Excellent work from one of my favourite authors.
The plot is like a roller coaster, with haunting events from the past, unexpected moments and twists that will keep you guessing all the way through.

Really how can you not want to read a book by Anne Frasier?! From the very first pages of the book she has you hooked! Reni's dad is in prison for being a serial killer...or was he falsely accused.. or did he have help? HMMM got you intrigued yet? Well you should be! So much suspense in this book that you can't help reading into the night. Reni and Daniel are such a great characters .I look forward to hopefully another book with these two and I'm guessing from the way this book ends we will find out in the next book what really happened to Daniel's mom. LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! Highly recommend if you like a good suspenseful mystery!

I really enjoyed this book. It is a tense, thrilling read. The back story of how a little girl is involved in murder is gruesome and then to be an adult having to deal with her father and get to the truth was chilling. Great read!

Have you ever wondered about the family of a serial killer and the effects of the crimes on their personal lives?
Sometimes there are no perfect answers, not every missing person is found. But you keep hoping and eventually the bad guy gets their just reward. With a few twists. I have read most of the other books written by Anne Frasier and I don’t think I have been disappointed yet.

This book was one I could not put down. I am already anticipating the next book.

Every time I thought I had this book figured out. Boom! Plot twist. This was literally mind blowingly...WOW.

I was provided this advance copy to review. I’ve been reading more than usual as a distraction from current events and was eager to read another of Anne Frasiers novels..I wasn’t disappointed. Complex characters, vivid desert imagery, a great plot, all had me unwilling to put the book down. The psychological details of Reni and other characters give added interest to the story. There are some interesting twists in the plot that kept me intrigued. Would all the victims bodies be found? How was Reni’s serial killer father able to commit the murders, hide the bodies, and still fool people into believing he was a normal well-adjusted person. These questions and more are answered in a surprising way.

I plan to read this again hoping I’ll catch more details in the second go-round.

I LOVED this book! I am looking forward to more with Reni and Daniel. I won't give any spoilers but the plot was totally unexpected. Very well thought out. The ending, well holy cow!!!!!
