First off I love how the sisters are so close to each other. Family takes care of family. Autumn is resigned to being alone until hunky Tash moves back into town. Autumn always had a crush on him and imagine when Tash is now looking back at her.
Tash is trying to make a new life with his daughter Sadie. He is determined to make sure Sadie knows she is loved and wanted always. Meeting Autumn now wasn’t in the cards or was it?
Autumn I immediately connects with Sadie and slowly these three become the family they all crave.
On the side you get her sister Ember and Mike’s story. Once they communicated things began to fall into place.
Lori Foster never disappoints and I always look forward to her next book

I love to read Lori Foster’s books and this one just might be my favorite! The sisters are a hoot and you just have to love their mom. The animals on the farm and their names are so special. As are the men in their lives. And then there is little Sadie who everyone loves! Lori thank you for another great book!

In “The Somerset Girls” by Lori Foster we meet two sisters Ember and Autumn, who like most sisters I know, seem like complete opposites. But deep down they both want the same thing, to feel like they are doing something good and someone to love who will love them back. As they both navigate through life we get to come along and meet some great characters (not all human!!).
One standout is Sadie, Autumn’s friend’s young daughter. A little girl that not only stole the whole Somerset family’s hearts but that of a wayward cow, a neglected turkey and a couple of pigs. By the end of the book I wanted to keep her too.
A definite book if you are looking for a fun read with great family dynamics. I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Wow, what an amazing story! You will fall in love with these characters! Lori does an amazing job with getting you to feel what her characters are feeling, I fell in love with little Sadie who is wise beyond her age, and her dad Tash and of course the Somerset sisters Ember & Autumn! This is a can't miss 5 star story by Lori, make sure you grab this one when it releases!

Lori Foster is the queen of feel-good romances! This book is like a cup of cocoa, your favorite slippers and a warm fire. A relaxing diversion after a stressful day. I instantly fell in love with the Somerset girls. I wanted to be their best friends. They are independent, strong, loyal and real. Lori's long time devotion to pets in need is showcased in this book too! Two love stories in one book, another winner from a talented author!

Ember and Autumn have created a perfect life for themselves, using their talents in building and design they've afforded the funds necessary to turn their grandparents old farm into an animal rescue, that they run with their parents. Ember is outgoing and never misses the chance to socialize or date, while Autumn is the more reserved sister, often choosing to stay home with her nose in a book, and does very little dating.
But Autumn's quiet nights at home are about to go by the wayside, as her high school crush has returned back to town and her sister is determined to get them together once and for all! But Autumn's nights aren't the only ones to suddenly get busier, Ember has managed to capture the attention of their hired hand Mike, he wants a date and will stop at nothing to finally earn Ember's full attention. Question is will Ember let past hurts get in the way, or will Mike finally be the one man to heal her broken heart?
The Somerset Girls is a beautifully crafted story of sisterly bonds, finding love, and healing old wounds. From the very first page these perfectly drawn characters pulled me into their world, and had me feeling like I was meant to be there all along. Their love stories developing at the same time, but the way they embraced them was quite different. Ember was quick to push her sister to have her happily ever after, all while being scared to welcome her own because of old hurts. While usual reserved Autumn jumped in heart first, and had little doubts. It was fun watching these two navigate all the changes in their lives, and ultimately find the loves they deserved. Their story was heartwarming and thoroughly entertaining, once I got started I didn't want to stop! I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it's a feel good romance with characters that are destined to steal your heart!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, via NetGalley request, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! There was laughter, tears, and happy cheers. I loved seeing the relationship build throughout the book. I hope there are more books to come in this setting. I happily devour all the Lori Foster books!

Lori Foster is a master story teller and brings the heartwarming story of two sisters in The Somerset Girls. This book has it all, sizzling romance, alpha males, precocious child, humor, and funny rescue animals. I couldn't put it down until I read it from start to finish.

Lori Foster has penned another winning story! There isn't anyone who does a better job of writing characters that you can relate to. Autumn and Ember Somerset are so special. They inherited their grandparents' farm and are using it to rescue animals. Not only that but they both use the income from their jobs to supplement the farm so they can afford to take care of the animals. They also have a very strong sense of family. They built a small house on the farm for their parents to live in and designed it so it was handicap accessible. The heroes of the book are wonderful, too. Tash is smart, strong, caring, and gorgeous, and he is a great father to his 7-year-old daughter, Sadie. Sadie has got to be one of my favorite characters of all. She's 7 going on 27 and is one of the sweetest and most adorable kids in any book I've read. I love how she interacts with the rest of the characters in the book (especially Autumn), as well as the animals. Then there's the other hero, Mike, who works on the farm with the animals. There were a few surprises when it came to him. He's a major hottie as well as a real gem. Autumn and Ember's parents are a real hoot! I laughed out loud at times while reading this book. I also cried, got angry, and wanted to smack a few of the characters at times. Overall, this book was well worth reading, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a good romance with plenty of heart!
I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest review.

4.5 Stars The Somerset Girls
What a wonderful heartwarming story about two sisters Autumn and Ember. They argue, tease, help each other through stuff they each are dealing with, work together to help animals , love each other and have each other’s back.
The story has a love interest for each sister and is well written and is so seamless going from one to the other. Tash and Mike were perfect for Autumn and Ember.
The Chemistry and friendship between Autumn and Tash flowed so well. Added in the mix is Sadie Tash’s daughter she was a sweetheart I enjoyed her so much. Ember and Mike were a hoot dancing around each other.
There were so many great moments in this book, but the scene with Autumn’s mom showing Tash her “fruit” art was hilarious. There was everything to love about this special story and even though I have an ARC I also preordered the book for my Lori Foster book collection. Ms. Foster writes what I love to read. Well done as always.
I received an ARC from Netgalley and this is my honest review.

What a easy and hard to put down read! The dynamics between Autumn and Ember showed how sisters can be, annoying but who wants what is best for you. Tash and Mike were perfect partners for the sisters even if it didn’t seem so at first for one of the couples. The relationship that grows between Sadie, Tash’s daughter, and Autumn was heartwarming and developed very easily. Sadie had a difficult few years with her mother, so it was heartening to see her bloom. Ms Foster very rarely fails to deliver and this was no exception. Heartily recommend!

I absolutely loved this new book from Lori Foster. I loved the relationship between the sisters Ember and Autumn, and the bond of sisterhood getting as much importance as the romantic relationship in this book. Tash and Saide were wonderful characters and such a perfect match for the amazing Autumn. The setting of the Rescue Farm was like a character in itself, I loved all of the animals and wish it was a real place that I could go visit. This book was another winner from Lori Foster, filled with her signature blend of a steamy romance, strong powerful women characters, and lovable animals. I'm not sure if this book is a stand alone or part of a series, but if it is part of a series, I'd love to revisit the Farm and these characters again!

The Somerset Girls is another heartwarming read by one of my favorite authors. In this book, it showcases the deep bond that sisters can share but also the ups and downs in the relationship. Having two sisters of my own, I feel I can really relate. But not only is family really prominent in this book but so is romantic relationships. Both sisters find their happily ever after and I loved it all.
Autumn and Ember are completely opposite in personality and their views on romance. When Autumn’s high school crush Tash moves back into town with his little daughter Sadie, it is actually Ember who pushes them together. Autumn would rather just stay home and read. I loved the relationship that developed between these three. As for Ember, on the surface she is seen to be a free spirit and flighty, but she has a painful past. She has been noticing Mike, the hired man at their animal rescue farm for awhile but she is really looking for more than just sex. Mike is seen as this playboy, but we see him as so much more.
As much as I loved the relationship side to this story, I absolutely adored the actual animal rescue farm where all of this takes place. For little Sadie, it is a place where she really shines. And I can’t forget to give a shout out to Pavlov, the six-year old coonhound that loves this family so much! This was definitely another wonderful read.
I received an ARC of The Somerset Girls from Netgalley, and this is my honest review.

This book is now in my list of top 3 favorite Lori Foster books! I loved the relationship between the sisters Ember and Autumn. It was such a true representation of sisters. Tash and his daughter Sadie were such a sweet father/daughter team. Plus, you have Mike who works for the sisters on their farm where they home the animals they have rescued. This story ties everyone together beautifully. It is all about connections both new and old. This story was so full of love! I absolutely recommend this book!

****The Somerset Girls is a sweet novel about sisters, a precocious seven year old, her father, a bunch of rescued farm animals and a family that looks after each other even when it appears they aren’t. The writing is good, filled with insight, humor, innuendo and romance. While the sisters are as different as night and day, they instinctively seem to know when the one or the other needs a shove in a different direction or a shoulder to lean on. This was a very pleasant read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley.

Lori Foster is a story telling GOD! I wanted to be part of this funny family. Mom is a hoot, the friendship the sisters have is amazing and the animals. Man I want to jump into the pages and live. Then you add the father/daughter duo of Tash and Sadie and I fell head over heels for this book.

This book is light, funny, sexy and emotional all rolled up into one great read. Autumn and Ember Are not only sisters but best friends and business partners. Embers building skills bring Autumns incredible designs to life. They live on a family farm that doubles as an animal sanctuary. The sisters parents live in a house on the farm so they can help with their Ailing father.
Ember has been fighting off feelings for the Farm hand Mike. Can she get past her emotional baggage to see what’s in front of her?
Autumn’s high school crush Tash moves back to town with his adorable daughter Sadie. Tash hires the sisters to do some projects around his house. As they get to know each other they help each other get over past relationships. Autumn comes into Sadies life when she needs it the most.
Lori Foster has a way of writing stories that keep you wanting more. The Intertwining storylines keep you interested and highly entertained. Let’s not forget the animals that pop up and some how become main characters. I recommend this book to first time Lori Foster readers or devoted readers like me.

“The Somerset Girls” by Lori Foster is categorized as family life fiction, contemporary romance, AND contemporary women’s fiction or, you could say, a little bit of everything for every type of reader.
Autumn and Ember Somerset run a rescue farm, but each also have their own businesses—Autumn is an interior designer and Ember is a building contractor.
The two share a tight bond and a house divided into separate living quarters.
When Autumn’s high school crush, Tash Ducker, returns to town with his daughter, more than redesigning his home is in store. Her heart is about to be restored as well.
Ember has her own heart that needs mending and Mike, who works on the rescue farm, is the guy to do it.
While there is little to no conflict you’d expect in a romance, “The Somerset Girls” has scenes with Tash’s daughter, Sadie, to make up for it. I’ll admit, Sadie’s scenes were my favorite.
Ms. Foster is on target with giving us the brand of hero she is known for—alpha and protective.

4.5 stars
This was a charming read! Family and relationship dynamics are always fascinating to me and I loved seeing the similarities/contrasts with sisters, Ember and Autumn. Mike and Tash, respectively, were perfect romantic matches for Ember and Autumn, although I felt Ember and Mike’s relationship was put in for an easy wrap-up to their ending. It was Tash’s daughter, Sadie, however, who stole my heart and the show! Her innocent love and appreciation of little things warmed the heart and her resiliency in a tough situation-gah! And her obvious love of all the animals at Autumn and Ember’s place was just too adorable for words.
Overall this was a satisfying read! I loved the various relationships and connections and got a kick out of each character’s courtship. But seriously, Sadie and her flock of furry friends are what I’m remembering most because they were just too darned cute and stole any pages they appeared on.
I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley/Harlequin and this is my honest review.

I had a hard time distinguishing Autumn's and Ember's voices in the first third of the book, which made it confusing for me. It was almost a DNF, but I pushed through and eventually I figured it out. This isn't Ms Foster's strongest title, IMHO. Unfortunately, I found that it relied very heavily on tropes like high school crush, opposite sisters, single dad who adores his daughter and animal rescue... It would have been nice if there weren't so many tropes and instead just a stronger story. This wasn't terrible, but I didn't think it was great either (which surprised me as I really like Ms Foster's books normally).
