Mindblowing! This classic piece of psychological horror is mind-bending. Divided into three parts, the story starts as a seemingly straightforward tale of an eccentric family and the neighbourhood of eccentric characters including twin brothers, one a normal 13yo and the other a 'bad seed' It's when people start dying that the gothic atmospheric horror settles in. This really plays with the reader's perceptions.
