What a absolutely amazing thriller. Captivating and fast moving from the start.. Kaitlyn Ashe is a local D J with a hidden past. When she starts to get anonymous letters from the shallows it is just the beginning. She moved and changed her name but someone is looking for her and is looking for revenge. One of the best thrillers I have read for a long time. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this book. Having read the blurb on the book, it took a somewhat different route to what I was expecting. The writing style is very engaging and the story was cleverly put together. It's a classic page-turner.

To what extent would you go to protect urself and ur little secret? This is the plot of this mystery novel. I am not gonna tell more and ruin this book, but you won't be disappointed with this one. A brilliant page-turner, fast-paced thriller with roller-coaster twists that well-suit the plot. Well developed characters and unpredictable storyline. Definitely worth the read. Will lookout for more Michael Bradley's books.
Thank you, NetGalley, Michael Bradley and CamCat publishing for reader's copy of this book. This review is my own opinion and is not influenced in any way.

This book was just….a mess from the beginning. The characters are flat, I honestly didn’t care what happened to the protagonist and the “bad guy” wasn’t scary or intense at all. There are a mess of unbelievable happenings in the book too, like the cops just skimming over the fact that they know she was involved in a drowning and changed her name and don’t press her on it until days after her fiancé is murdered; the fact that an accidental drowning would keep ANYONE from revealing what appears to be a harmless, if devastating, secret to find out what happened to their loved one. Then there’s the stalker, who apparently cares that their wig was stolen because *DNA*, but discards a cigarette in plain view at the murder scene. Yaaaa….ok. The cop even hands the protagonist a gun at one point, as if a real cop would EVER just give a deadly weapon to a victim while he runs off to chase the bad guy. And the icing on the weird, gross cake – one of the cops has made it tiresomely clear that this vic reminds him glaringly of his daughter, but you guessed it, - actually no one would – they get drunk together and lip lock for some kind of weird incestuous passionate kiss. It doesn’t go anywhere, but who kisses someone that reminds them of their own daughter?? *Gag* None of this book made sense, the plot was flat and one dimensional and it was a slog to get through it. I DNF’d with 20 minutes left on the Kindle version because the eventual killer became so predictable. This book was not a winner for me.
