I had a hard time with this one. I didn't find the characters to be all that special or relatable. This is definitely a pass for me.

A quick , very entertaining read. The writing and characters had me quickly engrossed & I kept turning pages to way past bedtime.
The blurb is accurate & outlines the story well. Rose is sweet and rather proper and heck but there’s a lot of rather risqué conversation between her & Owen. The double entendres were humorous (totally unintended on Rose’s part) as was poor Rose’s frequent blushing – that had Owen totally charmed.
Not only is Owen funny and kind and forthright, he’s also a man of integrity, so totally opposite from Rose’s scumbag ex. The relationship between Owen and Rose felt natural and not in the least rushed – great writing by the author.

One night. A man who knows how to please. A woman who will discover what's underneath all the layers.
A fun steamy read that is perfect for a quick bookcation.

I had high hopes for this book based on the description of the book but as I began could not relate to the characters or plot. I skimmed ahead and read portions and the end but never really felt willing to invest in reading it from beginning to end and for that reason feel it would be unfair to write a review for the book. Thank you for the ARC but this book was not for me. DNF

I recieved a free copy from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I liked this book overall. While this part of a series it can absolutely be read as a stand alone.

This book is fun and hot. After finding her fiance cheating on her in her bed Rose leaves him but she still works at his family's furniture business.
When Owen purchased furniture from a Craigslist ad he didn't know he was going to attacted to the real owner. Owen is struggling to keep his custom furniture open but even that can't stop him from liking Rose.
This is cute, fun short book.

Rebecca Brooks is one of my new favorite contemporary authors. This wrong bed right series. Really hit home. Here is the synopsis.

Rose Campbell is determined to get her stuff from her cheating ex-fiancé’s apartment. There’s just one problem. A sexy stranger is sleeping in her bed. Work boots and scruff so aren’t her type––except when they’re on furniture maker Owen Crowley, who is funny, kind, and speaks his mind.

The prim and proper Rose isn't the kind of woman Owen is usually interested in. But the more he gets to know her, the more intrigued he becomes. There’s passion underneath those stiff suits of hers that he can’t wait to explore.

There’s no reason these two opposites can’t have some sexy fun––except that one thing. Rose works for the very people trying to destroy Owen’s business.

What a fun story! Rose goes to reclaim her grandmother's bed from her cheating ex's apartment only to discover that her ex has sold what isn't his to a very handsome furniture restorer. Owen is sad that the sale is a bust as his family business could really use the money but he's not going to buy furniture that is being sold without the owner, Rose's permission. On the plus side, there's some definite sparks going on between them and having an excuse to see Rose again by offering to help her relocate her bed to the right location (her place) and fix it up makes up for the lost sale. That starts what turns out to be an exciting and somewhat complicated relationship since Rose works for a company that is trying to put Owen's home based business out of commission (ouch).

I loved that Owen is a hardworking, nice guy hero who makes beautiful furniture! It's not an occupation you see often in a contemporary romance so I really appreciated the detail about his career and how he doesn't resent that Rose works for his competition. He's happy when she's happy, even if that means a promotion that could make things harder for him. Owen lives with his dad over the furniture shop so there are some good family scenes. The sex is hot, Owen and Rose definitely have chemistry and the romance proceeds at a believable pace. Owen makes a couple of mistakes that he has to fix before they can get their happy ending. It's a very enjoyable read, and I'm definitely going to have to go back and read the other stories in the series!

I loved Rose and Owen's story and the romance between them was done really well! The first meeting between them was iconic and hilarious! And what ensues is even more delightful!

A very enjoyable romcom, perfectly executed! This book is highly entertaining, sexy and very funny. “Wrong Bed, Right Man” had me hooked from the first word to the last with a completely perfect mix of entertaining banter, seriously hot sexy times, and sweetly piercing emotion. Absolutely loved it. One of my favourite reads by this author. Happy reading everyone!

Rose moved out and ended things after finding out her fiancé was cheating on her. Now she’s going back to the apartment they used to share to get her stuff - especially her bed that she had inherited from her grandmother. Only when she gets there she’s surprised to find a hot guy sleeping in her bed.

Owen is a furniture maker who also restores and sells pieces he finds on Craigslist. When he saw the ad Rose’s ex placed - he jumped at the chance to buy the incredible bed. And when he laid down for a second just to test it out and rested his eyes for just a second, he didn’t expect to fall asleep and wake to an angry woman.

Super cute setup right? I really enjoyed the romance between Owen and Rose. However the side story about their jobs really didn’t work for me and a major conflict at a work event didn’t feel true to the characters for me. I appreciated the way they talked things through in the end.

Thank you to Entangled and Netgalley for the chance to read and review this book.

Great cover! I enjoyed this read. The heroine, Rose, is trying to look and live the life of an I’ve got my $hit together, nothing phases me modern woman. Then she walks in on her rich fiancé having sex, in her bed, with someone who is of course not her. Further complicating her life is the fact that she dumped the fiancé, but still works for his dad’s company. She’s been going to work everyday, trying to keep her cool, but it’s a tall order. When she returns to the scene of the crime to collect her furniture she stumbles upon the hero, Owen. Her first thoughts after seeing him are: Wow, he’s hot, and why is a stranger in my bed. When Owen first sees her, he’s shocked, captivated and, despite the awkward situation, not willing to give up on the hope that they might have something together.

What follows is a not quite easy road for two people who come from different worlds but have sense enough to know that what their hearts and bodies feel (in and out of bed) is worth fighting for and holding on to.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wrong Bed, Right Man is a fun, contemporary romance novel with plenty of steamy scenes and a quick read. The story is not as strong as I would hope. I feel like I did not see a lot of character development with Owen, I don't know much about his backstory or who he is; same goes for Rose. There is plenty of chemistry between them and sweet moments, but I am not sure I believed the love as much as I wanted to.

It is a fun and quick read.

Rose and Owen have a love for old sturdy built furniture and that’s exactly how they meet. But not quite how you’d expect. Owen builds furniture and is part of his family’s business. Rose has left her boyfriend and well works for his fathers poorly made furniture company. When one thing leads to another and she finds Owen in her bed things get really interesting.

He leads her to discover she’s not the good girl she always thought and she gets him to see how to be happy again. Their story isn’t with out issues and struggles but it was an enjoyable book to read.

Owen Crowley is struggling to keep his family’s furniture workshop going and is pleased to pick up some great pieces online. When he goes to pick them up, he crosses paths with Rose Campbell who is getting over her breakup with her cheating boss and fiancé. Here starts an intriguing and fun story. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this story. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Another fun read by Rebecca Brooks. Rose and Owen are just so cute together. After Rose discovered who Owen was, she knew that he would not want to associate with her, with her working for the enemy and all. The attraction that both Rose and Owen experience is out of this world. Even though Rose continues to second guess the love for her job, I am glad that she is always supportive of Owens work. Wrong Bed, Right Man was a fun read and I am glad that at the end Rose and Owen were able to have their HEA.

Owen came into the apartment to check out the furniture from a Craigslist ad. He could buy it if he liked it. Owen then saw a table, a bookshelf, and a beautiful bed. He wanted to test it out and ended up falling asleep on the bed. Owen had to make enough money to pay the bills also for his father’s medication. Rose put the key in the door it unlocked. She was a little surprised her cheating ex fiance Jason had not changed the lock. It seemed like some things should have changed to mark the fact that what had once been her home, her life, was no longer hers. She wished there was a sinkhole to swallow this apartment preferable with Jason and what her name was inside. But then she would lose all her belongings that were still there. Herbooks she hadn’t packed yet, the dresses hanging in the closet not to mention the best items: her grandmother's furniture she's inherited.Rose could live without the books, and dresses. She could even survive without her shoes, maybe. But she couldn’t give up her grandmother’s bed. It probably hadn’t occurred to him she would come back for her stuff. Rose went in to see her bed and a man was there sleeping. She woke up by clapping her hands and he jumped up fell back and the bed crashed to the floor. Rose asked who he wass and Owen told her his name and said he had come to buy the furniture on Craigslist and just bought it. He said he was pretty sure he broke the bed. Jason was the boss's son at Cube and so did Rose. Also Cube was putting out small business like the one Owen had. Owen was on the company- Cubes crush list Rose was on the team that wrote the ads to crush the small businesses. Rose was attracted to Owen. He didn’t have a body from a gym but from using it building, working, and lifting. She tried to tamp down the flutter from seeing him. Amanda was Rose's best friend who she had told what happened.
I enjoyed this book. It was a good romance but also brought in the difficulties small businesses face and the big company’s work to put them out of business. This also bought in work ethics and I really liked that also. I loved Rose and Owen together even if they were opposites. Rose needed more of a backbone most of this book. She needed to learn to stand up for herself and speak her mind. I loved Owen and his dad. I did get frustrated with Rose at times. I like the author had brought in a small business struggle to survive. I was glad Rose told Owen right away where she worked. I really enjoyed the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend it.

Owen and Rose are two people who shouldn’t work but somehow they finally figure it out. I loved Owen’s relationship with his father, but it took me awhile to like Rose as well. I’m glad I persevered and kept reading because it was worth it. This book is the third book in the series, but it can be read as a stand alone.

I expected to really like this book, but I had a lot of trouble shortly into it connecting with Rose and Owen. I liked the premise, Owen a carpenter looks at some antique furniture to purchase. He learns the furniture belongs to Rose, who’s the ex of the person selling the furniture. Her ex is trying to sell the furniture out from under her, knowing how important it is for Rose. Both Rose and her arrogant ex, Jason, work at Cube. Rose is a personal assistant while Jason is the son of one of the Cube owners. The relationship ended when Rose caught her ex having sex with another woman on her bed!

Owen is doing everything he can to keep his father’s business solvent. People are very willing to go to box store furniture in our throw-away society. He helps Rose, and they have an immediate spark. When their spark leads to sex with very little knowledge of each other, it felt really fast to me. Rose is supposedly a “nice” girl, but now she’s having sex quickly. This didn’t really compute for me. I skipped forward a bit, and found the two started to learn more about each other, but I also found Rose was a mat! She wouldn’t stand up for herself and she put up with nasty comments at work. I felt she needed to mature quickly for me to be willing to give her more of a chance. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the connection between Owen and Rose, even though they had sex.

I received an ARC of this book courtesy of NetGalley and Entangled Publishing. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely.
