Thank you for the sneak peek, but I need MORE!! Feel in love with this book funny and super cute! I love YA Romance and this was it has a little of everything. Even a little suspense. So excited for this book thankfully April 7 is around the corner. Ordering my copy today!!

this book is all about a girl called Keely - the infamous virgin of the group, who dreams to become a filmmaker. All her friends have done it, even Danielle - the untouchable - now. So now it’s just her, and whilst all her friends seem to think she’s lucky, she’s not so sure. It’s their senior year!
This book is exciting and interesting and you never quite know what’s going to happen next in Keely’s everchanging life. Could her new job, meant as a punishment, be the best thing that ever happened to her? Or was Andrew there for her all along? I love the relationships between all the characters, and the cute puns that show Keely and Andrews everlasting friendship. It’s all about making memories they’ll never forget.

So I just finished this sneak peak of The Best Laid Plans and oh my I cannot wait until the full book comes out. Six chapters is definitely not enough.
Keely is a high school senior and she is a virgin. She lives in Vermont in a town that is basically a college town where everyone knows everyone and everyone has known everyone else's business in their school since they were in diapers. Keely has 2 best friends Andrew, the player, and Hannah the artsy smart girl who is still mending a broken heart from her jerk of an ex-boyfriend.
So far this book is very sexuality positive in that Keely is determined to make her own decisions about sex and when to have it on her own time. There's a potential love triangle a brewing with her childhood best friend and a yummy dude she meets in town. And I'm excited to see how Keely's senior year plays out. Will she or won't she have sex? Does it matter? Is sex the thing that will define her senior year. I suppose I will be finding out in April.

I love a good coming of age story with a awkward protagonist trying to figure out where they fit in this world. I am especially a sucker for stories that happen in the months before graduation and before everything really changes (college, new jobs, moving out). When I say the synopsis for this book, I knew this was my kind of book.
Keely lives in the small town of Prescott, VT where everyone knows everyone and she's been in class with the same 60 people since elementary school. She has her plans for college and now she and her two best friends want to live their best months before they set off to college. However, Keely is now the only virgin left in the senior class, and she's going to do something about it.
I was only able to read the first chapters, but from this sneak peek, I was hooked. Keely is such a relate-able character. As someone who also graduated from a small elementary/middle school and small high school, I connected with Keely's situation. Your friend options are limited, but when you do find someone, you connect with them on a deeper level. But you also can't wait to get out and see what else this world has to offer. Keely's inner monologue is awkward, funny, a little sassy and snarky, and, again, relate-able.
My only pet-peeve is the continued use of pop culture references. Harry Potter references are dropped pretty consistently to describe what a character is like instead of just showing us those traits. I would have preferred to see the Gryffindor traits of her best friends instead of just being told they're Gryffindors. In this day and age, most people would be able to understand what each house in Harry Potter symbolizes, but there are still people who wouldn't be able to understand these references and I feel like that is such a missed opportunity to cater to wider audience.
I am extremely excited to read this book when it comes out. I flew through the first chapters and was very sad when it was over. I can't wait to see where Keely's story takes us because I have a feeling it will be quite the awkward and fun journey

I really loved this book! Keely’s story was a such a fresh new take on YA romcom, and I think tell such a great story! It tell girls that they have to eight to do what they want with their body, and that whatever choice they make is up to them, and they should feel no shame in choosing it. It was cute, and funny, and swoony, and the perfect amount of steamy! I can’t wait to read more from this debut author!

I didn’t realise this was only a sneak peek when I got it, so imagine my disappointment when I got to the end of the sample and couldn’t continue haha! I was really enjoying this book.. I loved the writing style, the characters and the lead up to Keely and Andrew’s relationship. I will definitely be reading the whole book when it comes out.
The only thing I don’t like about this book is the front cover it maybe that’s just me?!

Sadly only a partial ARC, but what I read is entertaining and well-written. I look forward to seeing the development of Keely and Andrew's romance.

Great sneak peak. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more about Keely, an 18-year-old who feels left out, because she's the only one in her group of high school seniors who has not yet had sex.
I can already imagine a love-triangle unfolding, and I definitely can't wait to read more.

Great sneak peek!! It really catches the interest of the reader, making her want to read the entire book!

Thank you NetGalley and Penguin Group for a chance to read the sneak Peak of this book.
It was a great book so far. I loved it from the very first scene and the protagonist is someone you can relate to. I can't wait to read it when it comes out on April 7. I am looking forward to this book! Highly recommended.
Happy reading!

*This review is for the excerpt, not the full book!*
This sneak peek of the Best Laid Plans was fun, light and comical! Aimed at a more mature YA audience, the book’s title and first six chapters all focus on dating/relationships/sex in high school. I’d be interested to see how Keely fares in the full book, but the plot feels a little predictable. I think this book would be good for fans of the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before series.

This was a great section of teaser chapters! I think this book sounds like a great and more mature YA. From just the first selection of pages I'm already excited to read more and see how this friends to lovers trope works out. There seems to be plenty of fodder for good and sincere discussions and growing up in a small town.
Can't wait for more!

I am so hooked on this already just from the Sneak Peek! I cannot wait until it comes out to find out the rest of Keely’s story.

This is a review for an excerpt not the full book!!!
This story had my engaged from the moment I started it. A group of high school seniors trying to navigate high school before all their different departures for college. It starts off with everyone at Andrews house for a birthday party for that main gal of the story, Keely, who after developing a crush of her own turns to Andrew to help her navigate all the new things of wanting to date and all that comes with being in a relationship. Will they turn this friendship into lovers? Who knows but I can’t wait to read the rest of the story!

This sneak peak of The Best Laid Plans was honestly really good. It gave me enough to get attached to the story—although the first few lines had already hooked me!
The writing is cute and the characters reminded me of myself and my friends while we were in High School. I too was an eighteen year old virgin who’s friends all lost theirs before me, so the story really hit home. I can’t wait until this book is released. I will definitely be buying and giving this book a proper review!

Really enjoyed the excerpt! Love the humor and the characters. There have a been a couple eye-roll moments but my guess is that those are on purpose and some of the characters have some learning and growing up to do. I can’t wait to read the full book. Thanks NetGalley, author, and publisher for this sneak peek!

Before reading this excerpt, I had seen the cover and instantly, became interested to know what it was about. So I got excited to see that a sneak peak was available in netgalley. From the first línes, I was hooked but also intrigued because I was expecting the first chapter to end up in a cliche situation, but wasn’t like that at all so I became even more hooked. Keely, the main character, reminds me so much of what I used to be like in high school, so i got reminded of a lot of topics that were running through my mind back then. From what I read, I like that the characters are so complex, and relatable. The last part of the excerpt left me wanting more, not a cliffhanger (obviously, it’s only chapter 3) but definitely wanna know what happens next.
This book comes out in April 7th

I've been heavy into rom-com like books recently, and this sounded so good til i hit the part where she wants to basically "use" her long time friend so she can hook up with some hot guy.... yuck. i hate people who act like it's okay to friend zone these guys but then still do that kind of shit. ugh.

This sounds like it will be super cute! I'm a sucker for rom-coms if they're done well, so hopefully this can deliver. Will definitely check it out down the road.

I was super excited to read this sneak peek.
Ive been into rom coms lately and I can already tell I will love this one!
Keely is adorable and so relatable. I look forward to reading more about all the characters.
I can’t wait for this to be released.
