I'm a self-labeled "dog person", though that's primarily due to an allergy to cats. I think they are a trip...from a distance...where they're not killing me.

That being said, I love watching my friends' cats and kittens online, and hearing all the amusing anecdotes. I definitely thought of several friends I would gift this book to that are cat people. Entertaining, definitely made me laugh a few times.

First, I thank netgalley for providing this free ARC, and I promise this is my honest opinion.

This is definitely a book for adults who really love cats and wish they'd know what their cats were thinking or saying even if their thoughts consisted of hating us and coming up with ways to get rid of us.

It's in the style of celebrity/lifestyle magazines with TONS of cute cat pictures, which obviously and honestly was the selling point for me. I wasn't so keen with the quizzes, but the empowerment tips and pictures had me laughing out loud. I highly recommend for cat lovers who want a good laugh.

Definitely a posh parody of a ritzy Gossip magazine for and about cats. It is hilariously funny with great kitty photography. Definitely quirky!

Hilarious! Where in the heck does the author come up with this stuff? From stories of cat litter, to cardboard boxes, and of course the dreaded vacuum cleaner. From start to finish, it's full of laughs and entertainment. It
reads like an "Entertainment Weekly," for cats by cats. It's a bit snarky at times, but that's the beauty of it.

I absolutely loved "Pussweek." I'm still grinning after finishing it, and I'll never look at my cat and dog the same way again. A great book for the cat person in your life. Five stars!

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a hilarious send-up of popular magazines & their articles, all from the cat's point of view. Great for dipping into regularly.

I don't know who the target audience is for this book, but it's definitely not me. I found it to be too juvenile for adults and too vulgar for kids. It's written like a very long scandal magazine with lots of color photos, but the photos are of things like cats going to the bathroom and not photos I'd really want to see for the most part. It's supposed to be funny, but it missed the mark for me.

Examples of stories:

Snowy Pretty Much Done Listening To Bobby's Bullsh*t" (pictures show two cats annoying each other and fighting, with a few paragraphs about a spat over a hair elastic.)

Cinnamon Rollin' (pictures show a poor cat dressed up in clothes and sunglasses shut up inside a carriage with a cover, with text about an actress/model cat too posh to leave her stroller)

Spotted! We caught Spotted Spook getting ready to drop a few nugs on a newspaper OUTDOORS! What a goody two-poos! (picture shows a cat going to the bathroom on a newspaper)

Bitch Stole My Look (pictures show dogs and cats dressed up in identical jewelry and props)

I love cats and I love humor, but this book just annoyed me. The author clearly worked hard on it and it's full of photos. That with the fact that some readers are likely to enjoy it gets a two stars from me for "it was okay" even though I personally wouldn't read it again unless there was money involved.

I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for the purpose of review.

I've been trying for two days to download this title (I usually use a kindle, but have a Mac and a Nexus) and have been unable to do so. As a result, I won't be able to review this book. I am giving it a four-star rating because a star rating is required before I submit this form—my best guess is that is how I would have scored it had I been able to successfully download it.

Cute, colorful and funny. Cat lovers will laugh at this book written for cats.
Some of the subjects include:
Good pee spots
How to find the perfect box
Things to scratch other than your scratcher
Catnip addiction
Fun things to throw on the floor

The pictures are eye catching. The kitties are silly.

This would be a good coffee table book for a cat lover.

I got to read an early ebook edition from NetGalley. Thanks!
