Heart pounding. I'm dizzy from all the twists and turns this book had and no I didn't know who it was until the end. Check out this winner you won't regret it. Absolute must read. Happy reading!

Laura, a popular radio DJ in Philadelphia, has a secret she has been keeping since she was sixteen years old. Now in her early thirties, she is ready to settle down, having let Brad into her life. But she has a stalker, who is sending her threatening letters. Brad knows something is wrong, presses her to tell him what is bothering her, but Laura is determined to never speak about what happened all those years ago. Sadly, her stalker turns deadly and Laura's life comes crashing down, as she had always expected it would. 

I could not relate to Laura's motivation (or lack of motivation), at all. Her secret, from all those years ago, didn't need to be kept a secret and it certainly didn't need to taint her life forever, if only she had let authorities know what had happened. And in the present, it made no sense that Laura was so unwilling to let her fiance know what was going on, it made no sense that she wouldn't contact the police until things escalated, so I had trouble caring about her when she refused to tell the police what she knew about her past and how it could be connected to the stalker. And sadly, the stalker was all too obvious to this reader and felt like it should have been obvious to Laura.

A really good mystery - kept my interest, and I always love a story about living in a city. The book kept my interest, and had me guessing until the end! The book could have been shortened a bit, but that doesn’t keep it from being a great read!

Dead Air grabbed me from the first page and didn't let go until I finished!

At 40% completed I skipped to the last couple of chapters. Missed finding out the resolution of the secondary murder story line. Couldn’t get into the book.

This was a book I pretty much read in one day. It held my interest until the last 2 people were murdered. At that point I felt that it was a bit too much for me personally. The storyline held my interest throughout the book, just a bit too much for me.

A good dark and creepy thriller. I liked it. A good story and creepy going ons make an fantastic and easy to read. For thriller fans x

In Dead Air, we follow Kaitlyn Ashe a well-known radio DJ in Philadelphia as she is getting ready to settle down with her stable job and boyfriend. However, the past she has been running from is about to catch up with her. Michael Bradley created a fast-paced novel and I could not put it down. While I did enjoy the unique use of using a radio presenter as our main and I loved Rodney’s POV it was not enough to raise this book from just being okay. I thought the plot idea and building was well done and I Bradley’s writing style. However, it was all a bit heavy-handed when pointing to our “ bad guy” meaning that I was able to make an educated guess on who did it 20% of the way through the book. The side plot/misdirect was also very flimsy and not convincing at all. I understand the purpose it was meant to slove but it was not handled well. Overall, this gets 3 stars from me, and whilst I am slightly disappointed with how I felt about this book I will be more than willing to give Michael Bradley another read in hopes that the story and characters are a bit more fleshed out.

3-4 stars! Slow start and almost gave up, but glad I gave it a few more because once it caught me it did not disappoint! It’s a chilling book that I thought was original, scary, and realistic! Well written, developed, and full of tension! As I mentioned it does start slow and take a bit to grab attention, but once it does it grabs hard and hangs on for a thrill ride! Look forward to more by this author!

Kaitlyn is a radio DJ in Philadelphia. She has a great job, successful boyfriend and a new motorcycle. She beings receiving threatening letters from “The Shallows”. Someone is trying to dredge up the past she has worked so hard to bury. This one is compulsively readable. I did figure out early on who the antagonist was but it didn’t detract from the story.

Absolutely chilling premise with well-drawn characters and plenty of action. It's a memorable example of how dark secrets from your past can come back to haunt your present. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed this. I did struggle for the first few chapters, but as I got into it, I found it hard to put down. I did pick who the villain was, but there were a few times when I second guessed myself. I thought it was a well written & gripping thriller.

As Kaitlyn holds on to her secrets from the past, she is pressed to figure out who could be tormenting her with these letters.

The book is captivating and hooked me right from the beginning. I loved the female protagonist. She was so likable. The story is told from multiple points of view, which I loved. Definitely a great thriller that will keep you engaged until the end.

Kaitlyn Ashe has gone to great lengths to make sure her past stays in the past. And the only person who was there that fateful night is dead. So who else knows the truth?
This suspenseful story is told from multiple points of view, one being the anonymous person whom is trying to make sure Kaitlyn faces justice after all of these years. Though difficult to figure out on your own, the author ties up loose ends nicely by the books conclusion.

Kaitlyn Ashe put in a lot of hard work and late nights to become the top rated radio DJ in Philadelphia - but no one knows her past, or so she thought. Kaitlyn has been running from a secret since high school and someone waited until she was finally happy to put down roots with her fiance to dredge her secrets up from the darkness. Anonymous letters that just increase in frequency as time goes one threaten the life Kaitlyn has worked for in addition to her sanity.

Someone knows her darkest secret but Kaitlyn was positive no one else was there. It becomes increasingly clear that the events that transpired at The Shallows will never resolve until she confronts them head on but how do you confront the dead?

It's weird reading a book about a fictitious character that shares a name with a person in real life that you know.

Dead Air alternates between a first person point of view for the stalker while Kaitlyn and Rodney's chapters are in third. I've never read a book with that kind of setup before, it was interesting and it actually worked out good. Michael Bradley writing two criminals into the plot of the novel kept things interesting. I really like this book, it was really fast paced with good character building until about halfway through. I knew who the stalker and the strangler were around at that point. I kept going just to see how it all played out and if the conclusions I drew were accurate but I was disappointed with knowing the identities of the culprits. I was also a little underwhelmed with the reason Kaitlyn refused to share the events of her past with anyone - even the officers assigned to her case. 

The procedure of the police in this book drove me a little nuts. The stalker worrying about a wig they lost in a tussle versus chain-smoking literally everywhere was almost comical. If they were so meticulous regarding everything else then WHY would they just leave cigarette butts all over the place? I could see caring less if the stalker field-stripped them but just leaving them? Not so much. It's also highly unlikely for an officer to give their own secondary firearm to anyone. I could go on but honestly these were the big two for me.

I would partially recommend this book - on one hand it is a fast paced suspense/thriller with good characters and plot but on the other hand it was entirely to easy to figure out. Amazing writing! I was hooked from the start and there was so many thrilling twist and turns I couldn’t put it down!!! Kaitlyn character was so wrapped in mystery and it unraveled nicely throughout, with a couple unexpected twist. I highly recommend “Dead Air” This is my first book by Michael Bradley, I’m definitely a New Fan!!! Loved it!!!

Dead Air is an engaging suspense novel by Michael Bradly that takes you from city to countryside, while drawing out a long-held secret and solving an ages old crime. The book draws you right in and by the end of the first chapter, is a book you can’t put down. You will find your mind racing to solve this mystery right along with the detectives assigned to the case. The premise for this book is interesting. however, the development of the plot was too sophomoric. this might make a good YA book.

A very engaging story about a DJ that has a past that she cannot run away from. Several twists and turns that has you on the edge of your seat. Well developed characters and the ending was a surprise.
