The version of the story provided by NetGalley reads like a screenplay. The dialogue is accompanied by stage directions. All of the stage directions are one long sentence without any spacing between words or sentences. The entire book, as presented, is distracting and over-the-top. I did enjoy the way the author tried to blend scifi, dystopian, and fantasy but there were too many distractions.

Not my cup of tea but perhaps others will enjoy it more.
