Bee Fearless: Dream Like a Kid is the kind of book I want my nieces to grow up reading. Mikaila Ulmer writes about a variety of things as she talks about her journey with Me and the Bees: financial literacy, the ups and downs of owning a small business, and how to champion a cause that you care about. Most of all though, it shows the impact that you can make, even as a kid.

Ulmer’s story was incredibly interesting, and she talked a lot about the decisions she had to make in order to continue making lemonade with Me and the Bees, such as changing the name from Bee Sweet Lemonade, changing packaging and recipes to account for the larger batches being made, and more.

I think sharing this book with children can show them just how much potential they have, and who knows? Maybe it’ll inspire them!

This book was so well done. It explored and shared so many aspects of entrepreneurship from a high level with a mix of personal engaging first person experience. I'd highly recommend this book for parents to share with the youth in their life who are problem solvers and dreamers.

Bee Fearless is the memoir of young entrepreneur Mikaila Ulmer. She's the powerhouse Texan running a beverage business, leading a nonprofit with the goal of saving bees, speaking at the White House and squeezing in time for volleyball practice.

Social entrepreneurship is a new concept for me. I was really impressed with Mikaila and all she's accomplished in her fifteen years. Her memoir serves as a guide for other like mind young people who dream of turning a profit, running their own business or being socially and environmentally cognizant and wanting to impact the world. She's indeed a role model for those who wish to follow in her footsteps or those who want to blaze their own path.

Mikaila's story is compelling and engaging and you find yourself wanting to know more about her and her supportive family. The only drawback to the book was it tended to be a bit redundant. The format was a little scattered, but it could just be the digital copy I received.

This book is too cute and great for any young person interested in starting a business, or even just trying to find the path to following their dreams. Mikaila is an inspiration people of all ages could learn from.
