Liam is trying to make up for his past by improving his family ranch by working at a ranch that works differently then what he's used to. Once he learn to ranch organically then he'll return home. He never expected to run into a women he had an instant attraction to in the past. He wasn't in a good place then like he is now and now comes to find that he's a father and wants to do right for her and the baby.

This was a slow and sweet book. This book is definitely heartwarming. I loved that when it came to Liam, he always did try his best with everything he did. He saw he had a problem he got the help he needed. It was interesting seeing as he was learning a different process of what he was used to, and it was not just talk being that readers do get his perceptive readers see how he changes and really thinks about things and the consequences of certain actions. I loved also getting Trisha never expected to run into the father of her child and now that he's here shes conflicted. She needs to figure out more about this guy before revealing that she got a kid and changing every ones lives. It was sweet watching them interact and get comfortable with eachother. Now that I'm thinking about it this is a clean romance so if that what appeals to you readers as well there is that. Overall this was a pretty sweet book and I really enjoyed it.

I am loving this series so much!
McEwen sure knows to give her readers the best kind of stories.!
From book one I immediately made myself right at home in Shelter Creek, Ca. I was very happy to return.
I was delighted to discover that the group of ladies who called themselves the Book Biddies were back! They tickled me from the very beginning of this series and in my opinion this series wouldn't very good without them.
I very much enjoyed learning about the wildlife reservation that Trisha worked at. It reminds me of a tv series on Saturday mornings where they treat the animals and then if they're able to they turn them back into the wild. I fell in love with a certain rabbit called Peanut.
I think that was my favorite part of the book.
The only thing that I didn't really like was that I thought that Trisha was kind of hard on Liam at first but I guess that's to expected but still...…. you know?
Trust is a very big issue in this story. I thought the author handled that subject very well. Trust is certainly hard especially if you feel you've been wronged. But isn't that where forgiveness and grace comes in?
Several things that I noticed is that Liam and Trisha seemed to have something in common. I noticed that right away.
While I thought Trisha was just ok I thought Liam was even better.
I think everyone deserves a second chance even Liam. I found myself cheering him on throughout the story
We deserve second
The author has done her job well because my heart is full and satified
