i really enjoyed reading this book, the characters were great and I found the world very interesting. It was a great start to a series, and I look forward to more from the author and the series.

This has an interesting concept where demons are corporeal and have uneasy relations with humans. There was a lot of emphasis on swordplay and a smattering of magic that would appeal to sword and sorcery readers, but the writing struck me as middle-grade and didn't hold my attention as much as I'd like.

I would recommend it for boys 10-13 and maybe a little older. Especially reluctant readers who might get captivated by the fight scenes.

This is not a bad at all and was an interesting read for me. I would recommend this if you are looking for something different to read as well.

This is an enjoyable tale about a war between humans and demons. I liked the character development in this book and the interplay between the characters. Looking forward to the sequel by Sampson.
