Thank you Leslie North for giving us another great book!! Storytelling at its best!! I could not stop reading!!

A story about what is important about life, is it love? Family? Your dream job? This novella looks at all of those
Carson thinks he has it all, but he is injured in a rodeo accident and then gets into a bar fight, to avoid jail he has to do community service, teaching his ex girlfriends autistic nephew how to ride
I loved the portrayal of Devon, it can be hard to correctly and sympathetically present those with autism but it came across really well, including an autistic meltdown which people with autism and those close to them will recognise
Both Carson and Karen did have times when they annoyed me, they didn’t have the best of breakups and are in denial about their feelings for each other. There is a monologue from each character, however the focus is from Carson’s side which was a nice change
Carson is so focused on returning to the rodeo and Karen trying not to dream about Carson and what they had previously. The story is fast paced and doesn’t leave much to wonder about but at times it does leave the reader struggling to catch up
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a cowboy romance but also those who have someone they love affected by autism

Book three of the McCall brothers. This story is of bull-rider Carson and his old high school girlfriend. A good story overall, and is a fun and quick read. Sometimes a little too fast, as more details would help. Minor though, and would highly recommend this book, series and author.

The Cowboy's Pregnant Sweetheart
McCall Ranch Brothers Book 3
By:Leslie North

📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

Is Love Enough?

In book 3 of the McCall brothers series we have high school loves and childhood besties Karen and Rodeo cowboy Carson. He left and never looked back? She never told him about a major event that has hurt for years. But even with all the hurt she knows that Carson can give her autistic nephew something special by teaching him to care for and ride horses.

The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shocking moments. I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Authors Blurb: Karen Peterson has always known the rodeo was Carson McCall’s first and only love. She got proof of that when they were eighteen and he left her brokenhearted to join the rodeo circuit. She never got the chance to tell him she was pregnant and never told him she lost the baby. Nine years later, he’s back home at the McCall Ranch nursing injuries from a bull-riding accident. When she sees him, she has a wonderful idea. Her sister’s autistic son, Devon, wants to learn to ride, and Carson is the perfect man to teach him. But Carson turns her down flat. Until the consequences of a barroom brawl require community service…teaching Devon to ride. Though Carson is the only cowboy she’ll ever love, she can shield her feelings for the sake of her nephew, even if Carson still makes her heart feel like it’s on a bucking bronco. So when she realizes she’s pregnant again, she’s terrified he’ll leave.

Carson is completely at odds. All he wants to do is heal and return to his life, despite his doctors telling him he’ll never ride at the same level again. He hates that he’s not the man he was, hates that everyone pities the washed-up has-been rodeo star. The only bright part of his day is the hour he spends with Devon and Karen. Carson never forgot her, never really got over her. She’s still the girl he loved when he was just a kid, only she’s even more beautiful now. As they spend time together, it’s hard to resist their deep attraction, and in the end, they give in to it. Still, the lure of his first love the rodeo is strong, and when his doctor clears him to join the circuit, he’s happy just not as happy as he’d thought he’d be. And when he learns Karen is pregnant, he’s torn even more. Could it be that the rodeo isn’t the only thing that matters anymore…?

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

Third and last book of this series. I actually enjoyed this book best of the three. It does nave a few quirks that should have been worked out before publication. A good, easy read.

I enjoy this author so much. That being said, this hasn't been my favorite series of hers. This book was the best of the three though. It's a short and sweet second chance romance. I would have liked to see more spunk from Karen. These are such quick stories that the character redemptions come a little too quickly to be believable.

The Cowboy's Pregnant Sweetheart is a short and sweet romance story, a feel good book that can act as quick fix for any bad day.
The story blurb gives away the entire story so I won't repeat it, there is absolutely no mature content or violence in the story so anyone teen/adult can read it.
But, I wanted an angry and heartbreaking confrontation to occur before the ultimate happy ending but the readers are not given that privilege. Instead, we get to see how both the characters understood their own mistakes and accepted each other without much fight. While it is extremely sweet and all, I wanted Karen to shout and say that it was not easy for her either.
Nonetheless, it's a good happy ending book enjoyable by all.

Carson McCall returns to the family ranch and after getting in a fight, is sentenced to community service arranged by Karen Peterson, his former girlfriend. He will be teaching Devon, Karen’s autistic nephew, how to ride. Years ago, Karen was pregnant with Carson’s baby when he left for the rodeo circuit and never got the chance to tell him before losing the baby. Now being with Carson while he teaches Devon, brings back the attraction they once felt for each other. She never forgot him and maybe there is a second chance for them…until he tells her he is leaving again. Carson’s interaction with Devon was nice, but all in all he came off as selfish and not quite grown up. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. The third and final book in the McCall Ranch Brothers, The Cowboy's Pregnant Sweetheart completes the series out perfectly. A heartfelt read of two peoples journey difficulty and finding their way forward. I enjoyed this and recommend this book and series

A wonderful second chance for Karen and Carson! Romantic with touching moments. No overboard sexy times. A nice end to the trilogy.

So it seems that Carson is the stubborn McCall brother. He's also quite slow when it comes to females. Karen could have done better with explanations, but then we wouldn't have had this wonderful book.
