I enjoyed the look at the life of a flight attendant through this story, however, this book wasn't a win for me, unfortunately. Callie, the main character, found herself in what many would find to be an unfortunate situation. While I applaud her for making this situation work, I found some of what followed to be kind of unrealistic, in my opinion. I just had a hard time keeping myself engaged with the story and wanting to continue reading.

I enjoyed reading this book as the main characters were strong. There was humour and also sadness in it. The story was simple, you could guess what would happen.l think it is a good book to read.

Callie Schneider is a flight attendant, homebased in San Francisco, California and a free spirit. During a layover in Palm Beach, Florida she has a one night stand with Andrew that results in an unexpected issue.

The story in written in first person point of view with Callie being the only viewpoint. I would have loved to have gotten Andrew's point of view too. I hesitate between 3 and 4 stars but I am going with 4 because it was nicely written and I did enjoy it. But I did have issues. I feel this story is more chick lit than romance. Callie and Andrew didn't spend much page time together. Most of the story evolved around Callie and her job and California friends. And while I did like Andrew, I felt he was too perfect. Too agreeable and perfect to be real. Overall, it was a good book but it didn't meet all my expectations for a romance.

What a lovely and interesting story from Lisa. Although it's sad to see them lose the baby but i love the way they put in effort to grow the relationship.

I got this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book lacked so many things! :( I feel terrible for writing quite a negative review but I really didn't like the story at all.

The story follows a flight attendant through out her work, friendship and love interest.

First thing that bothered me so much was the fact that everyone agreed with the main character, that no one questioned her, that she got along with everyone, and that everything fell right in place at the same exact moment that she needed it.
She never gets into fights with her friends, her parents or her love interest. I don't think that's possible and it bothered me so much through out the book.

One positive thing is that the main character has excellent free will and does things that are maybe unconventional to a number of people. But even though that was the positive thing I wondered why was she like that? The author didn't give any insight into this even though it was the main characteristic of the main character. Did her parents have to do something with that, was it some of her past experiences, or something else maybe?

The same thing goes for her love interest. There is no depth when their relationship is described, it seemed to me that the author just wanted to finish the story as soon as possible, writing the story down without focusing on the origin of the story.

I liked the details about this kind of work and everything that goes on in that life but that is quite a small piece to make this a better review.
