I absolutely loved this! I was a big fan of Jones’ first book and I think this might be even better! The story of friendship is gripping, I couldn’t put it down! I think this will be one of the top summer reads of 2020!

Slightly predictable in places and took a few chapters to get going but was an easy read with likeable characters and an easy to follow storyline. Although I may have read a lot of this in Ruth Jones accent.

This was such a comfortable book. After a couple of chapters the characters really seemed to come alive and I was engrossed.

Lana, Judith and Catrin have been best friends and inseparable since they first met at primary school. Following on from their A Levels they have the trip of a lifetime island hopping around Greece.
However, when they return to Wales, they have to grow up and then something happens that shakes this friendship to the core. Can they forgive and forget or are some thing simply too big to move beyond.

I found the characters to be so real and liked how there wasn't just one voice telling the story. We met many characters and jumping between these characters and the years, I felt that the characters were more realistic.

I will be telling everyone about this book

I absolutely loved this book and found it a heart warming and easy read.
It took me a couple of chapters to get into and engage with the characters but after that, I was totally engrossed in the story.
It’s a little predictable, however that certainly didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed the book.
This is my first book by Ruth Jones and I’m now away to read her 1st book after being super impressed with this one.

It took me a few chapters to get into this book and I considered swapping to another but all of a sudden the characters really came into their own and I was hooked. That is the only reason for dropping a star as I really enjoyed it and I read this book in one sitting. The way the book flipped between characters and the different years was really interesting as you got to see different chapters on the characters lives and that helps as a reader to become really invested in the story and the characters. A fantastic mix of heartbreak and love, I will now be ordering Jones’s other book. Thanks netgalley.

This was a good book however I did call a lot of the scenes before it happened so was rather predictable but was a nice easy read
