This book was just what I needed. Something contemporary, sweet, and charming after diving into the world of paranormal fantasy. This was a breath of fresh air. I spent all day on the couch immersed in the world of Angie and Ten. I loved the progression Angie made from beginning to end. I really think this showcased the positive growth a young adult can make when given the opportunity to make tough choices and guided along the way.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an easy love story to fall into.

I loved seeing the evolution of Angie's relationship with her environment.

She gradually realizes that there are other priorities than her passion in life. That family and friends are equally important. Similarly, the phase of taming between her and Ten is cute as hell. Olivia Wildenstein immerses us completely in the romance, it made me remind myself what it feels like: the first time when you like the other one but don't know what he or she thinks, when nothing is defined. She recalled the intensity of first love, those times when we feel that there are butterflies in our stomach, we smiled stupidly for a gesture or a word of the other ...It made me dream.

I swallowed the pages because they have made me feel the euphoria of the first moments in love. It's a feel-good romance and I loved it!

Not Another Love Song I'll be honest, was your typical boy meets girl, over-comes problem, gets together in the end book. I've read a million of them, however what sets this story apart is the heroines choices along the way and the heros decisions toward his family. It was somewhat angsty, with so many honest feelings, I could (almost ) relate to Angie's undecidedness toward Ten and her closeness to Nev. Angie's reevaluation regarding her dreams and reality were on point and somewhat startling making this a book I would probably read again in the future.

Story was steady paced. Angie was likable but her passion got a bit annoying when she was putting it above everyone in her life. The part of the book that went to Angie and Nevada threw the flow of her story with Ten off a bit with me. Loved Ten and his troubles with taking care of Nev. Great book to put on your summer reading list.

Not Another Love Song is a low angst well written YA book. I enjoied the fast pacing and the well developped characters. The book is more than a romance between teenagers, is the prelude to a beautiful love story but it also tells about Angi's growth path, she abandons the fantasies of her adolescence and prepares to start her adult life with her eyes open but without giving up on her dreams.

What a sweet YA romance set in Nashville. Angie has spent her life dreaming about a career in music. When the opportunity arises for her to enter a songwriting contest being held by her idol she desperately wants to take it except her mother is not on board. As Angie struggles to convince her mom that she has the skills and talents to win the contest, she meets Ten, new to town who doesn't seem to like music. Sparks fly and new friendships are formed between Angie, Ten and his little sister. I enjoyed this story set in the backdrop of Nashville and found the characters to be adorable together. This was a quick, sweet romantic read with a lot of focus on family and friendship, as well as finding your path and following your heart. Thank you netgalley for this arc in exchange for my honest opinion.
