I loved the first book so much and loved this one just as much. The Siren was a bit darker, but The Angel still has the dark element, but is also more flirty and humorous.
I actually laughed a lot with this book, and enjoyed every page. This series has landed on my very favorites shelf, and one I could read over and over. The Original Sinners and Tiffany Reisz go beyond stars for me. I give my 5 stars, but it was so much more. Fans of the series will not be disappointed!

I liked this book a lot. It's a fun, sexy read, with a few character twists that surprised me. I like a good Machiavellian character, who's always one step ahead of the crowd. I felt like _Angel_ was less of a breakout book than _Siren_ and fit more easily into genre expectations. Perhaps less challenging to the reader. For those looking for a sweet, satisfying romance, they'll find that too, but not necessarily where expected.
I particularly liked the way the plot twisted and turned. I was surprised a number of times, which is always fun. There are a couple of threads in this book - Michael's coming of age and falling in love; and a reporter's investigation of Søren pending his promotion to Bishop. In between, we see the friendship between Nora and Griffin, and the role that Søren plays with them all. Of all the threads, I think that only Michael's love story really satisfies the strict definition of story, as I recall from my limited literary training: "in which a character undergoes a significant change."

Tiffany is one of my favorite our of the norm writers. This series was my first real foray into erotica, and I have to say--she has me hooked. I absolutely loved Griffin. I also, strangely, really enjoy Soren, even though he is a sadistic bastard sometimes. This book was so well written.

Felt the heat and welcomed the scorch marks. Wow! This series is spectacular and I can't get enough.
