A cute picture book for kids that like scary, but not too scary, books. The little girl is never shown as afraid of any of the things she encounters and always has a plan to deal with them because of the book she reads before bedtime. It might help to talk with kids about how you can overcome fear by coming up with plans sometimes. I sympathize with the parents who just want some sleep though.
