While this could be read as a stand alone, I think reading the first two novels in this series would enhance this read and give a little more background and depth to some of the characters. While I enjoyed many parts of this romance, I did feel like something was missing.

Sweet story! I enjoyed Peaches and Colin's book! They were very genuine, well meaning, and down to earth characters. I did not read the first in the series.

I really enjoyed this introduction into this world and I just couldn’t get enough of it. I just so thoroughly enjoyed meeting these new characters and getting to go on their journey. I will most definitely be reading more wonderful books from this author.

This is a cute slow burn romance about a chef and a brewer. I enjoyed the setting of the book, the small town feel. I liked the progression and flow of the story. It was a little slow at times but overall enjoyable

The moment I read the blurb for Wild Love I couldn't wait to read it, and I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint.

I loved the dynamic and chemistry between Peaches and Colin, they are definitely in my top 10 book couples.

I definitely recommend this book.

3.5⭐ rounded up

This slow burn romance was such a sweet read. I really enjoyed the authors writing style so much that I plan on reading the first two in the series.

What I loved about this book:

1. Both lead characters were likeable and I was rooting for them the whole time. Even though their back and forth dragged on a bit I still found it entertaining.

2. While Colin had made mistakes in the past that significantly hurt his best friends (and nearly bankrupted them), he came back to town a different person. His crusade to make amends and be a better person was admirable.

3. This book takes place in the small town of Antero. It's the kind of town I love to read about because everyone knows everyone and they all help out a friend in need. While Colin hadn't lived there for awhile, they ended up giving him an second chance and helping out when he was down on his luck.

This heartwarming romance was a quick read that I truly enjoyed. If slow burn romances with forgiveness and redemption are your thing, I definitely recommend you pick this one up.

Wild Love is book 3 in the Brewing Love series. It's a standalone with interconnected characters.

Peaches Guidry is a chef/restaurant manager in a small Colorado town. She's content to live the single life until Colin Brooks walks back into town. Colin abruptly left town 18 months prior, breaking friendships and pushing the local brewery to the verge of bankruptcy. He's back to make amends but can Peaches trust him after his past betrayals?

I ended up rating this one 3.5 stars.

Here's the good stuff: This is my first read from author Meg Benjamin. The writing itself was great, the story flowed well and I enjoyed learning about all the characters in the town of Antero. The plot caught my attention right away, I was stoked to find out more about "The bad boy with a heart of gold." I mean, bad boys are my absolute favorite! And in a small way, Colin was a BB.

BUT...

And here's where my disappointment comes in: while I appreciated each character individually, I felt no real connection between bad boy Colin and sweet Peaches. Plus, I really wanted MORE from Colin. I wanted him to stand up for himself more. I wanted him to be more dominate. I wanted him to be more decisive. And while Peaches was sweet and sassy (to an extent), she never quite found her backbone. I kept waiting for her to assert herself more!

Overall, I felt this was a good, easy read. There's nothing horrible about it specifically, it was simply too tame for my personal taste! Still, I'm willing to give this series and this author another chance! Told from dual POVs with a delightfully happy ever after. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Note: This series includes all standalones.

If you love contemporaries set around the mountains, pubs, or brewers, this book is perfect for you! We get all the warmth, cozy feelings with this couple.

It is a sweeter romance, so if you aren't a fan of the heavier reads, this one will give you all the slow burn chemistry.

I will say that I was a little let down with their relationship. I would have liked to see a bit more development and burn between them, but that may just be the fierceness I tend to gravitate reading. For a lighter romance, it was an OK read, and I gave the story 3 out of 5 stars. It just seemed a little meh to me.

Thank you NetGalley, Entangled Publishing and Meg Benjamin for gifting me a copy of this book in advance in exchange for my honest opinion! All opinions are my own!
A slow burn romance between a sweet and talented chef and a mysterious and brewer trying to repair his broken relationships, this book is great for those cold night curled up with a good book. This wasn't knock your socks off good, but I did enjoy the slow pace that Peach and Colin took. It felt realistic that while they had chemistry and were drawn to each other, they still worked on their own things first. I would've liked a little more build up or explanation with the Ben situation earlier in the book.. There was such a build up between Colin and his past life that I really expected the issue to be so much larger. He really just blew it off and I didn't think his excuse was a good excuse at all, but that's just me!

I would read more books by this author and in this storyline! There were some good side characters that I think could be built off of.

What a sweet story! I truly enjoyed Peaches and Colin's story! Both were very genuine, well meaning, and down to earth characters. Peaches was a beautiful woman, inside and out, who gave of herself freely, eager to help those in need. She helped Colin in his time of need and got to know him. Colin came back to Antero to make amends. He humbled himself, apologized, and let his actions speak for his true feelings. I liked them together. They understood one another, were drawn together physically as well as emotionally, all while falling in love. This is simply a sweet, loving story with a very perfect ending.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

I really had a good time reading this story. Colin has some bridges to fix and he's ready to do whatever it takes to make that happen. Peaches works hard, works to help build the business she works at and I loved that strength she has. You can feel an immediate spark between the two and there's a perfectly slow burn, getting to know each other and spending some time together. All the characters kept me pulled in, the flow works well, and the journey these characters take while upping that chemistry. This is my first read by this author and I look forward to digging in to other books in this series!

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Wild Love was a sweet story which entertained me quite a bit. The one reason that I didn't give it the perfect rating is that it was slow in places interrupted the flow at time when it slowed down. Peaches is the head chef at Salty Goat that her friend Ruth owns, while Colin is a brewer. In the past, he left town in bad ways which hurt a lot of people, and now he's back trying to mend those bridges. Peaches is an overall great person with a huge heart, who would do anything for anyone, which has gotten her hurt more than once, and yet, while she's more cautious, she still would help anyone. When these two meet, it is the best thing for both, but it is a slow burn situation, as they're friends first, with Peaches giving him the benefit of the doubt unlike other people. So, do they ever move into more for a happily ever after?! You'll have to hit those one click buttons to find out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

When Colin comes back to Antero, it's with redemption in mind, not charming the gorgeous chef at the Salty Goat. But she's captured his interest with her beautiful face and kind eyes. Perhaps if he can make a go of it this time around, he can have it all - his friends, his brewpub, and love, too.

Wild Love is a sweet story with two likable leads. It's not the most original or the most exciting, but it is entertaining and cute. I especially loved Colin's dog's name - Wiseass!

Peaches is the manager and chef of the café in town who is tasked with creating the perfect dessert for the Pub that is opening in town. She is a kind person with a big heart so when Colin comes to town she is one of the few people who is willing to see the man he is rather than the mistakes of his past.

When Colin left town he was a partner in the brewery and his abrupt disappearance with no explanation nearly bankrupted them. His circumstances have changed drastically since he left but now that he is back his previous partners and friends aren’t about to just forgive and forget so that means proving to them he can make a valuable contribution or he is out.

Both Colin and Peaches are flawed characters but that only made them more relatable. This is a heartwarming story about forgiveness, second chances and realizing that home isn’t a place but the people you love.

A beautiful story of love and redemption. I thoroughly enjoyed it although at some parts the story dragged mostly it was a good read. I think this book is perfect for readers who enjoy contemporary fiction.
Peaches is a manager of a restaurant and Colin is someone who wants to brew beer. Right now, he is struggling to get his life back. While Peaches is striving to become more successful at what she does. The two of them shouldn't fall for each other. Peaches knows that she shouldn't even trust him. But she can't help but feel a little sorry for him. He is obviously working towards being a better person and maybe he can change. Only time will tell, though.
All in all, it's a sweet fun read and I'm glad that I got the chance to read Peaches and Colin's story. They are definitely meant for each other.

When I picked up Wild Love by Meg Benjamin, I sincerely thought I had read one of her books and genuinely liked it in the past. Upon further investigation, I found that she actually is a new-to-me author. And anyone who follows my reviews knows I love checking out authors whose books I’ve never read before. And I love small-town romances. While this is book three in her Brewing Love series, I’ve never read books one and two so I can say without a doubt that this is a true standalone book within the series.

How do you make amends when life puts you in a no-win situation. Colin Brooks is trying to do just that. He’s officially hit rock bottom and desperately wants to claw his way back up. Just not exactly to where he was. He wants to be better than that man. Peaches Guidry is an inherently good person who’s entire family has always reached out to help those in need. At times, it’s cost her money and her pride, but never her heart. Will Colin prove to be the one that finally costs her more than ever or is he her happily ever after, after all?

NICUnurse’s Rating: First of all, I liked how this book had just enough backstory to whet my appetite to find out more about the secondary characters in this story without being a huge information dump. If I ever get caught up on all the books I’m reading for the blog, I’ll definitely go back and pick up the first two books in this series. I swear I will…I just have a crazy long must-read list right now. The romance is definitely a slow burn. But Colin is coming from such a place of hurt and of so many wounds, instalove for these two characters wouldn’t have given quite the realistic picture. Colin is quite literally clawing his way back to being a respectable man and citizen of Antero, Colorado. He’s not a bad guy. He’s just had a nearly impossible, no-win situation thrown at him and literally has no one but his loveable pooch when he lands back in the one place that felt like home before he was ripped away. Peaches is one of those people that try really hard to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, and she thinks Colin definitely deserves that much. And a helping hand but not a handout. There are some really touching themes in this story about being kind, open-minded and caring to those that a community may not be so forgiving with. While it may not be a true five star read for me, Wild Love was a well-written, pleasant use of my time. For fans of contemporary, small-town romances and giving people a true second chance at redemption, you’ll truly enjoy this book.

I give Wild Love by Meg Benjamin 4 out of 5 stars!

Wild Love is the third book in the Brewing Love series. It can definitely be read as a standalone. I haven't read the first two books and had no issues with following this story. I really liked the story line and thought Peaches and Colin were great main characters. I will definitely be going back and reading the first two in this series!

Who is Peaches Guidry? What is she creating? Where is Antero? What is happening there at the moment? Who is Colin Brooks and what about his little friend? Oh my gosh, his little friend's name was a hoot! Who is Liam and what happens when he sees Colin? Who are Bec and Montgomery? What stipulations are put on Colin? Why is everyone so mad at him? Why is he back? Who are Devin and Patrick? I really liked all the characters but Alicia and Patrick. What happens when Patrick shows up in Antero? What does he want from Colin? This ended with me having a huge grin on my face.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Meg Benjamin is a new author to me and I loved her writing style very much, so much so I need to read her other novels now!
Wild Love is a slow burn romance between Peaches, a chef and Colin, a brewer. She manages and is head chef at the Salty Goat owned by her good friend Ruth.
I enjoyed how the story progressed, a bit slow sometimes, but overall good.
Ruth has a big heart and sees the good in everyone, but this has gotten her heart broken before, this time she is much more careful.
Colin lived in the town of Antero before Peaches did, and left on bad terms hurting many people, by coming back he has to earn their trust. Peaches, still with her big heart, who knows the whole situation gives him the benefit of the doubt and helps him regain back some of his normal life.

This is book 3 in a series, and because it is so good I will be going back to read the first 2, Love on Tap and Saison for Love. I definitely give it 2 thumbs up and would recommend for anyone who loves romance and HEAs.
