I think overall the writing was a bit clunky. It seemed to jump from place to place a hit for me overall. I wouldn’t say it is hard to follow, but overall not one I’d personally recommend.

If you want a sci-fi novel that you will be instantly immersed in and will not want to put it down, then this is the book for you. The writing style was great and the characters were well developed. We follow Dr. Jens who develops treatments for sick alien species and then one day she discovers something that will reveal horrifying life-altering truths. A great read.
