Laura is finally back to work after her maternity leave, however, the person she hired to cover while she was gone has somehow find a way to not only become a permanent employee, but also take Lauras largest client as her own. Laura will not let Mia win. Mia has her own reasons for her sneaky behavior for though, ones she doesn’t want anyone at the office to find out about. And then there is Janie. She gave up her career, and their home to support her husband and his career, but it seems she might be hiding something too. This can’t end well…
Three women, all have a secret. The office has burned down, but everyone is staying silent on who did it. This book had me on the edge of my seat. I used to work with a “Mia” so I could totally relate to the way that Laura was feeling! I wish we knew a little bit more about Mia earlier on, but I did enjoy learning more as the book continued. This one jumped between current day, where the detectives are trying to find out what happened, and the 8 weeks before the fire happened. This was a quick read that I really enjoyed!

After her maternity leave, Laura returns to work at a successful advertising agency only to find herself sidelined by the new hire. In her absence, Mia has ingratiated herself into the workplace, with her own reasons for desperately wanting to stay. Meanwhile, Janie, the CEO's wife, grates at her husband's lifestyle. A deadly fire reveals the tangled layer of secrets of these three ambitious women.
From the start, I enjoyed the tension between Laura and Mia, as Laura becomes obsessed with the new girl who has usurped her job. Although adding in Janie was necessary for the overall mystery, for me, it served as a drag on the story. I did find it intriguing that all the girls were hellbent on each other instead of the men who were at the root of all the trouble, a fact that even the main characters realize as hypocritical. In the end, things averaged out for me into an enjoyable, though forgettable, thriller.

Mia, Laura, and Jamie. Three women who become entangled in a murder. Mia's took over temporarily for Laura, who was going on maternity leave. It's never really clear why she did this. Given how the revenge was ultimately obtained, there was no need for Mia to take Laura's job. An insane battle between the two ensues. Then there is Jamie, the wife of the owner of the business where Mia and Laura work.
He decides to try to get a contract with Miles, who is a rapist, a fact known to Mia, Laura, and Jamie. The revenge sought is against this man.
I didn't find the plot interesting. The author jumps back and forth in time and jumps between characters. Interspersed are snippets of a police investigator interrogating the women. This questioning is far from what the person could get away with legally.
So the plot doesn't make sense, the novel can be hard to follow, and the ending is just bizarre. Sorry, I did not like it. But thanks NetGalley for the ARC.

This was a page turning, thriller. Told from the perspective of 3 different women who you find are connected to each other as the story develops. The story starts with a fire and works backwards to develop the story until you find out who the murderer and arsonist is.
Interesting concept and fun trying to figure out the culprit.

So this is the second book I' ve read by this author! I enjoyed it just as much as the first book!
The pace of the book is really great! I like the whole set up of the book and the slow building of the story and the tension building between the characters. It's a great read!
Three women, one company and one man Harry.
Harry's wife who is unhappy in the marriage, and who is trapped for the sake of her daughter.
Laura who was the star of the company rising in ranks and making mountains move for the company coming back from maternity leave and having to compete or feels like she is being pushed out of her position. Laura holds her ground even though her husband Nate thinks she's overacting the whole ordeal just a tad. Then, Mia who has a never ending list of issues, most of which you don't know about until the end.
Which one would burn down the company? Who died in the burning building? Who is telling the truth? Why are the women covering up the secrets?
This was a fantastic read for me! I really enjoyed it with all the secrets, lies and obsession. Definitely recommended to any thriller lover!

Three women, lots of secrets and lies , the book opens with a fire- is anyone in the building??
This is a fast paced and thought provoking book. It deals with many sensitive social issues woman go through. I enjoyed the POV changing between the three women. Five years ago Harry Wood built a controversial building on the waterfront. Many residents were not happy about it being an eye sore. Laura is returning to work after maternity leave and feels like she has been replaced. Mia, my favorite character was hired by Laura and was supposed to be temporary- except she’s still there, she is sitting in Laura’s desk and is also taking her accounts. Janie is the wife of CEO Harry Wood. She resents staying at home instead of being in the court room. All three of these women would love some type of revenge on Harry and it takes a lot of reading between the lines to figure out who is guilty of starting the fire!

First line, first page, I was hooked and this book was so much more than I expected from the summary.
I loved that there was so much going on behind the scenes that was dangled in front of us sometimes but we didn't really know until much later. It made me want to not put this book down!
I loved the ending too! 5 stars!
Thank you for my free ARC in exchange for my honest review. Amazing!

Thank you NetGalley and Gallery Books for an excellent psychological thriller. The comments and review are my honest opinion.
Secrets and obsessions cross the line into revenge in this book by Author, Heidi Perk. Three women watch as a building burns and a life is claimed. This isn’t any building, it is a building that has a hold on each of them.
Written in a time line of interviews before and after the fire, it is suspenseful and twisted with an ending I didn’t expect.

I really enjoyed Three Perfect Liars. All three POV characters were very well fleshed out and had distinctive voices. I was invested in the story by 20% and raced through the remaining pages to get to The End. What a fast, fun read!!!!

Whoa what a book!! I was so excited to receive an ARC for this book that I dove right into reading!! I felt really connected to these characters and that's super important to me while reading any book. Overall just a great book to have on your TBR pile.
Thank you to Heidi Perks, the publisher, and Netgalley for an ARC of Three Perfect Liars in exchange for an honest review.

Solid 4 stars for Perk's novel of 3 ladies in the marketing world. Some of these ladies have things to hide, some are out for revenge.
Written from the views of three main characters of the story, where twists and turns are a plenty. Slow build up to a good ending.
Worth the read.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to honestly review this book.

This book was on fire - haha! Haven’t we all been in a triangle situation with 2 others at sometime in our life? You really Get
A chance to get in depth with these characters, and I really liked how the whole story came out through their different points of view - awesome ending!

Wow, wow, wow! This was one of those books that hooked me completely! I found it to be unputdownable, so tense, well written, and absolutely twisty! I love the whodunnits that really keep my brain spinning, even after I finish, which is exactly what this book does! Perkins is an author I’ll be watching, as I need more from her! I loved the revenge aspect, the multiple POV, and never ending lies! Looking for the perfect whodunnit to get your brain working double time? It’s this one right here!
I’ll make sure to buzz around and use low Amazon reviewer number on release date!

A suspicious fire with three women suspects and a silly twist makes for a “Big Little Lies” wannabe.

How mad do you have to be to exact revenge on someone? How far are you willing to go to make someone pay for a mistake? Enough to suffer the consequences? Enough to commit arson and murder?
Three Perfect Liars tackles these questions in a big way. Morris and Wood is an advertising agency in southern England. The book opens with the modern glass building burning to the ground and a body being removed on a stretcher. Three women stand across the quay from the building and watch it burn.
Laura is an account director at Morris and Wood. Everyone in the office has made the assumption that she’s sleeping with her boss - which couldn’t be farther from the truth. Laura is pregnant and headed off for maternity leave for six months, which means she needs a temporary replacement. In walks Mia, with decent credentials and no plans to try to take over Laura’s job. Exactly what Laura is looking for.
Until Laura returns from her maternity leave and finds that Mia has got the entire office and Laura’s clients wrapped around her fingers. Where does that leave Laura? Mia clearly has ulterior motives, but what are they? Laura becomes obsessed with finding out.
Janie is the wife of Morris & Wood’s CEO, Harry. Harry decided to branch off from the London office and bring his family to a more countrified and idyllic place. Or so it would seem. Janie is supposed to be the one living the perfect life out here in the burbs, being a stay at home mom and raising her two daughters. But everything is about Harry and Janie is fed up. Janie gave up a promising career to be here for Harry’s latest whim. Things just aren’t working out the way they were planned.
It’s a good whodunit from three different POVs. Janie, Laura, & Mia all have reasons to be the ones who caused the fire, but so do the townspeople and several others along the way. The novel is compelling in so many ways - showing the misogyny of the advertising business, old school male friendships, and vengeful women who have had enough.
Quite a good read I must say.

This book is a mystery from beginning to the very last page. Three women, Janie, Mia and Laura, are all entrenched in a story that takes place in an ad agency that is owned by Janie’s husband Harry Wood. Mia and Laura work at the agency. From the first day that Laura comes back to work from maternity leave, she can’t understand how Mia- her replacement- isn’t leaving. We learn a lot about the three women., never expecting the answers they find.
Very intriguing. I finished it in two sittings.

Three Perfect Liars starts with a fire at the office building of Morris and Wood's. Their are three women that have reasons for setting the fire. Laura returns to work from maternity leave and finds out her temp, Mia, is now full time and has taken over her largest client. Mia is the new employee that took the job to get close to the CEO. Finally, Janie is the wife of the CEO who gave up her career to support her family. The book gets into the stories of these three ladies and why they may want revenge.
The story kept my attention and was a quick read. This would be a good vacation read that is light and keeps you wanting to find out the stories of ladies.

Heidi Perks knows how to deliver a stunning thriller! I love her style of writing. The story is mainly about the lives of three women. At the beginning we do not know how their lives connect, but it becomes clear, little by little, through each chapter. Laura is married, just had a baby, and is going back to her old job, she thinks. Mia has , Laura thought, temporarily taken over her job till she returns. But when Laura returns Mia is still there. Janie is the boss’s wife, who has her own secrets and does not mix with her husband’s staff. The office building burns down, who did it?
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Following the burning down of an advertising agency in Britain's southern coast, one which resulted in a individual leaving the building in a body bag, the police have a surplus of suspects.
Laura: Just back to work after a six-month maternity leave, Laura is dumbfounded, and deservedly ticked off, that her main account has been reassigned to the woman temporarily covering her job. As if leaving her newborn baby to work long, grueling hours isn't enough, Laura also finds herself feeling pushed aside and out of place in her once happy work environment. She vows to get to the bottom of her boss's very controversial decision.
Mia: Ulterior motives abound with this gal. After blatantly lying during her interview to temporarily gain access to Laura's desk during her maternity leave, Mia has a crazy, hidden agenda.
Janie: The wife of Laura and Mia's boss, Harry, Janie, a former defense barrister, has many secrets of her own...and a lot to feel guilty about.
Three women. Endless secrets. Much deserved revenge.
Told from alternating perspectives, including those of the three women, the story also depicts the police interviews with various employees following the devastating fire. The characters were very well fleshed out, and the misdirection was brilliantly written, yet something about this story didn't come together for me. It wasn't a story I was excited to pick up and read, although I was intrigued about the identity of the arsonist. I had a vague idea of how the story might go, and I was partially correct, but I was never able to fill in all the blanks. So that's a win.
Overall, I'd rank this book as fairly average, but that book cover is freaking fantastic.
**Many thanks to NetGalley and Gallery Books for my review copy.**

Another addictive psychological thriller from Heidi Perks. Drawing you in to a whodunit tight plot. Three women watch as a body is pulled from an office building fire. All three women have secrets. It appears to be twisted game of office politics but takes a dark turn. Lies and secrets are laced throughout making way for a late-night-read. I was sure I knew what had happened who was lying and why but was completely wrong. When the ending is revealed you realised how cleverly this story has been told. Already looking forward to Heidi's next novel!
