The CBD Skincare Solution, by Dr Manisha Singal is both a look at CBD from a medical standpoint and as a look at it from the perspective of someone who has used CBD oil to help their own skin problems.
Dr Singal does not promote CBD as a cure all. She tells you what CBD oil is and what it isn't. She shares her own medical conditions and how to treat other skin conditions. She also covers how to select a CBD oil and some common side effects.
I've been looking into CBD oil for anti aging elements so I found the section on that particularly useful.

*I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my review.

Really great, comprehensive overview of CBD and its applications to skincare. The author breaks down every aspect of CBD, from its medicinal properties to dosages, extraction, sourcing, as well as a background of the cannabis industry. I really appreciated how she walks the reader through the pseudoscience that's often used to peddle CBD products and how to tell if a product is legitimate or phony. For anyone looking to understand CBD and/or how to incorporate it into their skincare regime, this is a perfect guide.

The book was written by a doctor who wants to help people with skin conditions. They did a ton of research for the book and begins by telling her story. How she ended up using CBD. It does stress that CBD is not a cure-all which is nice. A lot of times you find people swearing that CBD and THC can cure EVERYTHING. This is a practical guide and meant to be a complementary treatment that doesn't replace medical advice from your doctor. She discusses how to take it and even includes side effects. I enjoyed reading this book.
