Yeah this was not fun for me at all. I was very lost and bored. Plus the characters were...just boring?

I tried. The concept of reincarnation in novels means I always give the book a chance. The flirting with the receptionist was cheesy, after a clumsy start that switched between past and present tenses.

I also saw a review for a previous book by this author which says Gaspari handles suicide without sensitivity, and makes unnecessary and awkward comments about womens bodies. All of that means that I am not continuing to read this.

I found this book really amazing. The story revolves around Jonathan Sterns, the 'youngest and most rebellious of the three sons of Edward Sterns', a business mogul. I loved the chemistry between Jonathan and Erin. Their relationship was very intense. This book was a mixture of adventure, thriller, romance and a pinch of spirituality and sci-fi. I am really happy that its the first book of a series as I really want more of Jerin. Although, one thing that I did not like about his book is that I found the story to be slow-paced and that's what made me give 4/5 stars for this book. I surely recommend this book.
