When Kira inherits her late grandma's B & B she'll discover that lobsterman are honest, cows are everywhere, chowder is delicious, and knitted sweaters are a must.

What will happen when the cute guy who saved her is the same one who is trying to purchase her inheritance?

A great island romance full of heat, passion, and lots of fun!

This was a cute romance story full of hilarious moments. I caught myself laughing out loud several times. A great read!

Maybe I'm a little biased but when it comes to this publisher and their authors, I am obsessed. They are always the feel good, get you out of a reading slump book that you never knew you needed and Hooked on You was no different. Even that title alone -- I was HOOKED.

I just loved getting to read this title. It was just so much fun seeing these characters and I just couldn’t get enough of them. I look forward to reading more wonderful stories in this series.

This was really cute and I loved that Kira worked in STEM. The only thing that I would really complain about it that I found the smut scenes to be a little awkward but when they are regularly interacting and doing activities other than coitus I love them together. I loved how all the fishermen in the town were really protective of her and treated her like a sister because of how close they were to her grandmother. I loved Jason especially he was hilarious. Another book if you are just looking for a classic cute romance book.

I've always been a fan of the romance genre, but 2020 had me reading alllll the romance books. It was something about the HEA that brightened my day when everything else sucked. I loved the charming characters in this book and how they formed their own little family. I also enjoyed the quaint town and all their traditions (I need to cross a lake in a giant pumpkin ASAP). If you're looking for a cute quick read you should definitely pick this one up.

I really enjoyed this book. I'm Canadian so reading a book that takes place here is always fun.

I adored the B&B and it's inhabitants. Such a wonderful group of people. Small maritime town, smart city girl, fishermen, funny locals, blind pet cow, so many little things that make this story enjoyable.

The romance that happens was great, even though there is a secret going on. You are just waiting for the shoe to drop.

Recommend if you want a fun small town romance.

I don't always read these, so it was a nice relief of trying something soft and sweet. A romantic comedy about finding family and friends and a better reason to live, am I right? The story sounded interesting, and it was that and more. I laughed to myself in the late hours of night and definitely cried a few times whenever the foreboding came up. Ugh, I both love and hate drama, and this definitely built up to a huge miscommunication that makes or breaks relationships. The way things ended seemed a little quick, a little 'to the point', if you will. But it didn't stop me from enjoying the book. It's like watching Hallmark movies. You know what's going to happen, but you get caught up in the feels anyway and watch til the end. That's pretty much what happened here, and I do not regret it. Definite recommend if you like romantic comedies, enjoy hot scenes that are surprisingly hot for such a sweet story (definitely something you wouldn't find on Hallmark) and did I mention how hot it can get?

Cute romcom about Kira and Nate, who seem like opposites. The characters are cute and likeable, its a light and easy read, lots of great extra characters too!

A romantic comedy with lots of heart! HOOKED ON YOU by Cathryn Fox delights with it's cast of unlikely characters who form a family as they live in a bed and breakfast that no one is running anymore. Laughter, tears and happily ever afters are sure to please!

Kira Palmer is an interesting character. She arrives in Nova Scotia to settle her late grandmother's estate and discovers the bed and breakfast that she assumed was closed has actually been running on it's own with the help of the ragtag family of fishermen her Gram collected through the years.

Nate Montgomery is one of those characters that just makes you smile. He's genuine and kind and his collection of friends is a lot of fun ... especially the blind cow that has a major crush on him!

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a small town vibe with lots of feels. The characters are endearing and the story line is sweet.

Hooked On You

REVIEW ☆☆☆☆
I love romcoms, and Hooked On You is a great new addition to the genre. The story is basically predictable, but I still enjoy reading this type of thing. Charming, engaging characters with a few quirks here and there and a bit of chemistry makes for a fun and fast read. You won't find anything ground breaking here, but if you are looking for an adorable story to make you smile, you will find that!

Hooked On You was a cute romantic comedy with two engaging and loveable main characters , a somewhat predictable complication and a nice happily ever after. What really sets this one a part from other books like it, is the town and the side cast of characters particularly Sam and Izzy. I would love to spend more time with these people in future books, lets make this a series!

Really cute book. I've never read a book by this author before but I really enjoyed this. The characters were great and the humor in it was pretty sweet. I'll definitely be reading more.

Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I've really enjoyed other books by Cathryn Fox,and this one didn't disappoint me. A light read about Kira, the math nerd, and Nate, a fisherman (and unbeknownst to Kira, a CEO.) Their worlds are vastly different, but she is in Nova Scotia to check on - and sell - a B&B that has been left to her parents. She ends up finding her place in the community, and with Nate, and doesn't want to give up the house or her new friends.

I love that the book tells the story of the whole town. It's a sweet, quirky read and I really enjoyed it. I would love to read more about the town.

This is one sweet family orientated romance with great characters and great humor. Kira has to sell her grandmother B&B but what she didn't count on was to find a new family and love of her life. Nate thought that after the deal was made he will be moving on another project but he didn't count on finding the love of his life and a new meaning of his life. The story is easy and sweet there is not a lot of drama and sometimes is just great to read about happiness and good times.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

Hooked on You is a charming, small-town romance where the secondary characters actually took over the story for me. One blind, lovesick cow who adores our hero, runaway horses, and the main characters simply not really communicating with each other enough to get to really know each other truly was a combination of ‘yeah, it’s fun’ and ‘not certain this is for me’ type of reaction from me. I liked the story but it didn’t blow me away, and that’s probably the fairest reaction I can give you.

Kira is a mathematician who constantly puts herself down – and that frustrated me because it’s on repeat. She refuses to talk with Nate about his actual job because that would mean she’d have to talk about hers in return and everyone knew that math is boring. So, she makes assumptions about him – and we all know what happens when we assume. And there is a lot to Nate beyond just appearing to be a fisherman, but Kira doesn’t discover that because she doesn’t really talk to him. To be frank, I probably would have loved this one if this couple had actually talked to each other. Sure, I get that the miscommunication fed into the story of Nate possibly being a bad guy but it was a bit too over the top for me.

So, in the end, I found Hooked on You to be a good story with secondary characters who stole the show and certainly deserve stories of their own. The actual story flows smoothly, it has a delightful created world to live in, and the charm and quirkiness of this small town certainly shows. If you like small-town romances with quirky characters then give Hooked on You a try – really the only opinion that matters is yours.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from Entangled Publishing via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

I love romances featuring fellow booknerds! And this cute, lighter romance was such a crush-worthy read!

If you're looking for a small town, cozy read, this one needs a cup of coffee and a warm blanket 'cause you are in for a story.

My favorite part of this one was definitely the characters. They felt well-fleshed out and had that realness to them that I appreciate from contemporaries.

Even though I gave this one a 3 out of 5 stars, I really think that if you are wanting a quirky, fun, charming relationship both in and around this couple, you will enjoy this book. There wasn't anything that screamed NEXT FAVORITE, but was still a really nice vacation from my usual dark and twisted novels.

Definitely recommend!

I hate to *pun* this but I am hooked on this town and it’s people and I floved this story so darn much!!!

The best word to describe this story is charming. Everything about it, from the characters to the town to the story-line to … all of it, was just delightful. Yes, a bit quirky and maybe a little predictable but above all that, it was just plain fun to read.

Sidenote: I’m gonna need more books from this series like yesterday because I can’t be left hanging with Cody, Sam, Jason and Izzy!!

At first glance, one would think that Kira and Nate are exact opposites. Who would think that a self-professed geeky female mathematician would ever hook up with a ridiculously handsome CEO? But then who would ever have expected them to meet when Nate rescues Kira from a runaway horse and buggy?

Despite their determination not to fall in love, Kira and Max both find themselves in love. However, a series of misunderstandings and missed opportunities to fully flesh out their pasts break them apart. Can their adopted family of loveable misfits bring them back together?

Kira arrives in Nova Scotia intent on following her mothers wish of selling her Grandmothers B&B. Kira has a lot of regrets, mainly not spending time with her Grandmother before she passed. She was the only one in her life that treated her like she mattered. Kira's adventure though turns into being saved by lobster fisherman, Nate and group of friends she never expected to have. Now she is struggling with selling the B&B, leaving, and not wanting to give up Nate. What's a girl to do?

This was charming, you are immediately swept away into both Kira and Nates story. Nate has a secret though that is going to blow up in his face if he doesn't come clean but at the same time he has been burned before because of it. I thought this was a perfect spring read that was visual, funny, and pulled at your heart strings.
