Started off like most psych thrillers...plot not super unique. But the last 10% had some crazy twists!

Thank you to the author, Crooked Lane Books and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This twisty story of short-term memory loss, and the requisite complications has a cast of unlikeable characters. The tempo of the book is very fast - I found it hard to put down, basically because everything happened so quickly.. Told mainly from the POV of two former best friends, and with some back and forth on the timeline, it's a fast read - but ultimately unsatisfying because the ending is all too predictable. Maybe I'm jaded and have read too many of these type of books, but I had no trouble working out what was going on by the midway point of the book.

This book caught my attention quickly and had me reaching for it every spare moment. But as I read, I felt I could predict the somewhat unbelievable ending. Yet I still couldn’t put the book down.

So, how do you feel about a thrilling book that might or might not surprise you at the end?

Me too. It is good writing and the story moves right along. So I say pick it up. Read it!

I won’t go into too much detail regarding the story since that has already been covered. But as time goes by, Diana begins to question more and more that is happening around her. And as bits and pieces of her memory return, she starts to wonder what actually happened the night of her accident.

This story begins to come to dead ends as well as a maze of new thoughts. Val, Diana’s friend tells her that Diana asked her to seduce her husband because of a prenuptial clause. Is this possible? Would she have done that?

Val meets Cole in her watercolor class. A man who has a few secrets of his own.

And strange things are happening around Diana’s home. Is she losing her mind?

What Concerned Me
I’m not sure I really cared for the ending, though it was well done.

What I Liked
This book kept me excited and turning pages. Was the ending a total flop? Nope. It just wasn’t my favorite.

My thanks to NetGalley and Crooked Lane Books for the ability to freely post my opinion of this book and to receive an advanced copy of it.

Hardy has written a novel so carefully twisted that surprises uncoil and spring up throughout. Layers upon layers of secrets, lies, deceit, and betrayals await readers. This book has so many flawed characters, each with their own secrets, that you won't know who to believe or what to think. Just when you think you've figured it out, you hit another switchback. And I promise that you'll never guess the "SAY WHAT?!?!?" ending!!

After Diana Sparrow's car accident, she awakens to find herself badly injured and missing months of memories. She does remember that her husband Jonathan is cheating on her with her best friend Valerie; that started before the accident which left her with anesthesia-induced amnesia. If only she could remember what she had planned to do about it! Thinking clearly seems so difficult now. She also can't shake the feeling that there is some reason why she shouldn't like her mother-in-law, Harriet, who lives in quarters over their detached garage, but she's been so helpful since the accident that she doesn't know how she could've managed without her.

If you open this book, it will quickly grab you and you have a delightfully entertaining journey ahead. To say more might spoil it for you, and I don't want to do that. Enjoy!!

My thanks to NetGalley and Crooked Lane Books who provide me with an ARC of the book. Publication is set for 11/7/2020. All opinions stated here are my own.

This is a strong 3* Good Read. I'd definitely recommend.

Diana has lost her memory after a car accident and the description of her injuries is incredibly well researched - I really felt her pain!
It becomes clear that she and her husband were having problems before the accident and she comes to doubt herself, her husband and her best friend. The one saving grace in all this is her mother in law, Harriett, who gives her the love, care and attention she didn't receive from her own mother.

What's interesting about this story is the fog and uncertainty caused by the pain and medications that leads Diana to doubt herself. Meanwhile, there are other factors at play and they add to the intrigue and suspicions.

It's a solid thriller that has surprises and I'm grateful to NetGalley, Crooked Lane Books and the author for the opportunity to preview in exchange for this honest review.

Diana got amnesia and several broken bones after she got into an accident. She knows her husband sleep with her best friend, Val. But there are more complicated things happened that she can't remember for the last couple of months. But you get to see Val's pov too and why she did what she did. Goshh I don't like any of them.

Omg the ending is sick!! Every character in this story is sick!! Goshhh when I finished this book I was like what the hell did I just read? But I did guessed who is the baddest one here because that person seems like a psycho and damn I was right lol

Thank you Netgalley, publisher and author for After All I've Done ARC!

Thank you Netgalley, Mina Hardy and Crooked Book lanes for providing me with the ARC.

This book is everything that you look for in a dark pyschological thriller. It's an epic clash of drama, mystery and darkness. From the start to finish, this book kept me on the hook. Page by page my curiosity was peaking.

There are multiple POV's in this book which provides more insight into each character. The language is really lucid and clear. The narration is so fluid. The characters are well etched and full of mystery.

The story is about a married woman named Diana. She has recently had an car accident which lead to amnesia. She can't remember 6 months of her life. She had broken collar bones that is taking forever to heal. Her husband, Jonathan is cheating on her with her best friend, Valerie.

Her life is pretty complicated. The only person helping her out is her mother in law, Harriet. She is smothering her with love to the point it becomes insufferable. Diana has a lot of unfinished business which she can't now remember. She gets vivid dreams about burying something or is it someone?

The ending was an epic showdown. It's the twisted in the worst way ever. And I loved it. There was tidbits of clues provided throughout the book and still the ending stood tall and fabulous. In the end, does Diana find out the truth or does she die trying? Read to find out!

When you think you’ve got it all figured out – think again!

This twisted tale really takes us on a rollercoaster of emotion, especially the ending! Wow!

All throughout the novel, you have a love/hate relationship with all the characters: Jonathan, the cheating husband who is loved by all the women in this book; Val, the best friend with whom the husband is cheating with; the mother-in-law, so helpful yet smothering; and Diana, the main character, who is pretentious and vain, yet generous and caring for her best friend.

All of these characters are despicable in their own way, yet you can’t help but root for them or feel for them. I really liked that none of these characters are perfect, they all have their flaws and quirks.

After All I’ve Done was really fun to read. Like I said, you think you’ve figured it out, you’re suspicious of someone, yet you can’t see that ending coming! This twist totally takes you by surprise!

Don’t expect too much action, though! Most of the story is about Diana putting the pieces together of what happened the night of her accident – that left her with broken collarbones and amnesia. We also get to see, through the eyes of Val, the best friend, most of what happened in the months leading up to Diana’s accident.

The big action really happens at the very end, when the truth finally comes out and shatters everything these characters thought they knew!

This novel was a page-turner, a twisted domestic thriller. I give it four stars for keeping me on my toes but I would have enjoyed a little bit more murder/mystery action.

This book was great! It was fast paced and had a major what the... moment and I love when that happens. A couple of negatives for me was there was quite a lot of repetitiveness and there are several things that go unanswered. Overall, I really liked it and I will definitely be recommending this book!

Throughout almost the entire reading of After All I’ve Done, I was fully enjoying the ride. Diana had a terrible car crash which left her with something called, “anesthesia induced amnesia.” She’s slowly healing from her physical wounds while dealing with recurring dreams that indicate there’s a deep secret waiting to be revealed. Former best friend Valerie is having an affair with Diana’s husband Jonathan. Cole, a handsome younger man, has entered Diana’s life but knows a little too much about Diana making his motives unclear. And Jonathan’s mother is always hovering nearby during all this drama. No one in this unsettling, twisty thriller is a unreliable character. And you’ll want to know what is truly going on as the past and present start to come together.

After loving all the twists and turns, the story went off the rails for me. I still liked the book but sometimes things can get just a little too crazy. You might love the direction it took. I didn’t.

Rated 3.5 stars. It was a solid 4+ star rating for most of the book.

I requested this book because of the cover and if you know me...I love beautiful covers. This had my mind BLOWN! It's my first book by the author but I'm already in love. The writing style was phenomenal, the story was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I loved the dual point of view(the mistress and the wife). If you liked "Before I Go to Sleep" by S.J. Watson then you will love this one.One of the wildest books I have read in a long time.
The story– 5/5
Setting of the book– 3/5
Main Hero– 5/5
Smexy Times?– 2 scenes
OVERALL – 5/5 STARS

I loved how fast paced this book was and how everything tied together at the end. I did not see that ending coming at all. I loved how different this story was and I think memory loss is a possible new favorite troupe of mine. Would love to read more in the future.

I always enjoy alternating points of view in books, and I was happy to see that this book was set up like that. From the very beginning., the suspense from not really understanding what was going on, but having hints that things just weren't right kept me glued to the pages.

The only thing that I really disliked was all the cursing and sex scenes. I have no interest in erotica, and I started to feel like this author should list this as that.

Diana recently had a terrible car accident that has left her with amnesia, erasing about 5 months of her life. In the months following her accident, she discovers that her husband is having an affair. With her best friend Val.

The story alernates between Diana and Val with glimpses into the past. There are lots of secrets, and Diana is at a major disadvantage with her amnesia as it's obvious some real crazy stuff went down during that time.

This book is fast paced and entertaining, I was dying to find out how all the pieces fit together. It all came together in one crazy jaw dropping conclusion.

Twists and turns along the way with an interesting ending. Try as I might, I never really connected with any of the characters. I stuck with the book to see if my hunch was right....it was but for an unexpected reason.

I love a short term memory loss trope & alternating narration!! I also enjoyed the love triangle aspect of the novel. It was unpredictable.

A fantastically suspensful read. After All I've Done had me hooked - start to finish.

Although I had my suspicions from a few chapters in about who the 'villian' was in this story, the narration style, character development and regular plot twists kept me riveted. Read in one sitting, I was completely unable to put it down until the very creepy (if slightly rushed) ending. Perfect 'stuck at home in the middle of a pandemic' read.

Uniquely twisted, and crazy run up to the end. I had a few hints at what was coming- but the ending did surprise me with it’s suspense and execution. It felt a bit rushed though in the last few chapters.
