Emma Tallon is one of my favorite authors, and once again she didn't disappoint! I love the way she weaves a story, keeping the reader entertained and glued to the book until the end! This book is part of a series, and I suggest that you read the other books in the series, just to make sure you don't miss anything!
Recommended for anyone who loves a good read full of thrills.

Review of
FEARLESS GIRL
by Emma Tallon
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I received the ARC from @netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
I told author Emma Tallon, I'd read her previous books first to better understand the characters and gain some context. Sorry its taken so long.

Freddie and Paul are preparing for their imminent release from prison. Freddie's underworld empire has been run by Anna for two and a half years, and now he wants it all back. But is she prepared to simply hand over the reins and walk away?
Their relationship in ruins, can Anna face the loss of the business, and Freddie's who she thinks of as her own?
And who is the Russian, trying to muscle in on Freddie's territory?

I'm glad I read Fearless Girl's predecessors first, as the characters and their backstories felt so familiar to me. The book is a well written crime thriller which I found difficult to put down. There were a few situations where I found my suspension of disbelief stretched slightly, but they came out of it well. There are the usual red herrings and twists to keep you guessing, and although I figured out somebody's identity early on, it was still satisfying to see it confirmed in print.

Overall I think this is the best Tyler family story so far and cannot wait to read the next installment Ruthless Girl on its release. I happily recommend Fearless Girl to any crime thriller reader, but do encourage you to read the series.

My only disappointment with reading this book is that I had not read the rest of the series. So now I will start again from the beginning. A great book for all who love Gangland. Recommended.

I love this gritty London underworld family! Although this book is mostly about Anna, the family are all here. Freddy and Paul have just been released from prison. Anna has been running the businesses and caring for Ethan, Freddy's son.
But how things change when they leave prison!

Emma Tallon certainly knows how to write. I have loved all the Tyler family books! Gripping which keeps you turning the page. I do hope there are more to follow! Thank you netgalley for the ARC. Gangster life written with detail. Amazing

Fearless Girl, oh wow!
I'll be honest and say that this is not the normal book I would choose. Gangster and underworld crime fiction is not really a genre that I would consider but I was convinced by the reviews of the other books by Emma Tallon!
Freddie and Paul Tyler are due to be released from prison and are keen to take over the family businesses that have been carefully managed by Freddie's one time love Anna in his absence. She has also been raising his son Ethan and is devoted to him due to being unable to have children herself.
Once released, Freddie needs to assert his dominance over the underworld but faces a challenge from Russian boss Aleksei. And his relationship with Anna is fraught with tension: can they rekindle their love or is the trust gone forever?
The misunderstanding between Anna and Freddie that prevents them from rekindling their love is frustrating as we can see their emotional reaction to each other. All of the characters are brilliantly believable and three dimensional which makes you care about them.
The plot was fast paced and there are moments of violence but this is outweighed by the clever characterisation and emotional side to the narrative. The author gives us touches of misdirection so that we are also uncertain about which characters we can trust and this builds the tension as events unfold.
I was instantly hooked by this book. Fearless Girl works perfectly well as a standalone novel but I can guarantee that, like me, you will want to chase down the previous books in the series!

This was a really great addition to the series, especially after the shocking ending to the last one. I honestly never thought Tallon would actually send Freddie to prison and so to finally be able to read the next installment was so exciting. The progress and development of the characters was excellent and I loved seeing Anna become more determined and confident in herself but I also felt sad at some of the measures and decisions she has to make in order to survive. Tallon writes these characters so well, they have such a depth of emotion and so many layers, that it’s very easy for the reader to feel sympathy or a connection towards them. While I love Anna, I had a real soft spot for Freddie in this book. He’s definitely not perfect in this book and at times I was furious with him, but there was something almost amusing about him discovering just how capable Anna is.

The actual story throughout is another brilliant and fast-paced battle, with highs and lows throughout. There are always excellent twists and turns in this series and Tallon has the perfect blend between an engaging plot and character development. What I liked about this one was that there isn’t just one strand, we follow both Anna and Freddie and there are some definite red herrings throughout. It makes it really interesting and I was completely hooked throughout.

I couldn’t possibly not talk about the love story at the heart of this series and this book definitely didn’t disappoint with this. I’m always rooting for Anna and Freddie and it’s part of what makes this series so unique. Tallon wrote this chapter of their story perfectly, although I don’t want to give too much away!

I read this book in one sitting as I honestly couldn’t tear myself away from it. I loved every minute, as I always do with this series, and I’d highly recommend not just this installment but the whole series.

Another fantastic read in the Tyler family series a typical gangland crime action packed story.

I believe that this is the sixth novel in the series and whilst I have dipped in and out of the series I haven't read them all but it was nice to get requited with old faces and see what they are up to since we last met.

Fast paced, gritty and full of drama not a dull moment insight!

Yes!!!! They're back..........and this is the sixth instalment of this gritty gangland series

WoW.................and What a Book Fearless Girl by Emma Tallon. Emma's books just get better and better.

Freddie and Paul Tyler have been in prison for the last three years and they have just been released. Anna had stepped up to manage his businesses for Freddie and has also been looking after his only son Ethan. Anna has done a very good job caring for him and looking after his business! But, now he is back and things between Freddie and Anna are not good.

Will they ever be back to a couple before he went into prison?

There's also a new gang in London, they will not stop for anyone or anything that gets in their way!! However, they're getting too close to the Tyler's turf! These are the Russians and they will kill to get this patch!!!

Can Freddie and his brother stop them?

WoW, this book is a big page turner and a brilliant read. It's full of twists and turn.

This Tyler series is just a fantastic and I have always been hooked within the first few pages. I highly recommend this series..........Emma is now the "Queen of the Gangland series" for me! "Brilliant!!"

Big Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and the author Emma Tallon for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Current, fresh addictive reading. This author knows what her readers want and delivers every time. Each and every single book has gotten better. I didn't think it was possible but it was.
Things have changed in the world for Freddie and Anna, Freddie has been inside and Anna has been in charge of his empire.
Can Anna just step aside and walk away from all her hard work? No she wants in on the business full time. Freddie soon realises just how much Anna has changed and he's put her in this world.
Someone is out to cause trouble and it's going to be survival of the fittest to get through.

I'm loving how the Characters had grown and been built around. How their worlds have changed so much since the first book.
The stories always take over you, written so well you are unable to put the books down. Emma Tallon is an exceptional writer and I can't wait to see what is in store in future books.

I have been a fan of Emma's work for a little while now. I have read each and every book that she has released to date. I love the fast paced, grittiness and unputdownability of her books. I read the synopsis for 'Fearless Girl' and it certainly sounded like another fantastic read from Emma. I wasn't wrong either because I thoroughly enjoyed reading every single second of this story but more about that in a bit.
It didn't take me long at all to get into this book. In fact by the time I got to the end of the first couple of pages, I knew that I would find it nigh on impossible to put this book down for any length of time. In fact I didn't put the book down at all. This book developed a hold over me from the first moment I picked it up and it didn't release from that hold until the moment I read the last word on the last page. I immersed myself into the story that deeply that I managed to block out all other distractions, just so I could focus solely on the book itself. Usually I have the attention span of a gnat and I am easily distracted but not in this case. I lost all track of time, whilst reading this story and I was staggered to realise that I had been reading for three solid hours. I was so focused on the story that I didn't notice the speed with which the pages were turning and then all too quickly I reached the end of the book, which I was so disappointed about. I had been enjoying the story, the author's writing style and the characters so much that I just didn't want it to end.
'Fearless Girl' is superbly written but then I have found that to be true of all of Emma's books. She certainly grabs your attention with a eye catching synopsis and she draws you into the story from the first word on the first page. Emma creates some kick ass characters that I certainly wouldn't want to meet down a dark alley or anywhere in fact. Certain characters scare the doo doo out of me. For me this story was perfectly paced- it hit the ground running and maintained the fast pace throughout. This was one of those rare books that had me totally gripped from start to finish and had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
In short, I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Fearless Girl' and I will definitely be recommending this book to other readers. I can say that I will definitely be reading more of Emma's work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*.

If you have read the previous books in the series, you will definitely love this one. I was a little lost, not having read all of the previous books, but I can see that the author did a fantastic job of continuing the epic story of the gritty Tyler crime family. I would recommend this book but definitely start at the beginning of the series to get the full scope. For more thoughts, please visit my blog at Fireflies and Free Kicks Fiction Reviews. Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for a digital ARC of this book.

Yippee another instalment in the life of Freddie and Anna and the 6th overall and what an absolute belter of a follow up…. Having been left with the cliff hanger of Freddie and Paul being arrested at their sister’s funeral, charged and imprisoned, you are left wondering where does the Tyler family go from here…..

It’s now been three years since Freddie & Paul went to prison and Anna has thrived in those years heading up and taking control of Freddie’s empire until his release albeit at the expense of her relationship with Freddie which broke down whilst in prison…. Anna has always avoided the unlawful side of Freddie’s business choosing herself to stay legit with her nightclubs, however, the murky underworld is now hers to reign and as you would have no doubt, did an amazing job but now with Freddie’s release, does he just expect to waltz back in and take it all back from Anna??? Can they salvage their relationship and both parent young Ethan?

As is always the case, there is never a dull moment when it comes to the Tylers... you are kept submerged in their lives from page 1 and if you’re like me and have been invested from the getgo, you will devour it in the blink of an eye, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Freddie, Anna, Tanya and all encompassed with the Tylers, I feel personally invested in their saga and am never left disappointed.

If you chose to read one new series during this lockdown crisis… I highly recommend you invest in this series, you won’t be left disappointed, only wanting more…..

Of all the gangland series currently being written, Emma Tallon’s series featuring Anna and Freddie is by far one of my favourites. It’s a favourite for many reasons but two of the main ones are the characters and their development. It really is fantastic to look back at these characters when we first met them in Runaway Girl and compare them to where they are here in Fearless Girl. None more so than Anna who is just a joy to read about. Emma Tallon is a brilliant storyteller and each and every one of her books I have read has had me enthralled. I don’t know how successful her books are in terms of sales, but they are equally as good as the gangland series that make the Sunday Times Top 10 every year and should be read by everyone who loves this genre.

I particularly liked how instead of dragging things out we literally jump forward to Freddie and Paul being released from prison, into a world that is so different to the one they left behind. Not least because Anna is now running the show and is virtually unrecognisable to Freddie in some ways, but in others she is still the person he left behind; the love of his life. It was such a fascinating dynamic to witness this power play between these two characters, characters we have followed and seen fall in love together and build a life together, only for it to then be torn apart. As Freddie learns what’s happened while he’s been behind bars, so too do we the readers, and it makes for truly gripping reading. I loved this line: ‘She was the first enemy he had ever come across who he didn’t know how to fight.’ With danger from all corners and, in Freddie’s eyes now possibly from within, Emma keeps the reader on their toes with some rollercoaster-worthy twists and turns.

I have always had a fear that this series could become repetitive, oftentimes in this genre with the series books it’s often the case of a new enemy comes along, the main characters beat them and come out on top and then at the end of the book another new enemy is teased. And actually that is not dissimilar to what happens in these books but for me, the realism of these characters and the gripping stories that Emma tells have stopped it from coming across as repetitive. The relationships in the series, not just between Anna and Freddie but in the friendships with Tanya and all of the other characters are what keep me eagerly turning the pages and wanting to know what happens next. After six books these are characters I feel that I know, and characters that I don’t want to stop reading about for a long time to come. These characters don't feel like cardboard cutouts of what characters in this genre should be, but actual real characters with unique personalities.

Emma does a fantastic job of truly immersing the reader into these stories. They are vivid reads with characters with feelings that are palpable. There are some scenes in this book that had me feeling like I was in the room with the characters, sharing their hurt and pain, most of them scenes being between Anna and Freddie because their relationship makes for some truly intense reading that almost makes you want to look away but there’s never a chance of that happening because I couldn’t read quick enough to see how things would unfold. I have always enjoyed this series because of the realism and believability of its characters and as fantastic as the stories always are, for me it’s these characters that shine through and make me want to keep reading.

Emma Tallon is a real talent and is one of the best authors writing in this genre today. She is a must read author for me, one of those authors who I will immediately drop everything (even the book I'm currently reading) for once I've got my hands on her latest book. This series is easily one of the best gangland series out there and for those that are yet to read these books, I can’t recommend them enough. And for those who are about to pick up Fearless Girl and continue this series, Emma does not disappoint with this latest instalment. I cannot wait for the next one. Also, be sure to read the Author’s Note when you have finished the story. I’ll say no more other than that. Now the agonising wait for the next book begins.

What can I say, yet another fantastic read in the Tyler family series. If you haven’t read any of this series yet you are in for a treat. Fast paced and action packed as usual, I just love reading to find out what Anna and everyone are up to now. A definite page turner you won’t want to put down. A well deserved 5 star read.

So this is instalment 6 in the Anna/Tanya/Freddie and Co saga and has not lost any of the fire and energy from the earlier books. If anything the story just gets better as the character's are strengthened further and their lives get more complicated. The book can be read as a stand alone but is far better to know the history of the characters. Another flawlessly fantastic read.

I absolutely love this series! I have been so looking forward to catching up with Freddie, Anna and Tanya, they are such a great trio of characters. I am so invested in them and what happens to them, and this is all thanks to Emma Tallon's exceptional writing skills. She has once again written a welcome addition to this gangland series and I have loved how the characters and storyline have developed. There is an addition of some great new characters and I am looking forward to seeing what part these will play in future books.

After Freddie is released from prison he is expecting to step back into the world he left behind. But Anna has other plans, I absolutely love Anna she is such a strong character and is more than capable of holding her own in the underworld she has made her home and livelihood. With the addition of Ethan, Freddie's son she is more determined than ever to secure a good life and keep Ethan safe and give him a stable home.

I think I have said this before about this series but is definitely one that is getting better everytime, which is mainly to do with the characters that Emma Tallon has created. The lives they lead and the circumstances they find themselves in really test them and they all have big decisions to make about what the right thing to do is.

Emma Tallon is super talented and she is one of the best of the gangland authors out there. Fearless Girl is the right mix of gangland, friendship, love, loyalty and action. I am so excited to see what the next will bring and am eagerly awaiting the next installment in this trios lives.

Emma Tallon is back with the sixth book in the series. With a gripping start this book will have you hooked from start to finish. Those of you that have followed the series will catch up with Anna and Ex boyfriend Freddie who has been behind bars.

I am not going to talk about the plot because the blurb says it all!

Not only do we catch up with old characters but we also meet some new ones. While following a gritty tense story line. I am a massive fan of the gangland genre and one of things I loved about this story is that it’s set in this time frame we are living in now.

The author takes us on a roller coaster ride making me feel the emotions the characters go through and keeping me on the edge of my seat at the same time.

This can be read has a standalone there is plenty of background information. But this is a series to good not to miss. Not only do I highly recommend this book but the whole series is to good not to miss.

Fierceless Girl is perfect for fans of Kimberly Chambers, Martina Cole, Kerry Barnes and Jessie Keane.

It has been three years since Freddie Tyler has gone to prison. When he gets out not only does he need to reassert himself as head of his crime organization, but he hopes that he can get his girlfriend Anna Davis back. Freddie is hardly prepared for the new Anna. She just didn't keep things going, she took completely over. The Anna Freddie has come to know and love took quite some time adjusting to his lifestyle.

Before Freddie went to prison, Anna started a business connected to his club, and this perhaps should have clued Freddie in as to the metamorphosis Anna was experiencing. Now she has included another lucrative, if not dangerous aspect to things, that of smuggling diamonds. This is certainly not how Freddie would have gone about growing his enterprise. Furthermore, Anna has acquired a new partner, and he is someone Freddie does not trust around his business, but especially not around his woman - well, now his ex.

How far will Anna go when it comes to her new life without Freddie? When other dangers present themselves almost immediately, Freddie must take back what is his, all while keeping Anna and his family safe. Never before - even while he was in prison - has Freddie thought he could lose everything he ever had.

What an exciting book by Emma Tallon. Fearless Girl is the sixth book in the Anna Davis series and it is thrilling, with danger lurking at every corner. What is more is the fact that if readers had read any of the previous books in this series, they would have seen the all-encompassing love that flourished through the years between Anna and Freddie, despite terrible heartbreak and loss along the way. I was on tenterhooks hoping that the two could come back together again and literally read this book from cover to cover in one sitting. I cannot wait to see what else Ms. Tallon has in store for Anna and Freddie as well as their family and friends.

Many thanks to Bookouture and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.
