A MC president falls for a girl 5 years ago and asks her out every year and is told no until the 5th year. Little do they know that their lives are about to change in one night. Can these two unlikely people deal with all that comes their way and figure out how to have a life together? Or will it be too much to overcome?

Chantal Fernando always delivers a great MC book and Temper is no exception. She keeps the rider hook and will not let up till then end.

This is my first book by the author but definitely not my last. I loved it! It’s different than most MC books I’ve read. I like how this MC is truly more like a normal family. You still had action & romance. I actually liked how Abbies dad comes into the picture & love how he is with the girls & the MC. Great book!

OMG the king has found his queen to rule by his side. I have fallen in love with Chantal Fernando’s MC series and I cannot get enough of them, but this new series just gets better and better. Temper travels through the small town where Abbie’s family far is located each year a few times on his way to rallies, and he has been captivated by the lovely and sweet Abbie since he saw her. She keeps turning him down when he asks her out though so he has very little hope of grabbing her. Abbie has a lot on her plate dealing with her family and their business, and she doesn’t have time for dating, despite being drawn to the sexy biker like no other man before. When she finally decides to let herself have a little fun and go out with him, the night begins like a dream and quickly turns into her worst nightmare. Temper takes Abbie to their compound for her own safety, but at the same time he wants her more than any woman he’s ever met, so he has determined that he will do whatever it takes to make her is. As he shows her his world and slowly they build their connection, Abbie and Temper begin to fall for one another and have to decide if they are willing to make huge changes in their lives to make room for one another. But first the danger stalking the MC has to be taken care of or there is no chance they will ever have any chance at any type of future. Abbie is such a sweet and sheltered girl, but her inner sass and smartassness comes out at just the right times. I loved seeing her standing up for herself and making sure that everyone understood her displeasure with her situation. At the same time she was vulnerable and sweet with Temper and gave him just the balance he needed for the darkness in his life and the troubles he was facing as president of the MC. She is the perfect mate for the president of the club, caring, loving, and willing to kick ass when need be for the ones that she loves and considers her own, which includes pretty much the entire club once she decides she wants to keep Temper. I would love to grow up to be Abbie. Temper has some serious issues in his story, the darkness in his past and the issues he is dealing with for the club are weighing heavily on his soul, but Abbie is the light he needs and happiness that he has been looking for. He is sexy as all get out and I love seeing the sweetness he hides come out when he is alone with Abbie in their private moments. While he has handled so much in his past, he knows that having her in his life will make his future more beautiful and give him solace at the end of his long days running the club. Heat and passion are beyond crazy between Abbie and Temper and their passions run high no matter what is going on, though when they are in the bedroom (or wherever they land) its off the charts hott. I am dying to find out which of the men find their mates next and seeing what mischief those women to get up to in order to make their men nuts as they chase their hearts. I LOVE all of Chantal’s stories, but the Knights of Fury are quickly shaping up to be my favs.

After stopping at a bar in Nevada every year Temper has been asking the hot Abbie out and every year she turns him down. Well this year she decided to go for it and asked Temper out, she is tired of playing it safe and just wants to experience the attraction they have to each other. But the date didn't go as planned. A gunfight and a kidnapping and now Temper is taking Abbie back to his Clubhouse in LA to be protected by the club.

Lots of suspense and action and some hot steamy moments and man I loved it. Chantal Fernando's bikers books has always made me giddy when I see a new release and this one was no different. You could immediately feel the chemistry between Abbie and Temper. Loved every minute of this read, and I hope we don't have to wait to long for the next book ❤ 😊

This story was steamy and intense. The sexual tension between Abbie and Temper drove me crazy, and he was so protective of her! the plot had an amazing twist, recommended.

I enjoyed the conclusion to this series. The chemistry between Temper and Abbie was strong and it was fun to see her come into her own. Her relationship with her mother added an interesting element. Solid 3.5

his was pretty cute from the start. How Abbie and Temper met. I would like to think it's one of those life changers. Abbie worked at her family bar for a long time to help her family out. She caught Temper's eye when he passes through yearly. Despite turning him down each time her asks she finally does.

If you followed the other books you Temper and the old MC prez were close. Temper is a veteran of the MC and took over. Even with the age difference both characters were mature. Abbie is pretty much a giver and her meeting Temper was something she needed to go her own way. Both pretty good characters. Many changes in Abbie's life after meeting the MC and everyone. Temper was also pretty sweet despite the name.

This had a closure feel than the other books in the series. The ongoing drama with the villain tied up. Things were more settled. It was nice to see Abbie finally get her life back on track. This was fairly light for an MC but I don't mind. Abbie and Temper made each other better which is always a good thing.

This was a pretty good book. The story was well paced. I liked both Abbie and Temper. It’s been a long time since I read a single POV book and I think that made me like it a bit more. I’ve read several this author’s books and I’ve liked them all. I look forward to reading more from this author. I recommend.

I randomly started this book and this easily became a book I read for #ARCAugust challenge.

Okay, so we have Abbie who works at her mom's bar and every year like clockwork Temper the MC president of the Knights always ask her out on a date, everyday for FIVE years. Everytime she says no. They go through a routine; Temper asks her out. She says no and then act like nothing happens and then flirt and talk for hours.

But on the sixth year, Abbie decides to take a chance and decides to say yes to Temper. Abbie goes on a n amazing date that quickly turns upside down when Temper makes a stop at the clubhouse and Abbie sees something that she shouldn't have seen and gets kidnapped. Soon the adventure Abbie craved for has been taken up a notch on high speed. She soon realizes now a different side of Temper and how much depth he has and how protective he is over his family. I really liked also how the crazy mess they rose to the challenge.

Abbie, despite being thrown in a crazy situation, she was resilient under pressure. Shw was a chameleon in her new environment. This is a age gap, MC romance, but I loved how I constantly forgot it was an age gap romance, because it wasn't thrown in my face every other page and I really, really enjoyed this!

Chantal Fernando is a superstar- I loved this series and can't wait to read more by this great romance author!

I hadn't read any of this series before, but this one reads well as a standalone. It starts out fairly steadily and then bang, there's a shooting and a kidnapping and all of a sudden things have gone off the rails! Luckily, Abbie is the forgiving sort (I'm not sure I would have been in her situation) and was ready for something to shake up her boring existence tending bar in Nevada. So she's off with Temper, the head of the Knights of Fury MC to his clubhouse in California (after what should have been a nice dinner date and instead turned into an evening of mayhem) as they try to figure out who is out to get Temper, and why.

I liked the characters in this story, the MC guys are all decent and relatively respectful as far as motorcycle club guys go, and they aren't into the drug scene. The other women at the clubhouse welcome Abbie with open arms and they become besties as they show Abbie the sights in LA. There are some very surprising other revelations that pop up later in the story, but Temper is just the guy equipped to help Abbie through it all. Their attraction leads to some sexy scenes and the story shows them getting a well deserved HEA. It's a fun read that I think fans of Kristen Ashley would like, with some great humor to go along with the action scenes.

This was a great addition to the series. Abbie and Temper have chemistry in spades. Add in typical MC drama--action, suspense, blood shed---Just an all around great read.

Temper has held a candle for Abbie for many years. When she finally says yes, the two start an adventure neither of them saw coming. Some secrets are revealed. Romance ensues. Steamy moments that will blow you away! Overall great MC book.

Loved seeing the previous couples. Can't wait to see who comes next!

Temper (Knights of Fury #3). By Chantal Fernando. 2020. Carina Press (ARC eBook).

Abbie knows that when the Knights of Fury bike through town they will stop at her mother’s bar. She also knows she’ll be bartending and Temper, the MC’s President, will ask her out. After years of turning him down, Abbie accepts. But the quiet dinner with the hot biker turns deadly, thrusting Abbie into Temper’s protective custody and a criminal world where revenge is best served repeatedly.

I would have liked to have seen Temper, and his so-called temper, in action, but both took a back seat on this ride. As his MC family made a point of saying to Abbie that she brings out a different side of Temper, then I’m guessing the first two books show the the side not seen here. This is an age-gap romance but with Abbie I never felt like she was maturing, and for as gray of a world she enters, her moralities switched back and forth from gray to black and white when it suited her, very wishy washy.

Temper is an entertaining enough read overall. There is action and banter, but I’m still left with finding a book/author in the MC genre that truly appeals to me.

I received this book via NetGalley and have agreed to leave an honest opinion..

Every year Temper stops at the bar Abby runs, on hi way elsewhere. He sits, has a drink and chats with Abby and asks her out...and she nicely refuses him. Abby's mom owns the bar but Abby runs it as her mom has not been well. She has a sister a few years younger who she is very close to and remains a good role modet.

Abby had to sacrifice though. She was in college but had to quit to help run the bar. This year may be different as she has refused the date with Temper for like the last 5 years. She's tired...tired out running the bar with no help from her family, no social life and no real friends besides those that work at the bar.

When Temper comes through town again he stops in as usual except this time she accepts his dinner date!
Need I say this will change her life?? Even though they really enjoy their date it doesn't end as expected and Abby must now go back home with Temper so he can keep her safe.

Can he keep her safe while the violence is around them?

I have read almost all of this author's MC titles and have enjoyed them all. I alsways look forward to another book from Ms. Fernandez!

It's tough when you cannot pinpoint what it is about a story that just didn't go over big with you. I wasn't able to connect with this story and frequently lost interest. After finishing I can say overall it was decent but maybe just not the right fit for me.

This is book 3 in the series but it can be read as a standalone. This story follows Abby, a bar owner as s you can call her, she took the place after her mother. One year some bikers came by and she caught the interest of one of them, name Temper. They were meeting once poor twice a year, only at the bar and he was asking her out.
Year's passed and they were playing the same game. He was asking her out, she would refuse, but one year she decided to do it. She went on a date with Temper, MC president.
And here the story starts. When something went wrong Abby will have to decide what she will do? Will she follow her heart or her head?
I liked that this story was not oversexed as it seems like some trend. It was a good one on that level. Abby, I liked her, but nothing more. Temper - I had so many ideas about how it would show why he got this name, but I had got nothing that would make me gasp in that area.
The story overall was good but I would love to feel more emotions while reading. Or at the latest stronger ones.

MC romances are not my go-to, this book didn’t work for me for that reason. I was hoping this series would convince me otherwise, but the story didn’t hold my attention. DNF at 12%

This was an OK read. The book started out slow and picked up later. However, there was a disconnect between Temper and Abbie. Very wordy at times and skipped around.

Abbie is a bartender and tired of living in a small town. Temper is president of an mc with his eyes on her. He has come by every year for a drink and to ask Abbie out on a date. This time Abbie accepts but the end result is a dead body with her and Temper on the run on his bike. When trouble comes Abbie discovers the safest place to be is with Temper.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.
