I was happy to review this after reading Debbie Tung’s other collection, Quiet Girl in a Nosiy World. This one was just as sweet And funny as the last one. This one shares Debbie’s adventures with her husband. The artwork is gorgeous and the dialogue is smooth. Would highly, highly recommend!

I received this as an eARC to read for free in exchange for my honest review. Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for giving me access.
Happily Ever After & Everything in Between was a hilarious portrayal of daily married life. I related so much to the characters and had some laugh out loud moments, because let's face it, this is the embodiment of marriage.
This graphic novel was relatable, lovable, and just downright cute. I recommend all married couples to read this, if anything to reminisce your early years together.

It was cute and funny! It was a perfect read and I enjoyed reading the book. The illustrations were good and the comic was also highly relatable!

This graphic novel was so cute! But maybe a little *too* cute? There was no plot at all, which is fine. I don't know much about the artist/creator, but it seemed like a compilation of adorably-drawn web comics as vignettes of a relationship, and not quite a "novel." Still recommend for a heaping dose of cuteness!

This is such a wholesome book about the life of a couple of newly weds. I'm so happy that I came across it; so lovely and pure! If you like Catana Comics, you should read this one! Rating: 5/5 stars.

Short and sweet slice-of-life comic collection that focuses on Debbie Tung's relationship with her husband in their first six years of marriage. As someone in a long-term relationship I found most of these comics relatable but nothing really struck me as extra humorous or insightful or anything - what she's trying to say has been said before, and she didn't add anything that unique to the whole "young couple living together and in love" thing despite this being her own life story.

I regularly follow Debbie Tung's work. This is her second book. I liked book; "book love " very much and still re-read it sometimes.
Her best quality is cleanness of her art which is easy on eyes and mind.
She touches soft spots of husband and wife's relationship. It is funny and highly prone to produce soft giggles from reader. It is cute if we try to define work in one word.
It is easy to read and hard to stop once you have started reading it.
Read it and her other works too. She has written three graphic novels.
Thanks netgalley and publisher for review copy.

this was a cute book and I love the charters in the book and I can Waite till she wrights more and I love the pictures too and I love everything about this book. and I gave it 5 stars. and ill read more.

Such a cute read! This is the second book I read for Debbie Tung, the first was Quiet Girl in a Noisy World. I have to say I enjoyed the first one a bit more but this was VERY adorable, especially the ending!

Happily Ever After & Everything In Between would make the perfect anniversary gift for most couples that include a reader or two. I've read both of Debbie Tung's previous two books, and while I enjoyed both of them, this title speaks to me on a more intimate level. Most of the comics reflect similar experiences I've had with my own adorable husband (some of them almost act for act or word for word!), and I found myself smiling so much while reading. I had to share some of the comics with him, and I believe this is another book I want to own for my own library. Tung is one of those authors that we need right now during these tumultuous times, if nothing else than to help us escape our current reality.
Definitely recommended.

I received a digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
This charming book is a series of cartoons that tell the story of the authors first six years of marriage. In the beginning, we see a young couple adjusting to the idea of being married, and follow the progression of their relationship as they navigate the milestones of couplehood. I won’t spoil the ending, but I will say it was the perfect way to draw the book to a close. I look forward to future books in this series (hint, hint).
I moved this book up in my TBR pile because I was looking for a laugh out loud book. This book was not that book, but that does not mean I did not enjoy it tremendously. Rather than the belly laughs I was expecting, I experienced more sweet nostalgia for my own newlywed days. There are many, many recognizable scenes throughout the book, and Ms. Tung did an excellent job capturing them with her drawings.

Debbie Tung has done it again. Her comics are so relatable and authentic and just cute as a button. Highly recommend it!

After drawings introversion in Quiet Girl in a Noisy World and about book lovers in Book Love, in Happily Ever After & Everything in Between, Debbie Tung is illustrating her married life. As in her previous books, I related a lot to the author and her love life with her husband, even if I’m not married. It does echo to some of the drawings present in Quiet Girl since her introversion is present in her relationship.
Overall, as with all Debbie Tung’s books, I really enjoyed the illustrations and the scenes. I will keep reading her comics.

Debbie Tung is slowly becoming one of my favorite illustrators ever! I always feel so warm and cozy when I read her comics and I'm so grateful that I sometimes snag early copies of her books!
Happily Ever After is the next one in her slice-of-life comic books that depict everyday moments in her marriage. It's cute as fuck and it makes me want to go find the biggest stuffed toy in the world and cuddle with it. It was very reminiscent of Snug, for me, but they're also really different at the same time and idk if it even makes any sense but that's just how it is.
Also, can I just say that her art style is super adorkable?! I love the inky style so so so much! As always, what a pleasure to read her book!
Huge thanks to Netgalley for the advanced copy! I LOVE YOU, NETGALLEY!

Alternating between sweet and funny, this collection of comics shows the positives of a relationship. An uplifting books for troubled times. My only hiccup was the shading of grays sometimes made the writing hard to read; however, that could have been due to the computer I was reading it on and the paper copy will not have that issue.

**HEARTWARMING**
Debbie Tung comes up with this very relatable and beautifully illustrated comics about what is it like to live close to your better half. Oh my! I can’t wait to read all her other books! So glad to have read the ARC from Netgalley!

Touching and relatable without being too mushy. The author has an acute eye for observation and notices the little things that are the glue in a long-term relationship. A lovely book.

I absolutely love Debbie Tung and her work. Author of what accounts to some of the most relatable graphic novels and comics that I have ever read, she now returns with a wonderfully gripping and amusing book featuring the things we experience within our relationships. Using her own marriage as inspiration, Tung delights readers with a plethora of fantastic and hilarious tidbits from her own relationship. I loved every moment of reading this book and couldn't help comparing Tung's artwork to my own relationship.
Tung's style never ceases to blow me away. She continues to impress me with the adorable nature of both her art and her storytelling. In fact, certain stories were so relatable in such a real way that even my boyfriend, who has never cared much for what I read, had a few good giggles when I showed him. Happily Ever After & Everything in Between is very much one of my most appreciated slice of life graphic novels.
I can say this much for this novel and Tung's previous Book Love that I've read before: they're both utterly amazing. I can't wait to see what she comes out with net.
I was provided a free copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute quick read that felt very realistic. Even though the illustrations were simple, I was surprisingly touched by some of the messages they conveyed. This would make a great present for a partner or someone in a long-term relationship, and I can’t wait to read the author’s eventual book about parenting.

I downloaded this before I realized that I couldn't read it on my Kindle. I tried to open the document but just couldn't get it to go. Cute cover though and description sounds fun!
