Ben Ripley takes readers on another wild mission in this book. Things look like they might go back to normal, until someone close to him attacks CIA headquarters. Once this happens, it is up to him to prove their innocence. Yet their closest friends are not so sure about this. What follows is a mission where Ben and his friends try to take down a deadly organization while fighting against some fellow spies. Fans of the last book will want to check this one out.

The Spy School series is so popular in my Media Center and this latest is sure to be in demand.
This book takes place in Washington, DC, where I reside. For a reader who lives here, the connection to the location will be especially meaningful. When Gibbs describes the various levels of the National Gallery of Art or the Washington Monument that you visited, you can identify with the spot. It makes the antics of Ben and friends seem a reality, as opposed to imagining. Yet, if you haven't visited these places, you could visualize the site because of the exciting and action-packed writing.
The humor throughout the book, especially during the tension-filled escapades, make you laugh out loud. It's fun to see the characters from each book participate in another fun-filled adventure but each also can be a-stand alone. The mixture of good characters and bad characters contribute to hoping that we don't have to wait long for Gibbs's next book!

Big gasp of joy that Spy School British Invasion is not the last book in the Spy School series! I don't want to give too much away as the surprising plot twists are definitely half the fun, it's difficult being a teenager when the government is willing to believe that you'll join a terrorist group and try to blow up your friend and his parents but can't believe that you're capable of capturing terrorists. The Spy School series is one of my favorite middle grade series, this madcap adventure will have you laughing, snorting, chuckling, and snickering your way through it.

Spy School Revolution is the eighth book in Gibb's Spy School series. This is my first introduction into the spy school world and it was amazing. I did not feel lost as Gibbs gave some great background and information leading into the action. This story keeps moving and is going to keep kids reading to find out what happens to Ben and Erica.

I was provided with an electronic ARC through NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Spy School Revolution by Stuart Gibbs is a thrilling, fast paced, action book. My daughter and I had a great time reading it. The book has a ton of action and humor that will give you an adrenaline rush. This is another great addition to the series. My 11 year old said that she is going to re-read all the Stuart Gibbs books until his new one comes out. She can’t wait! She also said that she will be talking about this book to her friends at school. Thank you, NetGalley and Simon and Schuster Children's Publishing, for allowing us to read the free eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I am a HUGE fan of Stuart Gibbs's books, but this one ranks up there pretty high! We are back with the Spy School gang, but the book begins with Erica seemingly making an attempt on Ben's life. Turns out she is trying to protect her sister (of course she has a sister we didn't know about) from an evil crime organization that no one believes is real. Will they be able to stop the Croatoan in time?

This book is a great addition to the Spy School series. It was much like the other books--action-packed and funny, but with strong vocabulary and lots of twists and turns in the plot. Stuart Gibbs is an excellent choice for upper elementary and early middle school readers and this series is his best yet.

Spy School Revolution was written by Stuart Gibbs, and is book eight in the Spy School series.

Summary: Ben Ripley has finally bested SPYDER. But there is little time to relax-someone is already trying to kill him.

Now Ben has a whole new evil organization out to get him, his parents, his friends, and the United States of America.

How will he know who to trust when he finds out Erica was behind the attempt on his life?

And will he be able to discover the enemy’s plans and stop them before it’s too late?

My Thoughts: Last year when I reviewed Spy School British Invasion, I just thought it looked like a fun book. I went back and read the previous books to get caught up, and just like that-I was hooked.

And it wasn’t just me. I read all of the books out loud to the kids. We bought all of the audio books. My husband even listened to them. I can’t tell you how many times the kids have listened to the series all the way through, but it’s a lot. We actually go around quoting lines from this series.

And we have waited on pins and needles for the next book.

I read Spy School Revolution out loud to the kids, and they think it’s the best book yet. I am a little torn as I am pretty partial to Spy School Goes South, but I definitely like this one too.

Now that SPYDER is gone, one would think the excitement level would die down, but this book is yet another whirlwind of non-stop action, suspense, and dastardly plans that need foiling. There is also plenty of humor mixed in, which kept us all laughing.

This is a fantastic series, and yet another great book by Stuart Gibbs. I highly recommend the series to pretty much everyone I meet, and I will recommend it here too.

The Spy School series is great. This book is great. Go buy it. The end.

The only real problem is......how are we ever going to make it until the next one comes out?

I would like to thank Simon and Schuster Children’s Publishing for providing me with a digital copy of this book in exchange for my review. Thank you very much!

Spy School Revolution is a fun adventure. The story starts where the last one ended, 13 year old, Benjamin, is trying to explain to parents that he is in fact a spy in training and has just defeated SPYDERand saved the world. After this the CIA is attacked with a short-ranged rocket propelled grenade launcher and the target is Benjamin, the worst part is Erica, his spy school friend, may be behind the attack. The book continues in a fast pace series of events that lead Benjamin, Erica, Mike and their fellow spy’s in training digging up clues about a secret, evil group that have been around since the founding of America.

I received an ARC of this title from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own and were not affected by the free copy.

I absolutely love the Spy School books, and this one did not disappoint! Ben and his friends have defeated SPYDER, and they are finally safe. Or are they? When Ben's parents discover the truth about his life, they agree to move into Witness Protection. Moments later, the CIA building is bombed...by Erica?! Ben would never, EVER, believe that Erica would try to kill him, so his next mission is to prove that Erica did not do this.

With the introduction of new evil group, an unexpected character twist, great character growth, and a whole lot of action, this book is perfect for those "books are boring" kids. It's fast paced (the first explosion happens in the first chapter), it's funny, and relatable (minus the being a spy/chasing bad guys part). In fact, my nephew got hooked on reading partially because of this series. I will definitely keep recommending this book out.
