This is a hard book to review. The first couple of pages hooked me where there was plenty of action and enticed me to continue reading. Some of the narrative was well written whereas some of the dialogue, particularly in the early section of the book was very ordinary. It did improve as the book progressed. It was like parts of the book were written by two different people. It's clear the “bad guy” was going to get caught in the end but it's not obvious how it would happen. The story line was okay but there were parts of it that just could not happen in real life. Some of the plots could have been explored in greater detail and some parts were just “fill ins” and had no real bearing on the story. It is probably not something I would recommend to my friends that they should read.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.
