So many twists and turns, plot was very surreal! Loved the characters, Evie and Luann became my best friends as they have the grit and brains of the kind of people I like. Author wrote characteristics of the men that made me really dislike them, except for Dill. I could actually visualize the mountain scenes, New York and Valhalla! This is a book I will highly recommend to friends and family for an awesome and intense read! Nice job, Dirk Wittenborn!

The Stone Girl by Dirk Wittenborn is a good thriller that is part coming-of-age story, part women's rights (Me Too Movement), and part pathways to overcoming adversity through correcting or lessening wrongs.
At times predictable, but otherwise a good plot with interesting characters. I did however find it puzzling that in the Acknowledgements section the author stated that he most of all wanted to thank his wife and daughter for opening his eyes to the omnipresence of male violence towards women and the harmful effect it casts over all our lives. I would have thought that by now, in these times, he would have been aware of those facts on his own.
In the end, I would recommend this novel because of the unique and quirky characters and a plot that keeps you wondering what is going to happen next.

This book intrigued me from the start keeping me interested throughout each page - with a few curve balls thrown in to keep the story interesting - a classic revenge story with a few twists
