Even stubborn people deserve second chances!

While I initially had mixed feelings toward Maya, I fully engaged with her character and found myself rooting for her HEA. Cameron is just as stubborn as she is, if not more so, but it's obvious from the start how perfect they are for one another.

Their story is a testament that everything happens for a reason, and while love may not be lost forever, it can return at the right moment in your life. I enjoyed the many twists and turns in the plot that kept me on the edge of my seat.

I also highly recommend the audio version, as it allows the reader to fully immerse yourself into the story. The narration was great, and I'll definitely be listening to the rest of the series on Audible asap!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Another great book from one of my favorite authors. Highly recommend to friends and family.

This one hurt so good while simultaneously getting on my nerves because I just wanted Olivia and Cameron to tell each other how they really felt - especially after so much wasted time! I can't wait to continue with this series.

Apologies for the late response on this title, and apologies for clogging up an inbox on old titles.

While I am aware it's obvious, I have chosen not to read/review this title.

As always, I appreciate access to titles and look forward to the next one...which I have likely already read based on how long ago this title was published.

Thanks, again.

I have read On My Knees twice now and it's even better the second time around! The angst, the romance, the drammaaa.dramatic. We love a good Meredith Wild read.

The story is about a second chance at love and leaving the scars of the past behind for the promise of the future. There will be plenty of bumps and twists, vices, and people who want to use you or bring you down. If this story teaches you anything it is that you can dare to hope and dream. Things may not turn out the way you planned but that's part of the lesson in the journey!

I absolutely loved watching Maya grow and learn who she was (Even though she drove me crazy sometimes!!) and what she wanted out of life. Cam was delicious, and strong, and delightful.

I enjoy Meredith Wild as an author and this book was another success!

I struggled to really connect with this storyline or the characters - Maya was too wishy washy & flaky to deserve Cam's devotion. I don't see what the need was for the whole interaction with her boss & I felt the ending was very abrupt

Not my cup of tea

I loved this! The depths in which he went to try and earn back her trust was just so swoon-worthy. I just downloaded the second. I need to know if Vanessa gets love, too!

I know this book came out years ago, but I am a huge Meredith Wild fan and I love her books. On My Knees was a book I could not put down. This is a new series to me and I can’t wait to get into the next two books that I just bought in paperback!! These characters come with a lot of baggage but wow its was a sight to behold (in my head anyways) when these characters come undone and finally let go. The drama, the present, the mundane, the loss of hope will slowly start to shed and a new light comes in. These characters are nothing but heart and soul. I love them and love this series already!!!

Emotional, gripping, real life drama with a touch of if only ..... was a edge of your seat not sure if you love them or want to yell at them kind of charters. Involves your entire heart in this emotional journey you can't help but hope will lead to a happy place. So worth the read.

In ‘On My Knees’ we meet Maya and Cameron. Maya and Cameron where extremely in love in college. But when Maya couldn’t say yes to Cameron’s marriage proposal, their relationship ended badly. Now, 5 years later, Maya has a busy job and a lifestyle that makes her heart unavailable for men. She lives her life going through the motions, trying to make the best of it. But then one day after 5 years, Maya and Cameron find themselves in the same city at the same moment. And all those sparks that where there years ago are still there when they see each other all those years later.

‘On My Knees’ was from the very first page a book that kept me hooked. We start the book reading about Maya and Cameron in college. And when they broke it off I just got so sad. But heck, I only knew them for 2 or 3 pages. I mean what? That’s definitely my kind of prove that a story is going to be good. And it was.

I loved reading about Maya and Cameron, and how they met again after all those years. Life has been pretty hard on both of them and when they see each other again, they both handle it very differently. Maya wants to run the other way, and Cameron sees it as a sign they are meant to be. And it was definitely Cameron who worked hard to make Maya trust him again. I loved reading about their journey.

I mostly loved Cameron’s character. He was such a sweet and sexy guy. And he loved Maya so much. I loved reading about him, and honestly thought at times he deserved so much more. Why? Well because Maya definitely wasn’t a very easy to like character for me. I found her so frustrating at times. The way she dealt with things, and the way she just seemed to want to be the martyr. I had trouble liking her at times.

Luckily the romance and the chemistry was just so good, it kept me hooked from the moment I started till the very last page. There where some pretty sexy moments and also a view side characters that where definitely interesting.

This was a very emotional, charming, sexy and sometimes frustrating read. And I loved every minute of it. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

ON MY KNEES (Bridge Series Book 1) by Meredith Wild
This is the excellently written emotional story of Maya Jacobs and Cameron Bridge. It is a second chance romance and if someone ever deserved one it is Cameron and Maya. When his proposal goes awry due to Maya (she has serious family issues to deal with, but does not share that with Cameron) turning him down, Cameron leaves for 5 years in the military. A chance meeting after all those years makes them reconnect. This is a 5 star read by Meredith Wild.

Maya and Cameron... A very sensual and saucy read with a great story line.
Maya said no to Cameron’s proposal five years ago; but when they meet up again; sparks fly and the bedroom parlour becomes a place of heaven and bliss for both.
Maya has many obstacles to hurdle before she can fall into forever with Cam. Cam is however, ready for that commitment. He has never stopped loving Maya and is determined to ge the strength behind her struggles and the pill for her pain.
A thoroughly enjoyable read with enough sauciness to keep you wanting more

Thank you NetGalley and Waterhouse Press for the free copy. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love The Hacker series. I read all the books in the series and loved almost every single one of them. So naturally, i have a pretty high expectation for this one too.

But tried as i might, i could not get into the story. I love the start but when Maya and Cam met again years after, i no longer like the dynamics between them. It felt forceful. And Cam's insistent to give the relationship a second try is annoying, especially the way he tried to control Maya. I mean, let the woman smoke if she needs to!

I admit, i merely skimmed through the pages mid-book onwards. Something i never thought i would do with Meredith Wild's novel.

Thank you NetGalley, Waterhouse Press and Meredith Wild for gifting me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
I really wanted to like this one but I had to DNF at 30%. I just didn’t love the style of writing. The story felt too immature for me and the pace was too slow and too wordy. I just couldn’t get interested and there’s too many books in the world to waste time reading one I;m not loving!

I love Meredith Wild's writing style. I can ingross myself in the story line and the characters just make the story. I love this book so much.
