ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for a honest review, thank you for that.
I enjoyed this book!!! I liked the shorter chapters format and the going back/forth between the characters.
Structured well enough to keep me guessing and reading all in one sitting. The plot twist at the end was AMAZING!!!!!!!!
I definitely recommend this book and the author Mindy Hardy.

All the stars!

Diana had a major car accident that resulted in a constant massive amount of pain, several broken bones, in addition to a blank time-period in her memory. There are some things she remember though, most importantly that she does not love her husband, Jonathan.

Diana soon discovers that Jonathan is cheating on her with her life-long best friend, Viv. She's naturally disappointed in Jonathan, but deeply hurt by Viv, who has been her like her non-biological sister since they were children.

But Viv's betrayal isn't the weirdest thing by far, Diana keeps getting a recurring vivid dream of the night of accident, which causes her to think that maybe she hurt someone right before the accident.

Alone in her pain and blurred thoughts with no one caring for her but her mother in law, Diana tries to piece together the puzzle that is her life right now and what it used to be before the accident.

Even though I had some suspicions about the ending, I was completely blown away by how the story unfolded.

I definitely recommend After All I've Done to fans of Sometimes I Lie and Gone Girl.

Domestic thrillers have become an entity in and of themselves in recent times, and this book fits the genre to a tee. It is certainly a perfect example of the genre, and is packed with twists and turns. The amnesia plot line is not cheesy in this novel, and it is fully explored with a developed character, as opposed to a Grey’s Anatomy style deus ex machina. The writing is fast paced, but it does include the perspectives of some characters who don’t really fit with the narrative well and feel like very left-of-field segments. The ending is good, but feels somewhat rushed, and more hints to the end could have easily been dropped throughout the novel.

I also had the difficulty that I didn’t connect well to the characters, and I felt like some of them were particularly difficult to sympathise with, especially with some of the romantic issues in the book. A little more humanisation of all the characters would have gone a long way. However, if you’d like to read a book about nasty people doing nasty things to each other, this fits the bill perfectly, and sometimes that’s honestly all we want.

After a while the predictability of this suspense novel had me skimming along to finish the book. I didn’t care for the characters either.

This was a refreshing quarantine read!

Diana is our likeable lead, Valerie is our annoying mistress, and Jonathan is the lazy, privileged, cold husband.

Both of the ladies here have complex stories, relationships, and qualities that I enjoyed seeing through (a great change of pace to the man being the interesting one 😏). The reader discovers little by little that nothing is what it seems. I loved the plot and how it developed over time. In the end, I correctly guessed who was behind the madness, but definitely didn’t see the reasoning coming.

I would have liked to better understand Cole’s character, and the details behind some of the behavior of the villain (ie how (s)he pulled it off) and I would have also liked to hear at least a little from the viewpoint of Jonathan.

3.5-4 stars. I liked it and would recommend it!

This book was well-crafted and had a lot of depth of characters and plot. The characters were all for the most part likable, up until the end, and I enjoyed reading as their traits developed and stories/histories unfolded.
The ending wasn’t a huge plot twist for me, as I saw it coming. In addition to it being predictable, it was also quite unbelievable and over the top.
Overall, I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

An ARC of this novel was sent to me by NetGalley for reviewing purposes. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I couldn't get into the book- the pacing was too fast and I wasn't able to connect to it.

After all I’ve Done by Mina Hardy Reviewed March 21, 2020 Stars~ 2.5 I am being generous by rounding up.
This story is a “Domestic Suspense”.
Diana Sparrow was in an auto accident 5 months ago and cannot remember anything about it including if she was with anyone. While she is recovering her best friend Val is having an affair with hubby. Hmmm we do find out more about that!

NOTE: I have a low tolerance of f-bombs & profanity ~ I do get that profanity is used in bad situations nasty people seems to love to use profanity as unnecessary filler. As you might suspect, I immediately found the characters unlikeable.

I did struggled to get into this :(

I looked up author Mina Hardy and found that she really is Ney York Times best-selling author Megan Hart. (Actually bio is at the end of the book)
Ms. Hardy states that she writes stories featuring
 Good people making bad choices
 Bad people making good choices
 Either way everyone is basically a mess and you shouldn’t trust any of them.

SO now I am curious! . Especially when Cole Pelham appears, Is he a stalker - does he have a connection to what happened?

Story is written from the POV of ….. Diana, Val, Jonathan and Cole

Unfortunately for me the f-bombs continued to drop and I got to the point I really didn’t care what happened to any of these nasty foul mouth unlikeable characters. I was disappointed but did hang in there.
I did enjoy the twists. The ending was not a complete shock. I certainly didn’t suspect all the details but I certainly had right on suspicions.
. Remember Ms. Hardy warned us that we shouldn’t trust anyone and yes they are a mess!

Wow! I had a pretty good idea where the book was heading but my goodness, what an ending! I seriously was not expect that! The story switches between two POVs and the author did a great job creating a clear distinction between the two. This was a quick and fast read. I was definitely hooked and finished it in less than 24 hours. Perfect for those who like domestic thrillers. Great read overall.

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review.
Hmmmm, I don't even know what to say in all honesty. The writing was good. I liked the shorter chapters and the weaving between the characters. I often found myself skimming because I just HAD to know what was happening. It's definitely a quick, fast paced read, with a what the blankity blank ending. I knew something was coming but I did not see THAT coming.
I think what thru me off was the end. It really was a shocking ending, but it was like, let's wrap this up quick and bam the end. The twist could stay, but the ending, I don't know, it was just meh for me. I think I would've given this 4 stars if it wasn't for the complete end of this book. It was like, hey I have to get this book completed...its good, it's good, so good oh crap out of time....and she lived happily ever after. The End. I think a good ending can make a world of difference in this book because the rest of the book does hook you.

I'm a fan of domestic suspense stories, but AFTER ALL I'VE DONE fell short for me. The writing itself is nuanced and well crafted. However, the pacing feels off -- too slow for my tastes. I wanted something (even a small thing) to happen in each scene and that's not necessarily the case. I found myself growing impatient. The frequent POV shifts, especially once the male characters join the chorus, feel manipulative and they further slow the pace and made me care less about the big reveals. The ending, however, does wrap things up nicely.

Five months ago, an accident left Diana Sparrow badly injured and missing a few months of her memory. As if that's not enough, she's started having recurring nightmares about the night of the accident. Dreams that feel so real, she's left questioning: maybe she didn't just slide off the road into a ditch. Maybe, just maybe, she hit something. Or someone.

She can't turn to her former best friend Val, who's been sleeping with Diana's husband Jonathan for months, but she might find some comfort in newcomer Cole Pelham. Yet the closer they become, the more Diana begins to wonder what really happened that night—and how Cole might be connected. Worse, it seems everyone else could be involved, too.

The positive first. The book definitely left you guessing until the very end with a very complicated plot. While it was well-written, it was being told from the points of view of Diana, Val, Jonathan and Cole and was rather hard to follow. It also vacillated between the past and present which further made it complicated.

While this book was intriguing, it was definitely not my cup of tea. The plot was outlandish and not believable and the end was very disturbing in a sick and twisted way. I am not a big fan of the f-bomb, but this author obviously is and the editing in this book left much to be desired.

Thanks to NetGalley for an advance copy of this book for my honest review.

Completely and utterly speechless . I devoured this book in a few short hours. Gripping, compelling and so unbelievably twisted, “After All I’ve Done” pulled me in and never let me go. This had all the qualities I want in a psychological thriller from non-stop twists, unreliable characters (most whom you hate), and an ending that I never saw coming. I thought the plot, at first, seemed like it had been done before with the whole “car accident causing amnesia “ but wow was I wrong. This book was like a trip on the crazy train and I never wanted to get off!! So far my top pick of 2020! A must read!

My thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a free ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

What a twisted tale! What a twisted twist! When I read that crucial part, I sank back against my chair and laughed in disbelief. I may have even yelped out loud!

This was really well written. I didn't understand the distancing from Cole, though (no spoilers here - but that was a real disappointment. It just makes Diana come across as Mrs. Freeze. Was it really always all about the money and the house after all? I have to say, I didn't like Diana all that much. Val didn't strike me was the greatest friend that ever lived, either. I also couldn't understand Jonathan - his being so upset at the end. I'll let you discover this for yourself, though, and maybe you can post your thoughts on that angle. Despite these minor oddities, it was a great domestic thriller!

Wow. What a great book, one of those can’t put down, stay up all night finishing it types. After a car accident that left Diana injured and needing help she leans on her overbearing mother-in-law while she tries to recover physically and from “anesthesia induced amnesia”. The book goes back and forth between Diana’s POV and her best friend Val’s. Initially I thought this was going to be another predictable ending but Mina Hardy threw me for a loop and I loved it!

You’ve all heard the quote, “If Momma ain’t happy, nobody’s happy,” right? Well friends, the proof is in the pudding, with this delicious tale. After All I’ve Done, puts a face complete with ruby red lips to what a psycho is. 5 stars

Great story told by different characters points of view. After a car accident has left Diana with no memory, she struggles to piece it all back together. I felt for her character as she appeared to be losing so much, including her best friend and husband - but cheered when she would gather strength to find answers! Great psychological suspense book.

What happens when you don't know who you can trust or what reality is false or real? I love psychological suspense novels that allow you to delve into the lives of characters and the people who may or not be who they say they are. Thanks NetGalley for another great reading experience.
