Returning to Blessings, Georgia is like meeting up with an old friend. Cathy's story is full of twists and turns, and in some cases is somewhat unbelievable. However, looking back at the previous books in the series, it fits in well and I look forward to the next title..

I loved this book. Cathy was escaping her ex-husband and found the town of Blessings, GA. She settled in and when she got hurt running, she found out what small towns do. They help each other. She had never had that and thought maybe she found a place to stay. She met Duke and as he helped her recover, she found out there are good guys out there. There was so much good about this book. Small town friendliness, an ex that will get his due, a romance and cattle thieving. I couldn't put the book down. I hightly recommend. Also that little smippet at the end about the next book makes me want it now!
I got this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

Another excellent book in this series!! Highly recommend.

I've read each of the books in the Blessings, Georgia series and they keep getting better. The stories are all sweet, mostly wholesome, with a bit of excitement added. In this book, Cathy Terry, recently divorced from a Vegas high-powered owner, arrives in Blessings and rents a home there. Cathy is a jogger, and during a run she fell, injuring herself. Duke Talbot witnesses the fall, and swoops in to get Cathy to a hospital.

This fateful fall begins the story of Duke and Cathy. Of course, there is some suspenseful times when Cathy's vengeful ex-husband tries to find her, as well as a couple of other pulse-pounding encounters. I don't do spoilers, so you'll just have to read this excellent novel to find out the rest of the story.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

Cathy Terry’s life has taken been twists and turns. From spending the first twelve years of her life in the wilds of Alaska. To spending her teenage and young adult years in Nevada’s desert. She realize that she has finally found a home is small-town Blessings, GA.

Duke is a native of Blessings, GA and his family and friends have long considered him to be a confirmed bachelor. Then one day, he sees an unknown female jogger fall. He quickly realizes that meeting Cathy will be the start of a new life for him.

Can Duke and Cathy weather cattle rustlers, a diabolical ex-husband, a mass shooting and other assorted hurdles to find their happily ever after?

Once in a Blue Moon by Sharon Sala (Blessings, Georgia #10) 5 stars

I can't say it enough that it is always a wonderful gift to read a Blessings, Georgia book and revisit old friends and see how their lives are going. This books centers on Cathy Terry, a recent resident of Blessings, who is resting from her travels. She is a woman of mystery, who is on the run from her stalking ex-husband. She meets Duke Talbot when he sees her fall down while jogging. He takes her to the hospital and helps her out and other characters from prior books show up to help her too. This romance is both gentle and fierce, gentle in the way of courtship between Cathy and Duke; fierce in the way that Cathy confronts her past to seize her future. I loved this book and can't wait for the next one - who is that mysterious motorcycle rider that rolled into town?

Thank you Netgalley and SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca for this ARC.

Once in a Blue Moon has reminded me all over again what a fine storyteller Sharon Sala is. Reading her books is like watching a movie in your head. She is that good!

Blessings is like a magical town. Maybe somewhat unrealistic. But I want to move there! Ha!

Some of the characters in the previous books in the series appear in this book. I remember Peanut because his ridiculous name caused me to dislike that particular title!

For those who prefer clean, there's only one scene here, not too explicit.

Thank you Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the ARC. This is my honest opinion.

Sharon Sala is one of my favorite authors. I’ve just discovered the Blessings Georgia Series. Once in a Blue Moon pulled me into the story immediately and I cannot wait to revisit this awesome little town. Suspense, romance and a great plot line all in one book. While this is eat stand alone book I am definitely going to start at the beginning and enjoy meeting everyone in Blessings.
Thanks to NetGalley and the author and her publisher for letting me read an advanced copy of Once in a Blue Moon.

Cathy Terry hitchhikes from Las Vegas and lands in Blessings, Georgia. She is trying to hide from her ex husband Blaine, who owns a casino. Cathy meets Duke by hurting her ankle while she is exercising. Cathy and Duke start to form a relationship. Cathy starts to fall in love with the little town and the town falls in love with her. I really enjoyed this book. It is part of a series. I believe it can be read stand alone. If you haven’t read this seriesI recommend going back and reading the others. The characters in Blessings seem so warm and inviting that you want to meet them. Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for the E-ARC. This is me own opinion.

Cathy is leaving her husband Blaine. Blaine was rich and abusive. Cathy hikes until she reaches blessings Georgia. I thought it was a little reckless for Cathy to be running by herself with an abusive ex husband. Cathy meets an handsome man Duke when she's in trouble. Duke is an interesting name but it's a nickname. I liked the small town characters. I thought Duke was very sweet. I liked the action with the thieves and the ex husband. I liked the romance between Cathy and Duke. I liked the ending.

I just love this little town of Blessings, Georgia! This book reads just like I am watching a favorite television series and these characters have jumped from the pages of m book onto the screen. I have loved Duke in the prevoius book and his story with Cathy was as usual for Sharon Sala fun, sweet and exciting. I love this series and always anxious for the next. These townspeople are always so well developed in each book and I love revisiting each and everyone of them not matter whom is the star of the book.

Whenever I get a chance, I’m so glad to return to Blessings. I’ve been looking forward to Duke’s story for awhile now, and I’m so happy he’s here! This was a great book, as per usual from Sharon Sala. I love her characters and the kind hearted people of Blessings — and I especially love how we get to see them from previous stories. This is a must read, and I highly recommend!

If you enjoy Sharon Sala’s tales of the little town of Blessings, Georgia, you’ll enjoy this. I do love her books, but I found this one a bit slower than some of the others. Cathy has escaped from her dominating and threatening ex-husband and ended up in this little Georgia town where almost everybody is so very nice and generous. Local rancher Duke comes to her aid when she sprains her ankle and a romance is born. Any tension about what could happen when the ex-husband’s PI finds Cathy is resolved super quickly as are any other little plot developments along the way.

The story reads more like a daily report on what happens to all sorts of people in town. We get reports on who did what and where they went and how it all gets reported on the gossip hotlines. It gets a bit repetitive.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

This was a very well-written book. I loved the characters, and the town was so cozy. Even though this book deals with some tougher topics, it still felt like a light, easy read.

Heart warming and satisfying as usual. I love the many ,diverse characters who live in Blessings and love return it to visit them. Looking forward to the next one.

Once Upon a Blue Moon, is a little too goody goody for me. All the town's people are just so sweet. It didn't bother me before when reading a book from this series so it must just be this one. I can't believe that I was actually hoping for a kidnapping or murder to happen just to liven it up a little.

This is my first time in Blessings, GA and my first time reading something written by Sharon Sala. This is a series, but I don’t believe one really needs to read in order. The main characters of this story is Cathy, a in hiding from her abusive ex-husband who hikes into Blessings. And Duke the good looking, good guy farmer / rancher. They meet when Cathy twists her ankle while jogging....Duke to the rescue. The other characters in the book must have had their own stories, which makes you want to read the previous books.
This is my own opinion.....a little on the to unrealistic level. Hard to believe there is such a town, or that the characters are that wonderful. Fast read if you want to just getaway from the real world. Thank you SourceBooks Casablanca for the ARC and opportunity to read and review.
