Bernard Marr is a leader in the field of Big Data, AI, and analytics and so I was looking forward to reading this book. The book exceeded all my expectations. Whether you are a techie (like me) looking to expand your knowledge, a business leader who wants to know what all the fuss is about and/or how to use AI to increase efficiency and profits, or a student who wants to learn a highly coveted skill, this book will help all types of readers. As always the author presents a hard, complex topic in an extremely engaging manner.
Awesome book.

Bernard Marr is a Business consultant. His books prime you for his area of expertise, but do not have very much substance to offer for people that are deeply engrained in the field. Bernard Marr paints the world of AI like Jackson Pollock, a lot of different dots and splashes in all areas of current AI applications in a very superficial way.

I would recommend the book for executives that want to understand what the buzz is all about. It is short, provides a wide variety of stories and some very fundamental principles on things you can get started on today. But all you are getting ready for is a visit from a real AI expert consultant that brings you where you need to go.

4-stars for the executive new to the topic of AI, 3-stars for me.
