This series is a lot of fun. The covers are beautiful and the titles are catchy and the authors are amazing. This one was one of my favorites. The writing was nice and it flowed well, which I had an issue with that in another one in this series.

An MMA fighter discovers the woman he can't resists is his opponents sister. A forbidden romance with a misadventure twist.

As always misadventure series are standalone reads that are best enjoyed with a cool beverage, and perhaps a fan!

The chemistry sizzles in this must read book!

This was my first read by this author, and definitely not the last. A quick read with a great story line, great chemistry between characters. I highly enjoyed this one. A definite must read!!!

Falling in love with her brother's rival wasn't in the plan, but then life is messy and full of surprises. Misadventures in the Cage introduces us to Josie and Callan's story. This book is an entertaining and sometimes emotionally charged read.

As always, I appreciate the opportunity to read and review your titles. I have chosen to DNF this title...actually, I did a while ago but wanted to wait (although I didn't intend to wait this long) to post this so it didn't impact review decision for other reviewers.

I look forward to the next title from your authors/company.

Thanks,
Laura

In this story, Josie falls for the enemy. After a hot one night stand, she fined out that her brother's opponent in the cage is her one night stand Callan. I love MMF love story but this was not my cup of tee. It had almost nothing with the sport. Their insta love didn't do anything to me and I didn't understand half of Josie's decisions. She was also not someone that I could relate to. I don't know but everything felt pale in the story and this is one of them that will be quick to fade away and forget.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

Josie Gray is trying to avoid publicity so goes to drown her sorrows in a low key bar off the beaten track, when she is rescued by enigmatic Callan who joins Josie on an adventure where they just click. She doesn’t know he’s a MMA fighter who’s due to fight her brother in the big title bout. Everyone seems to have their own agenda in order to get ahead which causes tensions and misunderstandings. Can they be honest and real to get to what they want. Pretty twisting plot with a lot of miscommunication. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this story. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

By the second chapter I was already snorting. I had to agree with Callan, that first encounter with Josie was beyond bizarre. Maybe even a bit crazy. But this sexy tall glass of cool water in a desert still went with it. Even when Callan and Josie are strangers they fall into comfortable company BUT their timing majorly sucks throughout the book. They have some fun and sexy times and some frustrating ones too (timing...). So you'll get a bit of everything and will definitely be entertained.

I have read most of the misadventures books and I have enjoyed all of them. This book was no exception.

Josie is a beautiful woman who knows what she wants. The problem is that instead of following her dream to be a chef she works for her brother. He is a UFC champion who has his own reality show which Josie reluctantly has to be on. She also serves as his personal assistant. She has no relationships and feels to guilty to not work for her brother after everything he has done for the family.

Callen finally has his chance at a Championship belt. This is the fight he has been waiting for to put him on the map and jumpstart his career in the big leagues. He has trained hard and been completely focused. All that changes when he meets the beautiful Josie. What he doesn’t realize is that her brother is the person he has been training to fight.

Do they have a chance??

I actually loved this new Misadventures book. This is a first in the series for Sarah Robinson, who fits right in with her quick wit and sweet romantic side. The sexual stuff was hot but not overly done, and I have already decided to find a copy of this book for my personal library.

I love Sarah Robinson's MMA books! Josie wasn't my favorite character. But Callan made up for her. I love Callan. I didn't really like the other women drama. To be honest, I thought it was going to go in a whole other direction. When it didn't. I was disappointed.

Callen and Josie meet in the most unusual way and immediately find themselves drawn to each other. Only using first names they share an amazing night together with hopes of another as morning dawns. The next day is filled with getting ready for the next cage fight for both Josie and Callen although on the opposite side of the cage. Josie is the manager for her brother, a champion MMA fighter, and part of the reality show their family stars in. Callen is the up and newcomer and ready to win the championship fight to put his name in the forefront. When they see each other from across the room at the first media event they cannot believe their eyes. The twist begins when they are approached to go on a fake date as a publicity stunt to help each of their careers. Little do the powers that be know about their attraction for each other and about the night they spent immersed in each other.

Callen and Josie are a couple that must make their way separately before they can be together. Can love survive the separation or will fate bring them together and allow love to take over?

Sarah Robinson has written a page-turner with some smiles and tears mixed in.

Filled with love, passion and turmoil! MISADVENTURES IN THE CAGE by Sarah Robinson is a fast-paced, hard fought journey to happily ever after for a champion fighter and the little sister of his biggest opponent!

Josie is easy to sympathize with as her out of control family shows time and again the things that drive her crazy. She never expected to meet a guy that she really liked ... much less have him wind up being her brother's biggest competition in the ring ... but life's got a way of throwing her curve balls when she least expects them.

I loved Callan. He had a good heart and was sexy as all get out to boot. Roadblocks kept going up in their way, and sometimes they let them get the better of them too much ... but I was happy to finally get a happy ending in the end.

I recommend this addition to the Misadventures series to anyone who enjoys a steamy love story that doesn't always work out along the way.

This wasn’t a bad read, it was actually pretty entertaining. My issue was that these two had terrible timing. I wasn’t a fan of the long separations, I really didn’t like the OW drama and the baby bomb that was dropped definitely didn't help.

Callan was an admirable MC. Sure he didn’t love the OW but he took the baby news like a dream. He instantly committed to being there for the baby, not just monetarily but emotionally as well. He was even a model co-parent, being there 24/7 for his baby mama, completely platonic and respectful. This was probably my favorite part, seeing how amazing he was for his baby.

But even that was overshadowed by the fact that he was sharing all these amazing memories and experiences with another woman, not Josie. Sure, he felt bad but I kept expecting him to pursue Josie just as single-mindedly as he did to the idea of be a dad. And he never did. Although the gesture was cute, I also really didn’t dig Josie doing the big romantic gesture to win Cal back. I prefer the guy doing the chasing and in this particular scenario, I really wish Callan would have tried harder to keep his girl close rather than leaving her behind so easily.

Josi and Call are sooo great together and I loooved their story. With all the ups and downs that where in this rollercoaster of a book.

Both characters had so many things thrown at eachother you just had to love them.

The writing was good and I flew through the pages of the book.

I will definitely read more of this author.

Callan Walsh is an MMA fighter and is training for a championship win. Josie is the sister to reigning champion Xavier Gray.

When they meet by chance, outside a bar, their connection is immediate and a one night stand, and a desert burial quickly follows.

The story of how they arrive at their HEA is interspersed with family drama, misunderstandings and some poor choices.

All in all, Misadventures in a Cage is highly readable and, in places, entertaining.

I love the Misdaventute books! They are cheeky, fun and usually have a happy ending. But you’ll have to read to find out.

Fighter in the cage versus fighter in the kitchen. The unlikely pair are nothing but; hot, hot, hot. Callan & Josie have a hard time making it work and have to get through kore obstacles than any normal people. But this is a story; and the story takes you on a ride.

Loved The Cage Misdaventute book. Grab it today. A must for your library
