A well paced love story with relatable characters, situations and story. Loved that there was a slow burn with no insta-love. Easy relaxing read.

This was such a light, swoon worthy read. Also, can we please talk about that beautiful cover? It was such a breathe of fresh air to read.

Thank you NetGalley and the author! It was good. A quick read with just the right amount of romance and comedy.

This was a quick and fun book to read. I liked Sloane and Brady and the way their relationship evolved throughout the story a lot.

I really enjoyed this rom-com! It starts with Sloane making a drunken slip and publishing her most private writings. That leads her back to her home town and from there she get up to all kind of shenanigans with local bartender Brady. Their chemistry is great and I enjoyed them together. This book kept me interested from beginning to end so I definitely recommend it!

If you like the fake dating trope than I think this is the one for you. It involves a hot bartender named Brady and Sloane who just made a blog that she made private, public and it is making the rounds on the internet as it has been kind of like a journal for her. The boy that she had unrequited feelings for as a teen is in the blog post but she never said his name so the internet still thinks its possible for them to reunite. But it seems that her crush is engaged to be married. So she and Brady come with a deal the attention would bring more business to his family bar and she can pretend she is reunited with her unrequited crush on the internet. I loved the slow build up of Sloane and Brady's relationship. The relationship between Sloane and her brother is great too because Sloane's parents passed away when they were young. This is a pretty predictable piece of rom com cake but if you like those then I would recommend it.

First book by this author and I loved it!

I'm a sucker for the fake dating trope. What Sloane accidentally did while drinking was funny. Publishing her private blog, revealing her secrets except for who 'Guy' really is. Oops.

I loved awkward Sloane and sexy bartender Brady together. Looking forward to reading more.

While there are several "fake relationship" romantic comedy books out there, this one was more palatable and a better read than many others. Sloane is running away from an awkward blog post and runs back to her small hometown and into bar owner Brady. Brady's bar is struggling in this small town especially with a shiny new bar nearby becoming the popular place to be. Thus Brady and Sloane come up with a way to leverage both of their problems and use their fake relationship to fix their problems. Of course real feelings develop and the story takes off. A cute read and perfect for a quick, light, rom com read.

After reading ALOT of angsty reads lately this was just what the doctor ordered. It was funny, and being an awkward person myself; so relatable and the perfect light, easy read. I was hooked and so eager to see how it would pan out between Brody and Sloane. What started as a 4 star quickly turned into a 5 star after the tears started 😂😍

A fake relationship starts feeling all too real in Anne Harper's debut rom-com! FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT starts out on a fun premise of a woman who accidentally releases all of her teenage and more secrets while drunk one night. The characters have a cute connection, but an over abundance of slang was this author's attempt at making funny moments and it just didn't cut it a good bit of the time. I enjoyed the characters though, and their story was satisfying.

Sloane DeCarlo nabs a reader's attention quickly when we learn she had a diary-like blog that she for some crazy reason decided to release into the public ... and now has to endure the embarrassment of people sort of knowing her secrets and what she might have said about them.

Brady Knox is awesome. He's sweet and down to earth and just what a reader wants in a hero.

Fake it Till You Make It was such a fun rom-com. From the cover, the story and the characters, I fell in love. I love stories that focus on a social media storyline and this one did not disappoint!

This was a fun sweet story that I really enjoyed. After seeing the cover for this book and reading the blurb I couldn’t wait to get this book in my hand. Sloane and Brady were such fun characters. All the characters and the story kept me entertained. I love this trope of stories, I am sucker for fake relationships and this book had it all. If you are looking for a quick fun read grab Fake it till You Make It, you won’t be disappointed.

I had a difficult time getting into this book for about the first four chapters. I honestly thought I was going to need to DNF and was dreading it. I'm not sure if it was just the pacing or the main character at the beginning of this story that I didn't like, but honestly, I was ready to throw in the towel.

Then something magical happened. I'm not sure what, but suddenly I'm giving my husband the stink eye for thinking he could dare speak to me while I'm reading. I'm flying through this book like there's no tomorrow and suddenly I'm at the end of the book about two and a half hours later. I was thrown. I seriously didn't think I would like this book. Like at all. I was struggling so dang much and then boom I'm laughing, crying, stopping myself from chucking my kindle at something, and calling some very rude characters names out loud. Anne Harper, I don't know how you did it, but I ended up loving this story.

Sloane has had a hard life and the one way she was able to get through them was through her blog. Then one day she sees the guy she'd been madly in love with was engaged, she gets drunk, hits publish on her private journal blog, and BAM she becomes an overnight sensation with people wanting to publish her blog into a book and wanting her to tell them who 'The Guy' was.

To get away from it all she heads to heads to her brothers/family house to hide out for a while. She doesn't expect her home town to put such pressure in knowing who the guy was from back then but then in comes Brady the town bartending grouch to save the day. At first, Sloane doesn't know what to think of Brady claiming her mouth in front of the actual Guy, but soon she finds he's just the guy she's always needed.

Goodness, I loved this story. It was a slow build but the old but great trope of fake boyfriend/girlfriend falling in love never gets old for me. Anne Harper definitely amped up this old trope with an amazing slow build and great characters and setting. I believed every bit of this world and story and characters. This is an absolute must-read.

I was really excited for Fake It Till You Make It, the blurb was interesting and seemed to hook me right away.

Unfortunately I just couldn't seem to get into the book when I started it.

I didn't seem to be able to connect to any of the characters and while I did enjoy the chemistry between Sloane and Brady, it wasn't enough to draw me into the story.

I really liked this book. The author has a way with words that pulled me in from the beginning. I liked that the story had a great plot.

This was a cute and fun book about fake relationships, finding love and making a fool out of yourself when your private blog goes live. It is small time life at it's best and worst.
