Delphine and her insecurity grated on my nerves. It was ruining the flow of the book for me. I always say this about Jackson's books, but I love the familial dedication, admiration and love. Its the best part of the books for me. Ganon was a cool dude. A stand up guy and I enjoyed reading about him. Gannon is a caring, considerate and loving person. Delphine had her heart and trust broken twice in her life which made her lose trust in men. If she hadn't made that promise to her Mom she might not have given Gannon a true shot.

I learned much about the trucking business. I now have a better appreciation for the job and the drivers.

Gannon Steele is the last of the Steele brothers to be single. He has decided, he's not going to get married for another 10 years. When Delphine Ryland comes into his life, he might just change his mind. Delphine has been hurt in the past and the last thing she is looking for is a relationship. But these Steele men are hard to resist. Will Delphine and Gannon both be able to stand by the rules that they have made for themselves?

Thank you to Harlequin and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I'm really upset that I didn't know about this series before. I read this book in two days, it was hard to put down. I think I would have given it more stars if I would have read the rest of the series and had more background information on the family as a whole. The book is about the Steele family and these brothers are hot, sexy, and intelligent.

This book in the series is about the youngest Steele brother. The story starts at another brother's wedding where Gannon vows he's going to wait another 10 years before he decides to settle down. He is being groomed to take over the family business, but he doesn't just want to sit behind a desk, he wants to be out in the field with his employees so that he can know how to make their job easier and in turn making his company better. Delphine is in town to write an article about Gannon and his practices. What better way to get to know him better than by going on the road with him. They will learn a lot about each other on this trip and maybe give up plans and go with the flow.

I have read only a few of Brenda Jackson's books, but I can't wait to read about the other Steele brothers.

This was a decent read. It was light and quick to read. The characters were likable and the overall plot was good. I recommend.

There's something about seeing the Harlequin logo that has me one-clicking, ready to indulge in a great romance. And this author definitely brought me that. Brenda Jackson is a superstar!!

Gannon Steele is the youngest brother, the last to fall in love. He is the head of his trucking business and has agreed to an interview with Delphine.

It doesn't just end there. For a PR stunt, they embark together on a road trip. Being in close quarters all the time pushed them together and they fall for each other.

It's light and easy read, but I just couldn't get into it. It's one of those, it's not you, it's me. I think that the book wasn't a good fit for me.

After reading one of the previous books in this series I was excited to get the chance to pick this one up as well. Once again I love the family dynamics and personalities that come through from Jackson's writing. Also, the pacing of her writing flows perfectly for these quick romance reads.

Gannon knows what he wants, but I appreciate that when he realizes that something special may be in front of him, he's willing to change his 'plan' so to speak. I did find Delphine a little bit unlikable, but her feelings were also understandable considering the things she had gone through. I loved the humor and the way the story progressed and definitely need to read more of Jackson's books in the future.

This is a sexy romance that I really loved. I flew through this book in a couple of hours because I was so caught up in Gannon and Delphine’s love story. I really love romances where the characters are upfront about their feelings/attraction for each other and this book had that. I also love that we got to see Gannon’s illustrious family but the main part of this story was the connection between our hero and heroine. This book also deals a lot with truck drivers and that industry which I thought was very interesting. I’m pretty sure this is the last book in Jackson’s Steele series and it was the perfect way to end it. Although, I do hope that we get to see more of these characters one way or another in her future books.

When listening to book #12, Seduced by a Steele, I was treated to a sample of Claimed by a Steele at the emd of the ebook.

Gannon Steele is the youngest of the Steele brothers and he's wondering what he can do to boost business. He invites reporter Delphine Ryland to hitch a ride cross-country. But can he keep his eyes on the road?

Delphine is happy to tag along after some persuasion. But she's cautious, very cautious. I thought her character was realistic- she had to care for her mother who had MS and who she still misses like crazy.

Gannon may be the youngest of the Steeles, but he knows how to attract women, too. He's also willing to take things at Delphine's pace.....until things get out of hand. Gannon is also the only Steele brother who is not married. Is Delphine the one for him? Can he commit to her during theeir road trip?

Just like Seduced by a Steele before it (book 12 in the series), I was hooked on this. The romance seemed even hotter, but maybe that was just me. I got the Happy Ever After I was waiting for, but it wasn't without its hitches for both Gannon and Delphine.

Claimed by a Steele has an author's letter from Brenda Jackson herself to readers because this is the last in the series. Despite this only being my second book of the series, I'll admit I was sad to find that out. Even so, what an ending it was. I do want to see where Gannon and Delphine get to in life next, and I think this will make a nice series extra. That's how I would continue the series a little, or even have a catch-up book for each of the brothers and their wives.

Although I'm sad the series has ended, the few Forged of Steele books I've now reviewd have captured my heart. I have a good excuse to search out the other books and listen to them in order now. Fantastic books!

Thanks to Brenda Jackson and Harlequin for my ARC of book #12 in exchange for an honest review. Full review for book 13 coming when I have a copy of it. I liked the extract of Claimed by a Steele because it had the same pace and action as book 12.

This was my first book by Brenda Jackson, but I think I did the book a disservice by trying to read it as a stand-alone! I didn’t realize It was part of a long time series and the final book. I liked that it showed a different type of billionaire and showed the trucking industry. I thought that was a great spin on the usual billionaire story. I LOVED that it was a road trip romance. The ultimate in forced proximity! I do feel like I was missing aspects of the couple and family that I would have known had I read the series in order, because of that I think the characters didn’t click as well for me. I’m planning to read this series from the beginning (I really liked Jackson’s writing style) and then try Claimed by a Steele again. For now it’s a three star read for me.

It's the second book I read in this series and I think I will read the rest because I had a lot of fun in reading it.
It's an engrossing and entertaining story with a sweet romance that made me root for the characters.
It's not fast paced but it's a slow burning romance that creates a real relationship between the Delphine and Gannon, something that goes beyond hot sex and the great chemistry existing between them.
Gannon and Delphine are two interesting and well thought characters. I loved Delphine as she's a strong woman even if she was hurt in the past.
The setting is interesting and Ms Jackson did a lot of research on truck industry and I love how she describe this type of industry.
It was a fun read and I recommend it.
Many thanks to Harlequin Desire and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Claimed by a Steele by Brenda Jackson is the thirteenth and final book in her Forged of Steele series. This is a contemporary billionaire romance.

Gannon Steele is the youngest and last unmarried of the Steele brothers of Phoenix, and he plans to enjoy having all the beautiful women to himself with his brothers off the market. He’s CEO of his family’s trucking company and is being interviewed by journalist Delphine Ryland for a series on CEOs making a difference in their companies. Gannon is left speechless by Delphine’s beauty and invites her on a road trip to determine if she is his destiny, the one he is meant to claim.

Brenda Jackson is a master of the romance genre and Claimed by a Steele is another of her successful endeavors. She has well researched the trucking industry, which is an integral part of the story. The characters are strong and vibrant. Gannon may just be my favorite of the brothers. The backstory is more than adequate and makes this final book in the series read like a standalone. This is a quick, entertaining read that rates 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys engaging contemporary romance.

My thanks to HARLEQUIN – Romance (US & Canada) and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. However, the opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine and mine alone.

As we close another series of an adored family by Brenda Jackson, it is with bittersweet emotions. Gannon Steele is the last of the "Bad News Steeles" as he and his brothers were so affectionately are known and trust it is not without reason.

A ten-year plan and a sexy freelance journalist is what this Bad News Steele will have to contend with. Is he up for the challenge or will an interview and a road trip be his undoing?

Gannon and Delphine were a great couple to wrap up the Phoenix Steele's family tree. It was a thrill to watch each of them get bitten by the love bug and embrace the women that claim them.

Excellent read and I would recommend this one for your reading pleasure.

A few weeks ago I posted about Brenda Jackson’s Seduced by a Steele, which I really enjoyed! So, I jumped at the chance to read the next book in the series. This is the 13th book in series, which is wild, such a long running series and I can see why readers have found them so fun and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a series to devour and keep your brain occupied I think this is a fabulous option.

I’ve now read several billionaire trope romances and I think it’s not exactly my jam. Nothing against Ms. Jackson I have just realized that this trope just doesn’t do it for me! I have loved testing out these Harlequin Desire books since they’re short and can really give you a sense as to whether you’d enjoy a particular trope.

As far as the story itself, per usual with the Desire titles, I blew through this book! Although the length of these books leaves threads unfollowed or the conflict are quickly resolved, I cannot deny that this kind of quick consuming read is just what I need right now.

Overall, I really enjoyed the couple of hours I spent with this book and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

Claimed By a Steele is a slow burn romance that turned around very quickly. Gannon and Delphine do make a good couple once they get out of their own way, and they're both likable characters. I really liked how this one started and concluded - kind of like it was coming full circle, and of course, there's lots of this great family to round things out. From the parents down to the last of them, the Steele's have certainly made for fun reading, and I kind of hate to see them go. I would've liked a bit more flair for the finale, but Gannon's story is still a solid addition to the series. I know this one is titled Claimed By a Steele, and that's kind of been the theme all the way through, but truly, I think this series is more about the women who claim these alpha males more than the other way round. So, to sum it up, this final book in the series is another curl up on the couch for a couple of hours and escape into a bit of romance story that's sure to please.

I always enjoy a Brenda Jackson read, especially ones about the Steele brothers. In Claimed by a Steele, Gannon, the final brother is determined to keep his 10 year plan. His plan involves dating as many women that he can since his brothers are all married. But, that changes when he sees Delphine. Delphine is a journalist who is doing an article on Gannon, who has taken over his father's trucking business. I thought this was a sweet wrap-up of the Steele Brothers.
Thank you #Netgalley for this ARC.

Gannon is watching as his brothers are finding their forever partners and glad he hasn't been hit by the love bug. That is until he meets the lovely Delphine who is a reporter for a journalist magazine. I really liked this book, it was a pretty quick read for me spent my morning reading it. I liked getting to know the characters and seeing how everything played out in it. I loved seeing the attraction between the two and you cant help but root for the two and see them get together. Overall pretty good book.

Can Gannon, a self professed ladies man, settle down? He is a hard working CEO that loves women. He meets, Delphine, a reporter who comes to interview him for a magazine article. He is instantly attracted to her. She mistrust men and hasn't dated in 5 years. He has a 10 year plan that does't include settling down. Will the explosive level passion ignite, or will it fizzle out?

For all of the followers and readers of the works of prolific Brenda Jackson, it is a sweet and bitter moment indeed as the last brother of the “Bad News Steeles” with the green eyes finds his mate in CLAIMED BY A STEELE. Gannon Steele, the baby brother of Galen, Tyson, Eli, Jonas, and Mercury is looking forward to all the women available to him now that his five brothers are happily married and no longer on the dating circuit. That idealistic moment quickly passes when Gannon meets the lovely, Delphine Ryland.
While I enjoyed Gannon and Delphine’s story, the storyline was predictable from the sexy swagger of the determined successful hero to the issues of the reluctant beautiful heroine. Nevertheless, CLAIMED BY A STEELE brings entertaining closure to the Steele brothers’ series. I recommend it for your reading pleasure.

Gannon Steele is the youngest of six brothers. The eldest five are now married and are starting families. Gannon is tickled pink...more women for him. He plans on spending at least ten years playing the field.

Gannon is a CEO for his trucking business with plenty of drivers to do whatever jobs head their way. But Gannon enjoys the open road and often takes on a long trip. When he learns that freelancer Delphine Ryland wants to write an article about his company, Gannon knows the publicity would do a lot of good for his company. So, he invites Delphine on a road trip so that she can easily interview him while learning about the trucking business.

Although Gannon is rather drawn to Delphine, his mind is on business. Delphine pretty much feels the same way that Gannon does, but with her difficult past with her family and having recently been dumped, she tries hard to guard her heart. However, the pair share an intense chemistry, so any ideas they had about keeping things on task eventually goes right out the window.

With Claimed By a Steele being the 13th and last book in the Forged By Steele series, I felt a twinge of regret that I only read the previous book in the series. I loved how Brenda Jackson provided enough of a back story with previous characters so that this book could easily be read as a standalone. There is something of a side story in this book involving another character, and I feel that story really did a fine job of bringing this series to a close.

Many thanks to Harlequin Desire and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

Gannon Steele is the only bachelor left of the six Steele sons. He is adamant that he will remain a confirmed playboy now that all his brothers are married, and the playing field will be wide open. Life is going as planned until he agrees to do an article for a magazine.

Delphine Ryland is a freelance reporter trying to get back into the game after a failed relationship and a few years of looking after her critical ill mother. She is excited to take on the project of writing an article on the last single Steele brother who is also a trucking business CEO. She thinks this will be an easy assignment, until she meets Gannon Steele.

Gannon and Delphine feel instant sparks when they meet but they both vow to keep their relationship strictly business. The more time they spend together has Gannon second guessing his decision to remain a bachelor. Delphine is gun shy after her failed engagement, but she is wondering if she can keep her heart safe the more time she spends with Gannon. How long can they hold out and keep their feelings at bay?

I loved this book and getting reacquainted with the other Steele brothers and their parents. It was beautifully written, and you can’t help but cheer for Gannon and Delphine. Thank you so much to the author Brenda Jackson, Harlequin and NetGalley for an advanced copy of the book to read and review.
