An amazing look into bipolar disorder. Cheryl Savageau has written a brilliant portrait of the devastating lows, the euphoric highs of the disease. As a licensed psychologist, I've treated many patient with bi-polar disorder and their lives are often filled with chaos, mental anguish and terrifying thoughts. One of my patients described it as "standing on the edge of a cliff at midnight." It must have been challenging for the author to bring this to life, but she did a terrific job. Highly recommend.
