I was looking forward to reading this one as soon as I found out Cobb and Shawna would be the hero and heroine!
There is a self-contained story in this book, but it also builds on plot elements from Trojan Con. It was interesting learning more about their affinities and how their histories affect them now.
While you could read this as a standalone, I definitely recommend also picking up Trojan Con as well.
