I found this book a good starting point to learn about Earth Angels. I will be rereading it in the future for sure as I'm learning more about the topic.

This is an interesting little book but I ended up not really enjoying it or agreeing with the author's personal belief system. I often read books by people of other spiritual paths, but this one was not as successful for me as most.

Good, easy to understand, I believe this is a book for beginners or people who is starting on the path and still don't understand if you're starting to feel this way, this book is for you.

I like the book and everything that the author wrote about, many things I identify myself with but at the same time, I feel like I already knew all the information.. if you're looking for something to clear your mind this book can help if you're looking to find something new or more details about your introvert nature and your extreme sensibility this book can help but at the same time I recommend you to look more info around as this book feels more for "beginners."

I recommend it for sure.

This book was not for me. There was a lot of repetitiveness. It didn’t resonate with my beliefs. However I believe there is an audience for this book unfortunately it just wasn’t me.

Thank you to the Llewellyn and Netgalley for the advanced reader copy. All opinions expressed are my own.

As a super empath, I thought this book would definitely be for me, but I ended up not even making it half way through. There was something about the overall tone that just didn't resonate with me, even if I do agree with a lot of the information put forth. Also, when the author mentioned that humans can never become 'heavenly' angels after 'death' because we are completely different on a 'soul level', I really lost it. Unfortunately, this book isn't overly aligned with my personal earthly journey.

As a highly sensitive person this book really spoke to me. Am I an earth angel? Who knows... I really enjoyed trying the some of the book's activities and they made me get to know myself a little bit more. Self care is key and also nobody's perfect not even earth angels are. Learning to love yourself is a hell of a journey but by understanding and getting to know yourself a little bit better you'll end up achieving it. Also, as Brad Meltzer says "Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always."

As much as I wanted to like this book, I could just not get into it enough to discover any new information to capture my interest.

I pretty much already knew I am an earth angel before getting the book. If, however, you are not sure if you are or arent an earth angel then this book may bring you some light.

This book will explain to you what characteristics most earth angels share as well as their strengths and weaknesses. Along with that are suggestions for self care so you do not allow yourself to be absorbed by this “power” and become burned out which can become a common problem.

This book will teach you to be happy with the gift you have been given and will provide tips on how to allow it to benefit others without losing yourself.

There are several fun quizzes, Hands-on exercises and stories to help you master your abilities as well.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

This is a beautiful book with a strong meaning throughout it - Take care of yourself too!
I loved this book and found it very reflective to my own self being. The book gives you a series of questions to answer at the beginning to determine if you are an empath or heart angel which was very helpfully too.
This is the first book on this subject that I have read and I really enjoyed it.

I know our patrons with an interest in the esoteric will love this book, so we are definitely going to buy a copy or two. Thank you so much for allowing me to read it early.

I’m new to the realm of the metaphysical so willing to try anything from Llewelyn, but this was just too “out there” for me (and would be for my library patrons).

The first time I heard the term Earth Angel was from an old song by The Penguins, such an adorable song by the way! I hope you give it a listen. But I never really thought of the term any deeper than a cute song until I saw this book.

So, I'm not an Earth Angel, I'm an empath but not an Earth Angel and I've never met one either but it was awesome to learn what the author thinks on these subjects. I also love some of the ideas and exercises that are listed in this book and I've tried a few to help me and they work!

I do think this book could've been slimmed down a but because it felt a little repetitive at times but a lot of books about empaths do because the message is "TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!" over and over. Which makes sense, empaths often forget themselves to help others.

Will go live on the blog: 3/25/2020

Imagine that you're at the end of your rope as a sensitive person and an empath. You need a gentle but firm pep talk from a good friend who understands what you're going through. If that's where you are, you're in luck--that's what this book delivers.

With simple exercises and a kind, understanding manner, Are You an Earth Angel? gives a realistic look at what you need to do to take care of yourself as someone with heightened sensitivities. No, the author does not believe we are angels in human bodies. Yes, she recognizes that we are built slightly differently, from our physical body to our souls and life purposes. But at no point did I feel like this went too far out there for me to stay on board.

In terms of what's contained--well, it did feel like perhaps one excessively long blog article. At the beginning, I was unsure how she was going to fill an entire book with this subject. And a lot of it is repetitive, with one simple theme ("You need to take care of yourself!"). But sometimes, that's what we need. Especially when we've neglected ourselves so long.
