin reading them again! The bonus bits are a wonderful addition, too! If you've never read anything in this series, start here and get as hooked as the rest of us!

Because nothing says southern charm like ghosts, murder, and a pet skunk.

This box set also contains extras that any fans of the series will surely love: deleted scenes (which if you like Frankie, you need this), closer looks at some of the characters, early book covers, a map of the house and land, etc.

I started reading this new to me author and oh girl, I was in for a big surprise. Lets just say I have a new favorite author to add to my short list.
The stories are complex, outstanding and simply addicting. I started reading and couldn't put the book down anymore. I just knew I found a new fascinating genre excellent written and beautifully thought out and beautifully told. I loved the slow burn, the pace of the story, the characters and the excellent writing.
I recommend the series and the box set. 5 stars.

My Review:
The Southern Ghost Hunter Series by Angie Fox is one of my favorite novels in the cozy mystery genre. It has everything you need - ghosts, paranormal, fun read, easy to follow, and keeps you interested until the very end.

This box set contains three novels in the series. I have to tell you that I actually read the entire set in one sitting. It was that good! Angie Fox has a way of grabbing your attention and keeping you entertained with great characters and believable plots.
