This is the first book by this author that I’ve read and I really enjoyed it! The illustrations are adorable and the story itself is SO relatable! I found myself laughing out loud to so many of the lines I was reading. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a quick, funny read about the real joys of marriage!
Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing me with an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

That was such a wholesome read. It was definitely a good in-between book to break up my murder mystery kick. I thought the art style would be different based on the cover for some reason but I still enjoyed it! A little simple but some pages were stunning. The one with the 'plant jungle' was my favourite. I'd happily read about the next part of their lives! I have a feeling a pregnancy book would be equally hilarious and lovely.

Another wonderful collection of comics from Debbie Tung, this time focused more so around her and Jason's relationship, marriage, and all the cute little in-between moments.

I think I've seen panels from this illustrator as relatable memes in the past, so I'm glad to finally be reading a full collection.
I've been showing scenes to my boyfriend and as he saw me nearing the end, he had this to say;
Boyfriend: "how's the comic book that tragically describes our love life" ...
Woah. Tragic is a bit dramatic, but this comic is eerily accurate!
I yawned in sympathy at the ruined yawn sketch. This, among other scenes got a chuckle!
Overall, this was cute, relatable, but ultimately, it will be a bit forgettable standing up to some of the other comics/graphic novels and general books I read, due to its simplicity (which works but isn't super captivating).

3.5 out of 5 wine glasses. Super cute, super sweet, and very relatable. I enjoyed the art style and the pacing, plus even though I've been married for over a decade, I could still relate to the young couple (which made me feel young at heart)!

Absolutely loved it! There is so much of this book that I was agreeing with and was happy to know I'm not the only one doing some of these things with my partner!

This is another wonderful collection of comics by Debbie Tung focused on the early years of her marriage and the normal ups and downs of building a life together. It's generally just an adorable view of a happy couple.

I love Debbie Tung’s previous work, and this was no exception! Her illustrations are great and I love the story on each page.

Very sweet! A quick and nice read, would make a great Anniversary gift.

Great book Debbie Tung . <3

I really enjoy Debbie Tung’s comics and this doesn’t disappoint. Heart-warming, fun and an honest look at relationships.

A cute, relatable and heartwarming book that reminds readers of the tender moments that make long relationships so special. The art style is simple, but well-done. The length is also ideal, with enough variety between the different anecdotes so that you don't get tired of how sweet the book is.

The art is so cute that you'll find yourself flipping through until you realize the book has ended. This book includes various scenes that are familiar to married couples and presents them in a fun way.
The only reason I'm not rating it higher is because I had already seen many of the illustrations -- or ones like them -- before. It could also be that I've gone through them, which is why they were so familiar lol That said, this is a cute, short read!

I loved Book Girl and Quiet Girl in a Noisy World by Debbie Tung so I had expectations for her new book Happily Ever After & Everything In Between. I was not disappointed. Debbie's books are cozy and cute. Though the characters are much younger than me, I find different scenes that I relate to exactly. Other times I like them because I see my college age and 20 something kids and their significant others. This book has a sweet but realist picture of a young couple just married. I don't know if I'd call this a graphic novel though it does tell a story -- it's a curl up on the couch and read in one sitting kind of book. I already can think of several people this will make a great gift for. I'm hoping Debbie is working on the next installment -- life after baby. I voluntarily received and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book on Net Galley, all opinions are my own.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy in exchange for my honest review.
I really enjoyed this! I really loved the art style in this graphic novel. i also found it extremely relatable, which i really loved. It was so honest and so real.
I was a little confused at how the graphic novel was laid out, but I think this more has to do with the fact that I was reading it digitally and not physically. i wasn't sure how the novel was laid out, but then I started to catch on that it was little vignettes, but some were longer and some were shorter.
Overall, I really enjoyed it! I found myself laughing out loud and "awww"ing at certain pages. I think anyone who has been in a relationship would really enjoy this! With that ending, I'm REALLY hoping we get a sequel!

I love graphic novels/comics about relationships and couples especially. I've read ones with family members too but the ones about couples just seem to always really hit the mark and make my heart swoon.
Debbie Tung hit the nail on the head with so many of these panels, and she had a lot that I could personally relate to that I haven't yet seen done already which is a treat.
I'd love to read and see more from her - the little relationship she created in between her pages made me happy and was a nice pick me up. Loved it.

Debbie Tung’s latest graphic novel, Happily Ever After & Everything In Between, continues her simple yet delightfully engaging musings on everyday life. Tung’s latest work shows her lovable protagonist’s evolution of self and partnership. Renderings lovingly highlight a myriad of relational dynamics from pre-marriage to the honeymoon period, to settling in and growing together from individuals to a couple and as a family. Lighthearted and completely relatable with laugh out loud reflections are sure to charm a diverse crowd!
4 snuggles out of 5!
Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the electronic ARC in trade for an honest review.

This was my first ever graphic novel and I really enjoyed it. It was a super easy, quick read. The illustrations were so cute and were really easy to follow along with and really portrayed the emotions that the characters were feeling. I can’t wait to read more by this author.
Thank you NetGalley for allowing me early access to this book.

3.5 stars
Tung has the talent to write and draw feel-good books and this was no exception. Whilst "Quiet Girl in a Noisy World" focused on the author's mental health, this aimed to show snippets of the author's married life.
Overall, it a beautifully drawn feel-good book that left a smile on my face!

Short and sweet. A few relatable moments here, but not as many as Book Love. I might gift it to anyone newly married or engaged, but probably won’t add it to my library. Seems like Tung has already set herself up for the next installment with the big reveal at the end.
