Read this with my 10 year old 🫶

A sweet to the point children’s book, not for my son’s age but he thought it would be great for littles. Sweet pictures and message.

I read this to my 4 year old and he has requested I read it as part of his daily reading. It's a great little book and is easy to understand. It's opened up discussions with my child and he's genuinely interested. A great book overall.

This book is so cute! My daughter and I read this together at bedtime. I loved the illustrations and the little chicks as main characters. I thought the details in the pictures and the differences between the characters were well thought out too. My daughter immediately noticed the bow on one chick's head, and loved that another one had glasses like her! We were able to make good connections to the book, and I would definitely read other books by this author if this is in a series!

Thank you again to NetGalley for this ARC

So I've used Ms. Jaramillo's books before my library's Bilingual Storytime and I must say this is another great book for kids.

Another great bilingual book from the Canticos series. I loved saying all of the sentences in Spanish and then finding out how wrong I was when I translated it in my app. A great learning tool for children (and adults) learning how to speak Spanish. The illustrations are fun and they support your learning by giving you virtual cues.

A cute bilingual picture book about feelings for toddlers. This is a simple bilingual lift the flap book suitable for toddlers. The images are adorable and the text is simple and clear and young readers are sure to love lifting the flaps (My toddler certainly does).

I read an arc and the only issue I ran into was that there was a misprint on two of the flaps. On two of the flaps the text was upside down. If the publisher fixes the issue with the two misprinted flaps then this is a five star book. Currently giving this book a four star rating since the misprint can be confusing for toddlers.

My baby loved this book of Feelings! This is a great learning tool for language, as well as for teaching emotions and learning numbers. As a mixed family, we hope for our baby to be raised bilingual and this type of book is perfect for starting language learning early. The earlier they start learning languages the more they will retain and better they will speak for the rest of their lives, so I am excited to add this to our collection of baby books. It was engaging, entertaining, and educational, both for baby and for parents! I also love that it comes with bilingual videos on the Canticos channel, it gives us a variety of learning mediums to try out, giving us many ways to keep baby engaged and learning.

This is a wonderful little lift the flap board book for young children, which teaches them all about different feelings, such as shy, proud, confused, excited and surprised. The illustrations of the book are bright and colourful and they show little cute animals showing different expressions. The text is easy to read and it teaches two languages - english and spanish. My daughter and I loved this book and she was happy to learn a new language.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

As a parent I am in love with this cute storybook. Easy to follow, and interesting, this book has all the elements that me as a parent want in a book.
Children really have a problem with distinguishing between feelings and emotions, which is why they need storybooks through which they can learn more about different emotions in a very picturesque way. What I especially like is that this book offers the opportunity to talk to the little ones, as we turned the pages with my daughter, we discovered new worlds which we discussed, describing different situations as well as feelings.
I am also delighted with the bilingualism of the picture book itself. English and Spanish words, so vividly represented, that children can memorize them without any problem.
Interesting and simple, with vivid illustrations and simple language structures, this book is the perfect choice for any preschooler.

This is an interesting book for toddlers who started to recognize feelings. With this book, they can also learn a bit of Spanish since all pages contain both language. Though they might not been able to read, the pictures shown mimics of the feeling.

Feelings was a great book for toddlers and preschoolers. I loved that it was bilingual, so it is perfect for any parent who wants to teach their child a second language.

I love learning, so giving me a cute picture book with English & Spanish was perfectly up my alleyway! I learned French back in my Canadian, elementary school days and I always wanted to pick up more languages. As you can guess, schedules got busy and life just didn't allow that. So, as an adult, I'm going to enjoy a little picture book aimed at a much younger age group to try to learn a few words. FYI - learning new languages is a lot easier as a child, so I definitely recommend teaching the kiddos while they are young!

This book is simple in all the best ways. It includes a word in English and it's Spanish translations, along with a super colour illustrations. It's also a pop up book that shows you how to use the word in a sentence (in both languages!). It's a fantastic way to help introduce words. I would recommend looking up the pronunciation for this book though, because it only how's the word. You could totally botch how to say any of these words - easy peasy.

Overall, great educational tool! I love it!

Three out of five stars.

I was lucky to review Feelings by Susie Jaramillo / Encantos Media Studios for providing me with an advanced ARC in exchange for an honest review.
"Feelings" by Susie Jaramillo is bilingual board book about emotions. Super sweet! My little nephews and I enjoyed the content and the beautiful illustrations and content. The illustrations were well done, I love how animated the little animals and characters were. My youngest nephew loved the drawings as his favourite colour is yellow. The colors matched the emotions perfectly, enhancing the tone that the illustrations were trying to depict. The book also introduces different feelings and how they can use those to communicate day to day.

Feelings by Susie Jaramillo is a delightful bilingual lift the flap book to show what feelings look like. The animal illustrations are whimsical and children will be engaged in seeing the emotions that each animal will display as each flap is lifted. This is also the prefect opportunity for the child to practice making that expression as well. As a special education teacher (elementary self contained autism), I was excited to see this book because I have several students who have communication deficits and who are also English Language Learners (most have family who speak Spanish in the home) so this book addresses feelings, language, and has English and Spanish vocabulary!!! This will definitely be purchased for my classroom.
