Filled with heat, romance and humor, She Loves Me by Meliss Foster proved to be an enjoyable read. Harley Dutch and Piper Dalton have been friends for a long time. They have shared a lot over the years, but the one thing they failed to share was their feelings for each other.

I had been looking forward to reading Harley and Piper’s story ever since the author introduced them both in the Sugar Lake series. At the start of the Harmony Point series the spark between them were evident, and I was eager for more. Now that I got the chance to read their story, I can say without a doubt it was worth the wait.

Harley Dutch is someone who looks out for those he loves and protects them the best way he can. After his father’s death he returned home after working many years on Wall Street to take over the family bar. In addition, he assisted his sister in caring for her daughters while she battled with breast cancer. Besides his family, Piper was one of the many people he looked out for despite her not needing anyone to fight her battles. He would do anything to move from the friend zone, but Piper had erected a wall so thick around her heart that neither his flirty comments or his blatant attempts at preventing her from dating other men could break them down.

Piper had an independent streak a mile long. As part owner of a construction company she is more comfortable with a hammer in her hand than make up and high heels. She does not see herself as being sweet-natured despite her helping out persons in need. Not one to have luck in relationships, she has sworn off marriage and having a family.

This book gave me all the feels. I laughed, I shed a tear here and there and sometimes I wanted to shake some sense into Piper. I had a marvellous time watching both Harley and Piper navigate their way from the friend zone to becoming a couple. I could sense their chemistry, and I loved how they grew as a couple. The journey was not without its challenges, but the result had me smiling from ear to ear. Harley opened Piper’s eyes, making her see she need not fear her feelings as he would never hurt her.

Conclusion/Recommendation
Fans of Harmony Point series will adore Piper and Harley’s story. If you enjoy contemporary romance, then I highly recommend this series.

She Loves Me by Melissa Foster
Harmony Pointe #3

Melissa Foster has the ability to create wonderful characters in believable stories that sweep me in and make me believe I am there with all of the characters. In this book I would have loved to have been Piper...or at least to have been the one to have Harley’s attention and love! This is a friends to lovers story that left me happy at the end of the story but also left me wondering which of the characters I had invested in would have their story told next. I would love to hear about Delaney and Marshall and probably a few others, too.

What I liked:
* Piper: a tough take no prisoners woman working in construction. She also cares about family and friends and has a heart of gold
* Harley: my, oh my, oh MY! He is a hunk of burning love and just what Piper needs. He is there for family and friends and has a bit of a hero complex. Truly liked this man!
* The family member and the parts they played...nice to see them and how they are doing.
* Jiggs: a dog that was perfect for Harvey
* Delaney and her daughters
* The father-daughter dance scene with Uncle Harley and Jolie – made me smile
* Marshall: At first he seemed a bit of a creep but he became more and worthy of a book of his own by the end of the book.
* The Dark Knights: life savers in more ways than one...need to see if there is a series about them
* The magic potions Piper’s mother makes
* The mention of difficult subjects and how they were addressed – there were more than one or two in this book
* All of it really except…

What I did not like:
* Having to say goodbye to everyone when I read the last page.

Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake Romance for the ARC – This is my honest review.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has secrets, laughs, and sweet love.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Call Her Mine (Harmony Pointe #1)
This Is Love (Harmony Pointe #2)

This is Piper and Harley’s story. Piper and Harley have been friends forever, but Piper has managed to keep him the friend zone. He wants more but she has steel enforced walls around her heart are getting it broken years ago. When he gets hurt and needs help, she steps up but warns him about falling for her. They can be more but no love. But he already loves her. Can he convince her he is worthy of a chance at forever? Or will her past hurts ruin a great future they could have had?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

I really loved this book. I have been working from home as an essential worker for my local county due to the Covid 19 pandemic. I needed the laugh and the verbal baiting between Hardly and Piper in the story. It brightened my day and made it an escape the devastation we are all experiencing.

Having grown up in the building construction world is identify with Piper - I give men the stink eye and have always depended upon myself. Piper is always saving her friends, family and neighbors -but fails to really look at what she needs / or wants in life. She put up emotional walls after her heart was broken in High school by Marshall, Hardly's brother. Hardly wanted to pound his brother's head in, after he saw Piper crying at the dock. Neither have ever spoken about that night.

Hardly has been in love with Piper since he came back home to take over the family pub three years ago upon learning is dad was dying. He has always been the hero / the one looking out / fixing problems for his family for as long as he can remember. What he never realized was that he has been secretly in love with Piper since his brother broke her heart. in high school.

I love that neither character want the other to change - they are both looking for someone to accept them as they are.

OMG OMG OMG this is such an amazing story it warms my heart every time when I think about it and it on my top shit list. The characters, the story, the family drama, the chemistry all combined together in such an amazing story and I loved it. Highly recommended.!
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

YES! This one was so good! Piper is not a girly girl...she is a take charge woman who runs her own contracting crew but Harley takes her by surprise. He has always been the one to chase off her dates but when he is hurt and in the ER and needs a ride home and help, she is the one to get the call. Him on pain meds equals no filters and all barriers come down. Soon they are crossing those barriers and tipping into friends with benefits. Is it the potions her mom provides or something else brewing? This whole series is great and this one is just a great addition. It could be read as a standalone but why would you want to.

Piper Dalton is true to any Foster heroine, she is feisty, strong and true to herself, but one thing sets her apart from the others, she is by far not a girly girl and she works in construction which lets face it is a predominate male world but she is fierce and holds her own. Harley Dutch is her best friend, and we all know that a friends lover story is just going to happen when ever Melissa put them together.

Piper ends up looking Harley after he hurts himself, and in his medicated stupor he confesses his love to Piper, this kinds throws her for a loop as she doesn't need a man who will eventually want to change her, yet Harley isn't looking to provide or care for her he respects how independent and strong she is and doesn't want to change that for the world, he just wants her the way she is.

I loved watching Harley break down Pipers walls, he is a helluva catch for Piper and they are clearly made for each other. She Loves Me will have you swooning at Harley's soft side, cheering for Pipers independence and also having you laughing and crying at the same time as the story goes on. This is another great book from Melissa in the Harmony Pointe series and I can't wait to read more book about the host of new characters we meet in ever new book she writes

Oh, Harley! You are amazing. He has had feelings for Piper for so long and has kept them guarded while waiting for Piper to see what is right before her eyes. Even while keeping his feelings to himself, he protects her, he helps her, and he sees her for the amazing woman she is. He doesn’t want to make her a girlie girl, he loves how self-sufficient she is, and he loves how well she can use her hands.

Piper, open your eyes girl! There was no doubt that she saw Harley for what he was but every other guy she’s dated has wanted her to change her as their relationship progressed and she has a fear of losing herself if she falls in love. Too bad Harley has other plans for them and she has no hope in keeping her heart to herself.

The honesty, the love, the friendships, and the fun are exactly what I was looking for. Harley and Piper are so perfect for each other and so in tune with each other. They know when to push when to pull, and when to step back. I so love this story. Melissa Foster wrote the perfect happily ever after.

I really enjoyed this book. I could hardly put it down. You guessed it a book hangover was a result. I loved Piper and Harley. Harley is going to make you swoon a lot. I mean just the way he takes care of his nieces is enough, but the one thing that sealed his swoon worthiness was he likes Piper just the way she is. He gets her and wouldn't change her for the world. I mean their first date was perfect example of that. I loved Piper. She feels like she's not forever material because she's not the typical woman, but to me that makes her all the more special. She has such a huge caring heart and she instinctively knows what to do even if she thinks she doesn't. It made me so happy to see Harley in her corner and not give up on her. The epilogue was absolutely perfect. I would so recommend this book. It's the perfect mixture of heat and heart. This is the type of book you can easily get lost in.

As many of you know I love romance books. You also know Melissa Foster is one of my favorite authors. She just writes so well that all her stories draw me in! Well, she has a new book out called, She loves me. This one follows Piper and Harley's story which was one I was waiting to read.

Piper is not your typical woman. She is more of “one of the guys” type of woman. She doesn’t want marriage or a man to settle down with. She totally fine with a romp in the hay from time to time. She runs a construction business. She is foul-mouthed and loved to eat non-healthy meals. She feels most men aren’t man enough for her or are scared of her and she’s not about to change into a lady for anyone.

Harley is a sweet loving bartender. He’s been with his share of women but he’s ready to settle down. He wants someone who he’s had eyes for a while now but all his flirting just get pushed off as he is just a flirt and he is tired of that. It’s time to show her that he is totally hot for her!

I just loved this story! Harley is my type of guy. He doesn’t give up and he is so accepting, lovable, and persistent that you just have to love him. Piper is stubborn and been hurt so those walls are thick. I loved watching them both transform into such an amazing couple. This book is a must-read! Get it today and I promise you won’t be sorry!

OMG I frickin loved this book. Harley and Piper made me so happy.

If I ever could relate to a female character in a book Piper is definitely that woman. I could understand everything that she went through and all her hung-ups. It's really hard on a person feeling like she/he is missing something. And that is why I loved Harley ; he loved her for her and did everything to prove that he didn't want to change her.

Melissa Foster has become one of my favorite authors and if she keeps bringing book like this one she will definitely because my favorite.

4.5 stars - So much book, so much to love! she loves me is Harley and Piper’s friends to lovers story. Harley is hunky. The perfect son, best brother, awesome friend and a fantastic lover. Piper says he’s always c0ck blocking, but really, he loves her and wants her for himself. Piper is a bad a$$ chick! Beautiful, capable, loyal and convinced that she’s not built for a normal date, get engaged, get married and have babies sort of relationship. Even when her and Harley’s friendship becomes more, she’s afraid to go all-in. Harley realizes just how amazing she is though and he’s holding on for all gems worth. Good thing too, because their love is one for the record books. I loved this read from start to finish and can’t recommend it highly enough.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Gah! I abso-freaking-lutely love Piper and Harley’s story. I can’t even begin to tell you how much. There were some things that I saw would come up, but I wasn’t able to see how until it happened. It was amazing. There were some times that I got a little choked up and teary-eyed because it hit close to home. There were times that I wanted to smack some sense into both of them because of what they were doing or how they were behaving. But in the end, Piper and Harley get their HEA in the way that they deserve.

This shouldn’t be news to anyone that follows my reviews, but Harmony Pointe has been a favorite of mine since I read Call Her Mine. It has consistently hit my #TopReads shelf every time. The minute this book landed on my kindle back at the beginning of March I dove right in. I just cannot help it not only with this series, but truth be told, Melissa Foster herself as well. I was so frikkin giddy with Piper and Harley that when I finished, I launched right into a re-read of the series! I know I know, ridiculous, because I’ve done this ever time but you know what, every time I go back and re-read, my mind is blown again and again! You guys … this has only happened with one other story, and that was FSOG. I have read that trilogy now 7 times (book 2 nine times) and it never gets old and it is always as if I’m reading it for the first time. Same with Harmony Pointe !! Here’s the thing about this series, Melissa integrates everyone in everyone’s book, which is glorious because its like you’re never really saying goodbye to a couple and their story just continues. GAH, I love this series so much!!

There’s nothing more joyous than a friends to more story and the story of Piper and Harley making the leap was even more joyous because I have known them both for quite a while :) and I’ve been rooting for them almost as long! What a perfect storyline Melissa chose for them! Piper is the best kind of heroine you’d want to read .. sassy and witty, strong and independent, loyal and smart and an amazing friend! Harley is swoon personified !! There is absolutely nothing not to like about him. He is driven and smart and loyal and the best kind a friend a girl could ask for. And patient, oh my, so damn patient, and kind and just *happy sigh* THEY WERE THE PERFECT TEAM!

I love it when Melissa delivers a story that is passionately emotional. This story is not just the growth of friendship to more for Piper and Harley. Piper has a lot of growing to do and hurdles she must jump and history she has to leave in the past before she can make a future with Harley and I cannot tell you how proud I am of the choices Melissa made with her character. She built not only this story but both Piper and Harley and the secondary characters beautifully. She wrote a story I could jump into and become a part of. It has been an epic ride for me! And the epilogue … I’m crying again!! Well done!!

This is another good book in the series. Piper may be small, but she is a pistol who can make grown men cry. I loved her uniqueness of working construction with her father. She has never been a girlie girl like her sisters. She is one stubborn woman who is tired of men trying to change her. Not all men. Harley who owns the bar in town likes her just the way she is. He has been trying to tell her he wants more than friendship for the last three years, but she hasn’t got the hint. Harley sprains his foot pretty bad, and Piper is called to pick him up at the hospital. I love what the pain drugs did to him and the things he said to Piper. Piper is so good with his nieces too that are staying with him while their mother heals from an operation. And I can’t forget the Harley’s dog who stole the scene numerous times! I loved how Harley is always taking care of his family and everyone he loves. Harley and Piper’s moms were a hoot on how they are trying to make Piper and Harley fall in love. There are some bad feelings with Harley and his brother that need worked out and cause some heartache. Harley is so patient with Piper—what a wonderful guy. This is such a good romance story that had me in tears a few times. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and strongly encourage you to read the book.

Piper is a kick a@@ construction owner/worker. She is not into commitments. Harley is a bar owner. Piper and Harley have been friends for many years. After an accident, Harley needs daily help with his nieces. Being a very kind hearted and giving person Piper jumped right in. Harley already being attracted to Piper, he just needs to get her to take a chance on him.
I absolutely love this book. Melissa never disappoints. She Loves Me is book 3 in the Harmony Pointe series. You do not have to read the previous books. However, i highly recommend you do. This book has a HEA with no cliffhanger.

While this book can be read as a standalone, it clearly was built to be read as part of an overall series. Thanks to NetGalley, I took a plunge into this book anyway and managed to not get lost with what's going on, but did feel slightly like I missed some back story on these characters from other books.

Reading this book felt long, but it was clearly setting up other characters, story lines and settings for future books.
